  • I want a satisfying ending. It doesn't have to be purely happy, as the first season proved, but I don't want the final note to be disturbingly hopeless just for the sake of it.

  • Kirkman begs to differ...

  • i'm not sure my attention span will last the gap between season 2 and this mythical season 3.

Most will say no, most are lying. We come to this game for heartbreak and depression, we will leave this game with heartbreak and depression. Then next season we will return for the exact. same. thing.

  • Tis not Kirman's story.

    Kirkman begs to differ...

  • It might not. But as soon as you catch wind of season 3 you'll be back, they always come back.

  • After playing this game I become emotionally drained

  • I don't mind dark as long as there is hope in the darkness. Season 1 was great because there was an almost perfect balance of hope and depression.

  • Hey, you aren't TheGirlFromAus, who does walkthroughs of games on YouTube, are you?

  • What no I didn't say I don't like dark endings
I'm just saying that it seemed people more of a bitter sweet ending

I'm sorry, are you in the wrong franchise?

  • Hehe no I'm certainly not a girl but i am Australian so you're half right XD, i've never heard of TheGirlFromAus. However I'm going to make a very bold assertion here and say your from the land of the long white cloud.

  • This is what happened to me...i finished season 1 and cried like a bitch for half an hour,i couldn't stop thinking about the game for a few days then i just moved on....once i heard of Season 2 i immediately buyed it...

  • They said it was going to be "sunshine and rainbows" in episode 4 and "pizza and ice cream" in episode 5 though.

It's pretty much established that the ending won't be rainbows and unicorns. So I guess you'll get what you want, unfortunately... Still, I'm hoping for some sort of bitter-sweet ending at least.

  • Funny how a lot of threads got this name "Am I the only one?"

  • The story is good because of the heart break and depression. ..

If the story had the same characters who live life in the ZA without ever facing the zombies/monstrous humans (and you still got connected to them somehow) and have safe shelter the entire time then chances are you wouldn't enjoy it. Notice no ZA stories start and continue throughout a completely safe area? That's boring!

If episode 3 were r to roll around and the heartbreak and depression were to completely stop then you, I, and everyone else would be flabbergasted.

  • I think the worse thing would be for Clem to be left alone in this world. :(

If everyone dies, and Clem survives with at least part of her innocence intact, I'll consider that a happy ending. That's all I'm asking for.

  • And you believe them:)? Trust me, it will be the exact opposite.

Yep. A New Zealander through and through. Anyway, you should check out TheGirlFromAus. Her videos on YouTube are quite good.

  • I want a realistic ending. If that means Clementine changes that's fine, but not everyone goes mentally ill just because bad things have happened. She is not Lizzie. I want something realistic to the situation. So even if its happy, a realistic happy.

  • Nick lives with suicide. :D

"I'll live with it". Didn't hear that one before!

  • By sunshines and rainbows i think they mean it will start off as a happy, safe episode then of course something will happen...

This song supposedly plays after completing episode 5, sounds pretty creepy. It's The Walking Dead so I don't expect a happy ending, I just hope Clem doesn't end up alone and hopefully TTG can make an ending just as good or better than the S1 ending.

  • No but I am :p

  • Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I'm not too fond of dark endings, although it obviously depends on the specifics.

I'd be absolutely fine with any sort of ending as long as Clementine and Sarah survive, for example. Clementine because she's awesome and I can't take another player character dying a gruesome death and Sarah because it seems so LIKELY for her to run of and get bitten or just shut down and go insane, and everyone just thinks she's so damn weak and unfit for this world...I just want her to prove everyone wrong. To get a chance to learn and grow as a person, you know?

They're both just too damn young to die.

I expect to have my heart ripped out of my chest at the end of it all, though. As usual.

  • I don't like that ending...

  • I don't see the need for a dark ending... Season 1 already had a dark ending where the survivors were all separated and some died, I think Season 2 should have a semi-good ending at least.

  • Seems like I'm the only one who wants a happy ending. Or at least half happy ending.

  • A very dark ending is what I'll expect,Clem can't be safe forever.she isn't immortal. I even had horrible nightmares of off screen Clem rapes...oh god the horror.
