Could this happen to Clem at the end of 205?

I hope this doesn't happen to Clem.

Joel could be Kenny because he's close to Clem like Joel's close to Sarah

Tommy could be Luke because he cares about Clem like Tommy cares about Clem.

Luke and Kenny are like brothers fighting.

So my theory is could Clem end up like this?

  • Don't give Telltale any ideas!!!!!!!!

  • The script was already written, so there's no changes. 4 more weeks of voice overs for the episode. I just hope Clem doesn't go down like this.

  • I think Telltale won't rip off from a much lamer game.

  • Well anything can happen really, it IS The Walking Dead universe after all.

  • Woah their The Last of Us definitely wasn't lame.

  • Well since TLOU Sarah's death was to set up Joel's inner demons that he has to fight through to deal with Ellie, I can see how it made sense from a character development perspective.

Similarly, I could see Rebecca's baby dying for Clem and maybe Kenny character development/ pushing Clem further into despair. Mind you, this isn't how I want the story to go; I feel it would be cheap thrill to kill of Rebecca's baby. But Clem? Her death like this wouldn't make sense in the context of both seasons.

I doubt they'd blatantly copy another game, especially one released rather recently. If they do, then they're just setting themselves up for people ragging no matter how good the scene stolen was. You don't do that crap. There's no faster way to make people lose faith in a company.

  • It was basically Uncharted: ZA Edition.

Woah their The Last of Us definitely wasn't lame.

  • The gameplay was absolutely atrocious

Woah their The Last of Us definitely wasn't lame.

  • They can rewrith the script if they want but I don't think it is the best idea to do it now

I don't think they will do that. Like I said they can rewrith stuff but now no! and alot of people will be pissed off and a totall rip off

  • Nooooooo. They would NOT kill Clem, that would be the dumbest thing Telltale could do.

  • No it's not

Lame? Guess you're another one of those people who call TLOU overated?! This game is a masterpiece.

  • This is a TWDG forum... people are biased towards it and mindlessly hate on TLOU because it's in the same genre and they see it as 'competition'.

Apparently people aren't allowed to like anything other than TWDG or even discuss anything else, which is incredibly stupid and close-minded.

Woah their The Last of Us definitely wasn't lame.

  • Ya pretty much I've noticed that alot lately

  • They wont kill her. I'm 100% sure. She will live till season 3 and maybe beyond as the main protagonist.

  • There's no way she'll be killed off, she at least has a couple more seasons (I hope)

I think we finally might get a 'happy ending'; Clem goes to Wellington, Christa is there, Kenny and she have an emotional reunite moment, the baby is still alive, Wellington is full of nice people...but then after credits scene starts rolling and it shows something very fucked up and worrying and well.. there goes the happy ending.

  • Eddie will be the protagonist of season 3, he seems to have gained an unexplainably high populairity here on the forums after all.

  • Don't you remember what Jane said before leaving... Everyone's luck runs out. Foreshadow perhaps...

  • i have to agree TLOU was overrated. I felt like the whole game was pointless at the end, and that Joel robbed me, Ellie and everyone else a chance at saving the world. I felt cheated, like everything i went through was for nothing. However i do agree with your theory, it could happen, the feels in this series have been weak.

  • Killing Clem for the 'character development' of Luke will just make him universally hated.

I'm convinced that episode 5 will see the proper end of Kenny, dying slowly before Clementine's eyes but allowing her and Rebecca's son to survive in Wellington. Despite resembling the Governor in looks and having a few parallels with Carver, I doubt we'll see Kenny end up becoming another community leader. His fixation on Rebecca's son shows that he hasn't learned anything from Sarita's death.

My feeling is that Wellington is a stable place run by sane people, but constantly beset by weather problems, bandit attacks, and starvation. It'd be a 'safe haven', but fit only for those strong or crazy enough to survive the journey there.

The game is really good, but the ending was kinda shitty. Therefore,it's not a masterpiece.

  • That child isn't going making it. It is a goner. They won't make it to wellington, without the aid of time travel, i just don't see them going through Ohio during the winter. Wellington is such a bad idea, i don't know why you would want to travel another month on foot in the wintertime for hopes of some place better. When we all know what hope will buy you in the ZA.

  • Clementine dying would be predictable, but dying to further Kenny's angst just as Katjaa and Sarita has? That would be jumping the shark, and I don't think Telltale would be stupid enough to do that.

  • One of the achievements, "We Slowly Drove", hints at a car trip/time-skip to the "terminus" (end of the road). This implies a time-skip, which I think is a really bad idea for an ending episode.

It could just mean that Episode 5 ends in the town glimpsed in Episode 4.

  • Fact: the girl who voice acted sarah in last of us is the walking dead tv series Carl's actor, Chandler rigg's girlfriend.

  • I dunno if you've played TWAU Episode 2 and after but the script was completely rewritten after episode 1. Just because a script is finished doesn't mean the story is safe.

  • Joel did save the world. Ellie meant the world to him; and he saved her world. If you had a daughter would you sacrifice her to save the world if that meant that she had to die for it? No more smiles, no more happiness, no more of anything for her because she'd be dead. Is that what you would wish for your child? People can avoid dying from zombies if they were cautious. The world can be saved even without a cure. You just have to wipe out the rest of the infected in order to do that. Ellie didn't need to die for that to happen.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

  • Needs of many outweigh the needs of few. And, besides, evading zombies is not permanent as a a solution, a cure from the virus, however, is. World cannot be saved by acting careful, eventually even the most careful survivors will succumb to the world's danger.

I'm not arguing I would have personally sacrificed a loved one for the sake of humanity, probably because I wouldn't have a stomach for it, but having a cure, that would save everyone, outweighs just one life that needs to be sacrificed for it.
