Thanks for hearing me out... Sorry if that was more explosive than necessary. I'm just reeling from all the wrong feels with this episode. No sadness from any of the tragedies. Only anger and frustration towards the... metagame? Is that the word I'm looking for?
Which is why it was smart of TTG to use mostly their own characters for this game. As much as I enjoyed The Wolf Among Us, using Bigby as the player character means that the comics will always have top priority over the character. There is only so much the player's can influence when the character's future is already set.
Well, you can't blame a lot of people to be clingy to Clem. You have seen her grow up in this world since it all started and want to be with her until it ends.
Ya, I agree with you completely. Having no idea what going to happen to Lee or what will happen to Clementine makes them a lot of fun to play. As much as I loved Bigby, knowing what was going to happen to him regardless of what happens in the game was kind of sad. I still hope they keep him as the playable character for a S2 though.

I cant believe you guys want Clementines story to end when Clementine is one of the best characters in all of telltale and is just getting better from time to time. SHAME ON MOST OF YOU!
Nah, not really, that's the whole purpose of the votes, showing someone that you disagree with him. Sure it would be nice if most if not all would state why, but it is not necessary. If people shouldn't downvote posts they don't agree with, why not abandon the whole voting system instead?
And also, how do you know that and how many abuse it? Can you look into the heads of the people voting? I prefer people voting instead of fighting over the same thing over and over.
While I also love Clementine, I agree, it's the same with Kenny (who I don't like and who I wish wouldn't have been in Season 2 because it was obvious that he died in Season 1, I'd would have preferred Lilly). I don't think we would have Kenny in Season 2 if not for all those people crying for him over and over.
Well, Clem is kind of a cash-cow for Telltale, if they were to kill her, they would lose A LOT of their fanbase so, if they're going to make more walking dead seasons, they're probably gonna keep her alive.
If they were to end the story with Clem, then another season would make all of our decisions pointless. Clem is the only character that can … morelive on with the Season One decisions, so if you changed to a completely different character, our choices would have no effect.
I think there is a lot of potential in Clem... Think about it... We can see her grow up every seasons, and change her personality like we are.... I wish they continue with Clem... But, you know, are opinions xD
Nah, I don't think they'd kill her off. I think that if they did that, they'd lose a lot of fans, and their ratings would go down. If they do decide to take Clem off as the protagonist, they'd probably just leave her story open ended.
Oh man, you actually voiced the top 1 thing I HATE about TWAU, Whatever was my decision, I always knew that whatever I did, however my Bigby was, he wasn't actually my Bigby because his character, story and development is set in stone due to the Comics. The game doesn't make one inch of a difference I the Fable Universe because the things will still happen exactly as they did in the Comics.
In TWD, While many Decision still don't matter, and TT can't change fundamental things about the World, whatever happens to the character is still very changeable. It still matters what you do, you still feel like you matter. Clementine is completely independent from all other Stories set in the TWD Universe.

Because downvotes, not like upvotes, do mean something to some people (You may not believe it but it's true), and when you downvote someone that said something that is not offensive or wrong in any way, you're simply saying "fuck you, your opinion is wrong, but I can't say why." without anything to back it up, of course if it's something offensive or wrong you don't have to say anything, but in most cases it's the exact opposite, people get butthurt and defensive and quickly press that button instead of saying something.
And also, how do you know that and how many abuse it?
Literaly every post me and some of the users here post we get at least 3 downvotes, that is only because some people "dislike us" because of past encounters and trolls giving out free hate.
Show me one thread that states an opinion without a minimum of 1 dislike, and that's enough to prove my point.

Having Clem safe at Wellington after Ep.5 is a good way to jump a few years and keep her in one spot simultaneously for the third season. It's also a good way to give her more of a family and friends to look out for, especially when Wellington falls.
Could you imagine if the entirety of Season 3 happened in Wellington while it's under attack by both undead and raiders?
If they continued doing this I'd kind of like to see a reboot and go back to the beginning with another group. Might sound kind of funny but I think first year of the zombie apocalypse has a lot more interesting things going on than just year 2, 3 or 4. It's odd to think about because on one hand I think The Walking Dead game is really what put Telltale on the map but on the other hand I think people may be getting tired of The Walking Dead franchise which is why they're moving on to doing The Game of Thrones.

I agree with you and I think all the series should end with season 2. Don't get me wrong, I would miss Clementine and all the characters but... I want to remember these games as "near perfect" ones.
Idunno. If there's a season 3, I think it'd start out as you playing as the boy. I mean. It's a shot in the dark, and it's not likely. It'd have to be like, ten years later. But. yeah. It's an assumption.
I don't really want to play as teenage Clementine either. It'd just be a lot of "deja vu" stuff. Meh.
There is still more quality story to be had imo as long as the writings good i dont want them to go down hill either but dont want the to end to soon just out of fear of going down hill at least one more season up to season 5 tops wanna see clem grow to be an adult first plus maybe a rick grimes cameo for 1 ep would be great

Well for me it would be good to end Clementine´s Story but not like Lee. I want it to be like she is with a group and their find a SAFE place to be at least for a time and then in other season you take control of a survivor that help´s Clementine just like Lee but not with too much responsability.I mean they would just help each other to survive for me that would be great!
Nah, Clementine should stay as the main character. I'm more interested in seeing her interact with the world she lives in; though I like the idea of seasons (or micro-seasons) of other character stories.
I think there is a good way to phase out Clementine without losing their entire fanbase, however, it's not going to happen this or next season. There is just no one I personally care enough about besides her right now to be a protagonist next season. Perhaps they could introduce or bring someone back early next season, but as of now, there is no way she isn't the protagonist going forward.
For sure. End it, I am Legend style with Clem walking into Wellington alone with the baby. Then do an epilogue with teenage Clem and a slightly older baby.
sorry i dont agree with you somethings need to keep their characters otherwise there is no point the story ends and than its over than the only way to continue is a reboot like for example super man he is the character you cant have his son take over or a relative its him only when his story is done you either end it or to continue by rebooting or retelling the story in this case its the same all stories after so long cant move forward when you take out the main characters of the story when they go so does the story in the tv show we have Rick, his son, and the group they are the main characters and yea i know you will say the story can go on without them cause its more about the zombies and people trying to survive so the story could move foward without them yes maybe so but sometimes its not always going to be the best that way when you continue the story with new people trying to fill in it dont work the story starts to become messy to keep the story going you need the same people otherwise it makes no sense and now for the other point the games story focused on Clementine she is the main character survivor so she has to continue not only that I would rather play her again than anyone else I liked Lee but he is gone and eveyone else is just ok but i dont want to play them and i really dont want to play anyone else i think if they do a season 3 they should have the choice of you playing Clem if you want or one of the surviving members if you want or a made up person if you want and to all who suggested Clems story to end here and to see all different characters I dont agree for 1 for us to have a season 3 we need these characters to survive and go on to have a season 3 with all new characters would make no sense and 2 it would just crap on this story to end her and their story would end the series it means you cant have a season 3 cause they made the seasons other words to have all new characters we would have to reboot or restart the series and right now its not broke and we dont need to fix it yet its fine if you dont want to play Clem again maybe for season 3 we can hope they give us character options so that the ones who want to play clem could play her and for others who want someone else have that option to but it would not be season 3 without clem and her group
I see where you're coming from, but the entire series focuses around Clementine.
As people have said, season one introduces her, purposely makes you like her or sympathize with her and help her.
Season 2 is almost like carrying on the torch, the transition from Lee to Clementine wasn't that big. Although we all cared for our first main character, keeping Clementine safe is practically the whole point of the first season.
I would feel cheated if their was a new protagonist 'cause my decisions that have influenced Clementine would be meaningless, I'd still play it but I'd be a little bit annoyed.
Comments
I was thinking that they would carry on a cast of fresh people and like just pause clem's story I guess to return to in a later season

Our Decisions having no effect?! Impossible, that never happened in a Telltale game! Unbelievable!![;) ;)](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
NO! Don't use that comment! It is said that whoever's name is on it dies....!
That would get too repetitive.. But still, it sounds okay.
I love Playing As Clementine
So No....They should Continue her Story.

With a universe as big as TWD's, we need new characters. Clem still has potential, but i want someone new.
I am getting sick of Kenny's stupid shit.
Luke is always acting strange.
Mike is being awesome, but with the weird writers at TTG, he's pretty much dead.
Bonnie is just another secondary character, not much interest.

Yeah that's right , Most of TWD fans love Clem, After all She's one of the best female characters in gaming World
I'd love to see at least one more season with clem. I enjoyed playing her.

End as the playable character sure why not but to be killed off HELL NO!!!!!

Walt's death is a sure thing since the first episode. He/she should've tagged it better but the spoiler could be way worse

They should atleast cancel tales from the borderlands lol, that shit wont ever get me to care as much as the walking dead has.

No I still want to play as her. I enjoy it too much. Plus I still see potential for another season being as Clementine.
Your avatar goes great with that comment to be honest.
Yup one of the best video game characters ever.Prob the best imo
For sure. End it, I am Legend style with Clem walking into Wellington alone with the baby. Then do an epilogue with teenage Clem and a slightly older baby.
The direction twd is going in right now, it's crushing any real ending for the series.

You guys do understand this is just an opinion?
Don't become upset in anyway, it's just something that some of us think.

Would you really want to play a season three?
Even Bigby is concerned of Clem's fate in the last episode!
Hell yeah why not??
