How old should Clem be in Season 3
If she is in Season 3(She probably is) how old should she be? I would want her to be maybe 12 or 13, I want Clem to stay as a kid. It's pretty awesome adults thinking a kid isn't a threat, but the biggest threat.

14, I think that's a good age.
If she is in it i think she will be the same age maybe a few months older.
IMO 13-14 maybe 15
Well Telltale can freely do another 2 year time skip since Kirkman's comic is 4 years into the ZA now.
I kinda want her to be a lot older. I think I'm tired of playing a child. If Clem was older, making her do everything would make sense.
So the max age is 14?
Yeah, they can't go past Kirkman's timeline, since it's his universe and all.
Pls 18. So everyone can stop bitching around because of that "Why did the little girl have to do everything"-thing
In S1, she was a child who finally learned that she need to defend herself.
In S2, she's a very capable tween who is a real asset to any group.
In S3 she needs to be a leader. 14 - 16. Make her old enough to be a group leader in her own right and have the potential to have relationships that aren't just adult/child or badass-child/lame-child.
Yeah but if shes like 16 everyones gonna bitch about a timeskip
I think that would depend on how long into the ZA the comic books are. For instance, if the comic books were 10 years in, Clem could be 18.
Idk, maybe an ideal age would be 13-15.
She'd likely be 13-14 since the comics done another timeskip recently. Would like it if she could be older though. That way she could be a protective figure to Rebecca's child and it can be somewhat symbolic to the fact that Lee protected Clem in the first season.
Let's do some math here
She was 8 up until Episode 5
In Episode 5 she was 9
After the 16 months time skip she was 11
So it's been 2 years in the ZA
fast forward 2 years and she's 13
So her max age is 13
Nailed it.
14 or 15.
YAY! I can't wait to tell my mom about my test results!
I'm not sure I just don'T want a rehash of Season 2
she needs to be older so that we can see her in a new role maybe even as the leader of
a group? that would be fucking awesome
Like I've said before, I think we need to play as someone else to prevent things from getting stale. Having her as a side character would be a better idea then as a playable one IMO. And yeah, 14 is the likely age like others have said. Of course, we don't even know if she survives this season or not, I guess we just have to wait until episode 5.
I strongly disagree, Clementine IS Telltale's The Walking Dead. She's become a very iconic character to the franchise and for a good reason, it's been amazing seeing how a child evolves when the world around her is completely destroyed and loses everything. We always hear those gritty depressing stories with fictional characters talking about their past. But in this series when you say things that you had to go through in the past (with either Lee or Clem) it feels much more personal since you were right in the middle of it. If Clem returns I only see her being the player character. Playing as an original Macon group survivor to me just makes the most sense in my book since it feels like you've been on the journey with them from the beginning and it makes the story feel more personal. And in the end we'll feel like we'll have a completed story arc.
Plus, her being the player character was just a perfect transition. You trained her as Lee. It felt like you were getting her ready to be able to take on the world in the first season. And Season Two felt like the somewhat origin story and Clem's early steps into becoming a Grade-A badass.
Plus I said this before but, I'm very, very sure she'll survive Season Two. Especially since Season Three was just announced. Killing her off would be the equivalent of simply killing the entire franchise.
I think she should be a teenager! Like 14 or 15!
This in a nutshell. Clementine is the walking dead the game. 1st game is shaping her 2 and 3+ is being her.
I'm going to risk getting lynched here, and cast my vote for a fully grown eighteen-year-old.
As long as Clem's story doesn't overlap with any more characters or arcs from Kirkman's part of the WALKING DEAD universe, I don't see why a season chronicling the adventures of a teenage Clem much further along in the zombie apocalypse would present a big issue.
Hope she is in her late teens or early 20s.
16-18
or
18-20
I dont want her to stay a kid. I dont want to keep playing the same game over and over. Thirteen still seems too close to 11 but I guess thats the best they can do to keep in line with the comic.
13-15
I think that would still be stepping on Kirkman's toes. We dont know what he has in mind for 7 or 8 years into his universe. For all we know, the planet might explode.
IF telltale decides to make her a protagonist in Season 3. Will she even survive Episode 5? We don't know anything. I would like her to be at least 13 though.
They should either continue where Season Two left off or time skip another 1.5-2 years. 12 of 13 would be perfect.
15 years old
Approximately 4 billion years old.
Clementine has no beginning, Clementine has no end. She...is infinite.
I would like to play as Kenny (if he survives season 2) and I personally don't want another time skip
Yeah by then Rick will probably have mostly restored humanity by then so...
14-15 would be ideal for me. Not an adult, but we wouldn't be running off playing the same experience we did this season with a pre-teen Clem.
She can only be a max of 13 or 14 because telltale can't go ahead of the comics.
I'm SICK of the time skips. There's a point where you lose your sense of ignorance for these things and know it's not realistic anymore. I want time to invest in characters dealing with the aftermath of everything. I think by four to five years humanity would of adapted dont you think and everyone who's still alive will be a well oiled zombie killing badass with no mistakes, lessening the impact of anything. Humans LEARN fast. you think they'll make the same mistake..OVER and Over and over for years? cause.. I dont think Telltale will want to represent them like that. They're not STUPID.
Ontop of that. I like a story that doesnt just get bored and go "eh lets jump ahead a few years cause why not?"
Just pick up a few months after the first season left off.. Or just pick it up where season 2 left it.. I thought about It and I dont think it would be good if she is past 13.. I dont want Clem to become like Ellie.. Swearing and brash... Just keep her the same age..
Like some have said. 13 is good considering the comics. I'm all for following Clementine as she grows up.
I would really want her to stay the same age she is now, maybe a year older. As a teenager myself, I hate it when people "you're just a kid, you can't do this." But thats what is so cool about Clementine... everyone underestimates her because she is young but she is tougher than all of them.
Might not even be possible or fit the story but I'd like to see her in her late teens. I'd like a big change. Don't know what else they can do with a young Clem.
They can't go too far into the future. Kirkman wouldn't like considering its his universe. The only way that can be possible if this was some sort of Alternate universe sort of thing that in no way affects Kirkman's plans.
