I do like the idea of a teenager. But I ALSO like the idea of a Bandit! Maybe he could be a lone bandit on his own, stealing from others. Th… moreen again that sounds a bit too far-fetched. A bandit in a group would also be good. With the rest of the group being main characters.
another option, how about we will play the leader of wellington in season 3? say, at the end of season 2 Clementine and others get there and it's a good community, and then we play the leader guy who tries to hold it together, with Clem and others being important characters
I wouldn't really want a new protagonist of Season Three to be honest. Clementine works since we've been following her story from the very beginning. And the TT TWD series has been great to see how a young child grows up with the world destroyed around her. Clem was a very different person when Lee met her in the first Season in comparison to now and I still see plenty and I mean plenty of room for more character growth for her. If they were to change the protagonist to someone other than her or any of the original Macon group the timeline should just reset, I don't think I'd have a strong emotional connection controlling a character I was just introduced to after playing two games with the original Macon group.
But if the timeline were to reset (like I said above) and we'd begin with the apocalypse all over again I'd like to play as a relatively young character again, maybe a tennager.
I would like to play as a badass like Carver, Roman or Kenny. You know, someone aggressive and that you get several times the punch or kill option. Yeah, I like to be a jerk in games...
Bio: He walks the roads with a guitar strapped to his back. He is very charismatic, however he prefers to spend most of his time alone. He doesn't trust other people. He keeps people at arms length unintentionally, but is friendly enough that most people don't notice. He likes kids, He spends most of his time with his dog. He is a very intelligent person, artistic, but Introverted. He is technical, he knows how to fix machines or solve complex problems. He has a hard time asking people for help. He has problems with depression, and sometimes he self medicates with whatever he can find, he hates living that way but it is the only way to "feel" normal. He lives with guilt for what happened with his wife and family.
Quotes:
Life was hard before the end of the world, now its a joyous wonderland!
Don't tease my dog, he will go Mike Tyson on you!
Why are you so happy? Did you forget to wake up?
What is the point? We all know how this is going to end.

I don't think this idea will be appreciated by a lot of people, but...
How about a young man (let's call him Todd for now) in his 20's that suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. Even though he is surviving he relies on his wheelchair sometimes and the help of his friend; let's call him Morgan. Todd can fend for himself but obviously as some people might know- MS is a pain in the arse, that is an added worry upon the zombie apocalypse himself. His condition also might cause friction with other groups if they want him to stay because he could be a liability for the group.
What about a character that is similar to Ben? Except the only difference is he still survived after he "accidentally" got his whole group killed.
Due to the guilt and trauma of the experience; he put himself into self exile and became a hermit. He lived a solitude life in a remote area and he was able live like Sarah and forget that the apocalypse had ever happened. He was also able to focus on his passion which is art. It wasn't until he encountered Clementine's group during a crazy situation. That was when he was once again forced to face the reality that he hid from. Due to his solitary life he forgot how to defend himself. Clementine then teaches him how to survive and he reteaches her of what it means to be human.
...Clementine perhaps? Teenage Clem maybe so it's more relatable... but no one other than Clem or I probably won't play it, for reasons that it'd make seasons one and two worthless.
How about this for a quote, " You clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in.
I'm am not in danger. I AM THE DANGER. Some guys opens his door and gets shot, and you think that of me? No! I am the one who knocks!"
And how about, "If that's true, if you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course...... would be to tread lightly."

meh, i don't like the idea of playing a bandit, how are we supposed to sympathize with someone who ruins other people's lives for a living?

Hate to be that guy, but:
Those are the first words the op wrote.

Hihi, I'd sure like to play that guy
I can see this guy being a supporting character, but not really a main character. But that's just me.
It seems to me that when it come to a zombie apocalypse, females tend to be the most badass characters... Michonne, Jane, Molly...

What do you think?
Here's mine:
No new playable character.

Both quotes from old Heisenberg himself.
