is Arvo redeemable?

  • I'm pretty sure it was drug trafficking of some kind

Unless the Russkies know of survivors down south, I don't think there are any survivors at all.

I'll forgive him if he shows he's sorry. No use holding grudges, and I'm pretty sure that group is probably making him do stuff for them since they don't know English.

  • Yeah, he probably is. I like him. Him being so meek and cowardly, along with not having the best grasp of English and being forced into the role of translator for his group makes for an interesting character, I think.

  • Yeah, I figured that after replaying the episode. Gotta admit, I was quite confused as to why he would say that anyway. Concerning the weapon, I imagine she could have simply removed ammo and give the gun back.

Jane doesn't steal his medicine. Clem has the option of whether to do that or not. She does take away his gun but after he pulled the stunt

  • Yes, I wish the option had been there but I reckon it would still have caused troubles since his friends would probably have visited Clem's group at the worst timing.

I wanted Jane to kill him when she threatens him after stealing his supplies, I had my clementine say nothing, there was no "shoot him." Option, because i knew deep down letting this guy go after robbing him was a mistake.

  • he was holding clem at gunpoint was that right my clem just wanted to talk to him to see if he was a danger to the group

  • honestly to early to judge but i think he doesnt wanna do bad things i think his group is pushing him

  • Maybe if it was another character then they might have done that; however, if you look at Jane you can tell she is street smart. I imagine she has a spare clip of bullets in her pocket just to be prepared and because she does that she wouldn't underestimate her enemy, no matter how much of a wimp he/she may seem like. Giving back the gun only to end up them filling it back up with ammo could come back to bite you in the ass.

That being said. I honestly think that Arvo is accusing them of stealing the meds and not the gun. Perhaps he is pilfering the goods for whatever reason. I just feel like those Russians would have a lot of weapons so losing a handgun wouldn't be so bad, but losing all those drugs definitely would be.

It's not like Kenny is gonna give him a chance to redeem himself if he lives

You don't think Kenny is gonna go apeshit on him now that he's put the baby in danger?

  • I'll forgive him after I beat his ass.

Nah he's not being forced. Like i've said numerous times before. He's doing this because of him, he tried throwing away the meds maybe since he wanted to kill his own sister or a group member and sacrificed clementine and the others on the way and acknowledges that. that's why he's hesitant and sad sort of.

He lies either way since he ended up throwing away the backpack and wanted an excuse that he was robbed. So, he is an ass hole that thinks of himself only.

That's a pretty black and white attitude. We don't know the whole situation yet and things are bound to be more complicated; whether he's be

  • I just lol'ed at this. I hope Bonnie puts a bullet in his brain.

  • Survival ALWAYS come before morality, it´s human instinct, you can´t blame that. You really should know this by now, because this is why we see a lot of messed up stuff in the Walking Dead world compared to our civilized world.

  • If he makes it out unscathed from the shootout and surrenders immediately, I'll give him a chance.

If he dies, oh well. Wounded? Let Kenny administer dose of percussive therapy.

  • He's a jerk or TTG made mistake in the end. I didn't take his meds but he told his friends I robbed him. Weird. Besides, Arvo is Finnish and Estonian name, not Russian. Another mistake? Telltale is hiring ignorants. :(

  • I dunno... this Harry Potter looks like he'd go to Hufflepuff..

Harry Potter got accepted into Gryffindor for a reason.

  • My one hope for him to live is that Bonnie will vouch for him as shes been there before , so if he lives bonnie lives too

  • Yeah, I think he does actually have a sister that his gang/group aren't aware of or something. Arvo gives the stuff to his sister and makes up a story about how Clem's group stole it from him. I noticed something else after my second play-through. When the group gets ambushed by the Russians; when Arvo asks about the meds you can only really blame Jane or pick one of the other pointless remarks which I thought was a bit strange since you can obviously tell Jane didn't steal a thing (if you chose to not steal of course) so I don't know why blaming Jane (which in my opinion is the only option that is kind of relevant) would even be an option at all considering how cool they were together and also doesn't seem like the kind of thing Clem would say. "Jane stole it", i mean thats obviously a flat out lie and happens to be the only real thing worth saying kind of. That part of the argument doesn't really make sense to me.

Only time will tell, I guess. A few interesting things to note is when he approaches you at the end, and you ask him, "What do you want,"

  • Damn how ironic it will be if Bonnie is the one who end up getting killed because of this?

My one hope for him to live is that Bonnie will vouch for him as shes been there before , so if he lives bonnie lives too

  • Bonnie is a waste of space imo.

People said this kind of stuff about Bonnie after Episode 2 and now everyone is ok with her. So wait and see.

  • I do think he is redeemable, keep in mind this completely biased though because I like his accent. But in all seriousness yes I do think that he has potential as a character, however if he becomes like Ben and keeps screwing up and being a coward I'm going to be over his character real fast.

  • yeah, i wanted jane to kill him, but there wasn't a "kill him" dialogue option (obvious why now) so i stayed silent, but it would have made things much better if she did

I hate him. If only Jane would have pulled the trigger this problem would have been solved.
