I'm sure I'll get over it, I mean I hated Bonnie with a passion (as much as you can towards a video game) but now I really like Bonnie's character and would be sad if she dies in the next episode. I'm still peeved that Luke was to busy "feeling human" with Jane to do his job, especially since he can defend having sex with Jane while he was supposed to be doing his job. The part that is really frustrating though is the way he talks infront of Clem, since I'm sure she knows what he's talking about when he says "Jane made a offer".
I think the reason why people forgave Kenny more easily was because we can understand where he's coming from, since we've known him since season 1, and seen him lose his family before, so him snapping at Clem like that was just "good ol' Kenny" to some people. Whereas with Luke... we weren't given much of an opportunity to understand his mindset or where he was coming from, and this is the first time we've seen him at his worst, so most people obviously didn't expect that out of Luke, and find it harder to forgive him as a result.
A lot of us forgave Kenny for yelling at an 11 year old girl, myself included, and i'm not even sure why. But it's only fair that he gets forgiveness as well.
Good point, he very well could have brought a child into this world. The walking dead does not need anymore children to be born just to be brutally murdered. Besides, Jane pregnant?!! Please!
I didn't justify my hate because I'm tired of repeating the same thing. I'm slightly annoyed that you look at me, judge me, and then steroty… morepe me with the other Kenny fanboys who joke about him being Jesus and not respecting other people's opinions. But if you want me to justify my hate then fine, I will. Lets see how many downvotes I can get for stating my opinion, as always.
I can't forgive Luke because he's reckless. He should have thought about what he was doing, he should have turned Jane down. But he didn't. He thought it was a good idea to get his dick wet when he should have been checking the perimeter for walkers. Because of this, we were unprepared. Someone could have died and he would have indirectly caused it. On top of that, he knew fully well that Rebecca was due to go into labour since her waters had broken. By having sex with Jane, he could have ended up bringing another goddamn child into this unforgiving world. I don't ca… [view original content]
First off - it's a little strange that Jane somehow manages to get a free pass from all this rage; it takes two to tango after all.
Secondly though - I have no ill will towards Luke or Jane.
Jane was far and away the most enjoyable character of episode 4. Luke was simply human - also hadn't his job technically changed to come check up on Jane and Clem - and so not actually checking the perimeter anymore.
And finally, just because I can, this is all Kenny's fault anyway. If he hadn't flaked out completely and gone all whiny about Clem doing all the right things, he could've helped scout the perimeter, thus securing the observation deck earlier, thus enabling Rebecca to be moved there earlier, thereby not only making the job of securing the perimeter easier, but also removed the chance for Luke and Jane to have sex - at least on the observation deck.
Ps: No I don't technically blame Kenny for Luke having sex with Jane
Luke .... Sigh. No, I don't want him around. Honestly after this episode, I'm more in the Bonnie/Mike side of things. At least they seem to be more about the group even if they are incapable of making decisions.
My biggest gripe with Luke is that he could have waited a couple hours then done Jane for a week straight. GOOD ON YA BOY. Can't keep it in your pants or say no until we're all safe? What happens the next time a pretty girl comes around?
Say what you want about Kenny and him going crazy but he wouldn't do that. And I don't even like Kenny.
I'll forgive him.. But I'm going to be strict about it, "You ever do that shit again, I'm leaving you behind.." Something to that sort, but I'm sure it won't happen again. Especially because we won't have a group! Unless for some heavenly reason all the characters get a divine shield and survive the shoot out..
Luke decided to get his rocks at a terrible time. It was HIS idea to even go on watch, then he's to be forgiven for dropping the ball? I wasted my effort saving Sarah, only to turn around and get her killed like two hours later lol.
Nope.
Luke decided to get his rocks at a terrible time. It was HIS idea to even go on watch, then he's to be forgiven for dropping the ball? I wasted my effort saving Sarah, only to turn around and get her killed like two hours later lol.
Not until he does something actually useful. This is like the third time he's tried to help, only to screw up royally. And even if I do forgive him I don't think I'll ever like him as much as I did before.
Jane can´t complain because part of becoming pregnant is mostly her fault for making the offer, and other minor part of it is Luke´s fault for accepting. In my opinion most of you guys are looking for reasons to bash Luke more than he deserves, he makes mistakes like everyone, for example at how people just blames him when good part of this fuck up is Jane´s fault too. She was a member of the group at the time and should be compromised for its well-being like everyone else.
Good point, he very well could have brought a child into this world. The walking dead does not need anymore children to be born just to be brutally murdered. Besides, Jane pregnant?!! Please!
ill forgive him but i will never forget about it. "hey luke remember when you risked the whole group to fill your 'needs'? yea let the adults talk before you open your mouth"
"How do I know he won't fuck up again in general some other time? What if he gets someone killed?"
EVERYONE in the group are humans, they aren´t perfect so they can make mistakes at any time, including major mistakes that could lead to avoidable deaths, so the answer for your question is "We can´t be sure" not just for Luke´s case, but for EVERYONE. Luke fucked up but it didn´t even had so drastic consequences and even so people are condemning him to hell, totally ignoring Jane´s part on it. Even Clementine fucked up when she trusted the Stranger and got people killed, and Kenny, well... we have a list of them.
Conclusion: The haters, which usually are Kenny fanboys, are just taking this fuck up to bash him a lot more than he deserves.

Yes,Luke didn't help and just "messed around" with Jane, but actualy Kenny was juust making a scene, acting like he is Mr.Perfect and blaming everything on Luke. So yes, I will forgive him,2 years of zombie apocalypse with no relashionship might be bad for him.
Reason the consequence's for Luke actions weren't to extreme is because Kenny was there to save everyone's ass. Funny how you stereotype Kenny fans as haters yet here you are....

There's an interesting facet to Luke's dynamic with Clementine in that the paradigms shift as the episodes progress. After Clementine proves her capability she gradually becomes his equal, then in the last episode, completely eclipses him. Kenny sees himself as the most natural fit for leading the group and Luke displays plenty of virtue, but it's Clementine who has become the spiritual chief in command.
Oh, but to answer the question of this topic, I don't think Luke has much to repent for. His errors in judgement would be minor if not in a world where every little decision is grossly exaggerated because everything has more or less gone to shit.
I don´t even know why did you bring up Kenny´s relevance in this episode when what i am discussing is that everyone had made mistakes before, including Kenny.
Kenny got his shit together and actually helped the group with the baby, i give him credit for that, but Kenny fucked up other times too. Luke fucked up now and people(haters) are taking this chance to condemn him as much as they can, but he was useful other times as well.
I don´t get your point, i just criticized the Kenny fanboys, like you, and not Kenny himself. Kenny´s superiority over Luke in this specific situation never was the point here. If Kenny did make up for Luke´s mistake, well, credits for Kenny, but it doesn´t matter for the fact that Luke´s mistake didn´t end so badly.
Reason the consequence's for Luke actions weren't to extreme is because Kenny was there to save everyone's ass. Funny how you stereotype Kenny fans as haters yet here you are....
Am I missing something here? Because I believe if there's someone to blame, it's Jane. She made the offer in the first place, Luke was just vulnerable at the moment, which I think was understable after all the things they had been through. But hell, they're just humans, so blaming them for such thing is kind of pointless, what's done is done.
Yet another stupid thread .Forgive Luke ?Forgive him for what? Do you forgive Kenny?
Luke messed up once...I'm over it.Why drag it out like this . Some fan-base ...
Before I played this episode, I accidentally read a vague spoiler that Luke did something horrible that totally changed everyone's opinion on him. So this whole episode I went thinking something terrible was gonna happen, like he was gonna kill the baby or be in cahoots with the Russians. Then it turned out just to be him and Jane bumping uglies and I was like seriously? That's it?
I understand why some people blame Luke for Sarah's death. If walkers hadn't followed them up the deck stairs, they wouldn't have pushed the cannon and the deck wouldn't have broken. But even if Luke had been there to warn them about the walkers, they would have headed to the observation deck anyways since Rebecca was already in labor. The herd could have still come up those steps (especially with Rebecca screaming during labor) and the deck could have still broken.
So yeah, I forgive him. Yeah it was stupid. Luke's an idiot but that's a genuinely interesting part of his character. Plus he bounced right back into trying to help and protect everyone, so it seemed he was sorry as well. Not for what he did, but for the fact that he let his group down.

Well she kind of got herself killed by not moving away.. I see what you're saying but some people are more forgiving.

Whatever Bonnie has Mike...
And yes all is forgiven, I am a very forgiving and forgetful person. ( ͡* ͜ʖ ͡*)
ill forgive him but i will never forget about it. "hey luke remember when you risked the whole group to fill your 'needs'? yea let the adults talk before you open your mouth"

I would have done it also but not at the time where he's supposed to be lookout when a herds coming and risking the group....
I'm that dude. You're welcome.
You're the right dude![:D :D](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)

Unless if a member of TeamBike gets killed because of something they do... then its Saltlicking time...
It's not the fact Luke did it , it's the timing is what makes people want to kill him...
Oh yeah, especialy when rebecca having the baby and he was the one who was supposed to guard,he is still one of my favorites tho

If people have forgave Ben for indirectly killing Kenny's family we can forgive Luke for fucking someone.
Don't worry, I'm sure TT will give Luke the chance to make up for his mistake...

This hate everybody has is probably temporary just look at all the hat Bonnie got in episode 2 then in episode 3 most (not all) people liked her
Completely agree. Maybe I'm just a lil more spiteful than others here, but that's just my perspective on the situation

We find Jane leaves a few hours afterwards anyway so all I can say is Luke was lucky to get it on when he could.
Fair play.

Of course I forgive him, he is human, humans commit errors sometime.
Yep, I forgive him. I'm still mad at Kenny, though.... ready for downvotes
I gave him a high five.
He didn't fuck up only once.
He's dead, who cares?
