Any characters you really like but think they could have been better executed?
For example, getting to spend more time with a character, or that character acting slightly different?

I wish we had more time with Matthew. R.I.P
CHET!
A lot of characters I wish could've had more development. I really wish we had more time to talk to Carlos, Alvin, and pretty much everyone in the cabin group. Knowing more about Carlos would've made his death have a lot more meaning instead of him just being gone, or he could've at least had a more meaningful death like Alvin. That didn't stop me from being torn by Carlos and Alvin's death, but I really hoped we would've known more about their character. I really feel the same way about everyone in the cabin. They seem to be getting killed off yet we haven't really gotten to know them as much as we could've.
Out of all the characters in the game, I'd say Carver was executed perfectly... If you know what I mean.
Carver.
Carley. I wish she could have lived.
At least we knew what important things like Sarah is the most important thing in the world to Carlos and that Alvin truly loved Rebecca
With a little imagination and courage from the writers, Carver could have been so much more than he turned out to be in Episode 3.
[sigh]...Clem
gives flameshield
you're gonna need it
What comes around goes around, Kenny gets his face smashed by Carver so Kenny returned the favour
Lilly killing Carley just like that was infuriating in my opinion, I mean killing someone who didn't do anything wrong while their back is turned? At least Doug died saving someone's life determinantly
I would have been interested in getting to know Carlos a little better, I think (And not just because he was really hot...>.>)
Definitely Carlos. Also I'm still annoyed by the whole "Can you trust them (Cabin Survivors)" story angle that pretty much went no where, since the answer is 'yes' and there really wasn't much of a secret or reason not to besides the Witch Trials Shed Bite moment.
So many interesting Carlos hints though. Especially how Luke talks to him in front of Sarah about how her dad isn't going to do anything 'crazy'. Would have loved examples of what directly caused bad blood. Alvin's at least was a bit more obvious.
Carver. I wish they could make a scary and cruel but very smart villain. He had a big potential and I was kinda sad when he died.
Lilly. I get that she was supposed to be losing it a little, but shooting Doug (and especially Carley) really comes out of nowhere. She wasn't that unstable.
Also probably the 400 days crowd (except Bonnie), I feel like they could've had more to do than a throwaway line each.
I'm going to have to say Alvin. He seemed like a really likeable character, and cared for Clem, he gave her the juice box after all! Plus he wouldn't let his last act in the world be giving a child a gun. He had a great death scene (if you saved him), sure, but I feel like we hardly know him.
I also agree with everyone saying Carlos too, and Carver who had great potential to be a cool villain. We could've also used more time with Chuck, and Doug who gets outsaved by Carley every time.
I agree.
Season 1: I really wanted Ben to live, but we did know him pretty well. Though I wish we could have heard more about his experience before he met the group, because I always find it interesting when you learn about previous groups. one of my favorite things in some games is to go around and find notes/audio logs which talk about other people's experiences.
Season 2: Pete, we didn't know him that well, but his scenes were awesome.
A large portion of the characters in Season 2. They're still developed, just not as much as the other characters in Season 1.
Au contraire. You underestimate the cynicism that most members have towards Season 2's Clementine.
Walter.
Oh, wait, I got the "executed" part wrong.
Good one
Ditto.
Well, I'd start with our protagonist and go through the whole S2 cast one by one in order of subjective "importance".
9-year-old Clem, first and foremost, newly orphaned with scars still fresh and only just ripped out of the womb, and so by extension, 11-year old Clem, whose full treatment could have been left for another season.
I do wonder, what kind of a protagonist would 9yo Clem make? Could it work?
I think Reggie should have been fleshed out more and lasted for more than half an episode. I don't think his voice actor did a good job.
Mark, I liked him, but he could have been more developed and the voice actor could have done a better job.

Also the entire cabin group, I currently care about exactly 0 of them. I care more about Jane, who's barely had ten lines, than any of them.
I really care about Sarah. That's what made Carlos death sad for me.
So my hopes are in Episode 4. Let's see what we'll get!
I agree, something about Clementine in season 2 just feels.... Off. Like she isn't even the same character from season 1.
I was anxiously waiting to find out. I'm guessing many of us by this point have forgotten that as we played through the prologue before being taken by surprise by what followed next, we were already set and ready, acceptingly resigned, expecting and made to believe we were now to be playing an entire season set within that more immediate period (9-10 years of age). Would it have worked? I would like to think so--it's an intriguing 'what if'--but now we're long past being able to find out.
Every time I look at this picture though, I'm still left wondering about it. I find it exudes something more harrowing when her original, younger model is used. To me, it more effectively evokes the picture of a destitute child rattled to the core and severely impacted and assaulted by the madness of a merciless world going to Hell around her, far more in keeping with the image projected by the song In The Pines (or the iconic SI music that plays immediately before the menu screen, for that matter), one that has proved to be so incongruous with what we have seen of her in this game, that convincing image of a vulnerable and struggling orphaned Clementine, conflicted and alone and suffering in her forlornness and distress.

"Jesus, are you fucking kidding me?!"
I guess that's the point.
I wanted more time with Carver. As weird as it sounds I just didn't think he was developed enough for TellTale to kill him off like that.
Yeah, totally agreed. I was actually pretty scared about what he told Clementine about her being "much alike" to him. Knowing Telltale, I just wanna see what kind of foreshadowing that has.
It kinda sounded like his voice was turned up louder than the other voices in the game.
Officer Andre Mitchell always comes to mind. I wanna see him in S2.
