Strange. I didn't like Jane as soon as she starting fighting with Rebecca. I still hate her. My favorite characters are Sarah and Carlos. But, I like Mike. Clementine too, of course.
Wow... I must be playing this game completley different... pretty much Sarah just got on my nerves and never even came close to being my fav… moreorite character.... I love Jane,Clem and Mike( he reminds me of Lee).... amazing how people can view the game so differently.... beauty
stop lying most people who hate the characters this much watch the game in lps. It wasn't necessary or mature at all to call sarah a "little bitch" and the way you've said it you're probably a crazy psychopath stupid preteen.
Since amid the ruins was released I unfortunately encountered many Sarah haters and all of them never had solid arguments as to why they hated her. I was shocked at first to see all this hatred people had towards an innocent and mentally fragile young girl that had just lost her dad. But I've sadly come to accept that we just don't think the same and not everyone has a big heart. It's your own problem if you don't like Sarah and didn't care that she died, however to actually be happy about it and celebrate her death (which was probably the most horrible and gruesome one we ever saw in the game) is something entirely different and it's pretty disturbing I think. It's jus not right even if it's just a videogame character, it's not okay to take pleasure in seeing a child die like that no matter what you think about that person. And by the way, Sarah never actually did anything wrong in the game, she even helped Clem in episode 1.
Yes guys anyone that is weaker than Clem must die, I really don't care if they have a mental illness or anxiety problems, they must die. Even if they do have good morals
It's fine if you disliked her but if it's at a point where you're laughing at her death or calling her a "bitch" or useless, then it's obvious you haven't played the game yourself or you're immature as hell.
I'll have to disagree with that bens death in episode 4 looks like one of the worse way to go down (at least Sarah didn't break her legs then get chomped)
Thank the writers for that one, they so happily abused the power they had in your favor. I knew this would happen, the rejoice of hate. I really loathe the new writers who treated her that way. Not the tiniest bit of redemption for the character after all that. Such amazing buildup for absolutely nothing.
They bent over before the foolish side of the forums, Kenny gets all the development while Luke gets even more character flaws. Sarita dies just for Kenny drama, remaining as a flat slate of unfulfilled potential. Nick is killed offscreen because they did not care about his struggles - he is not Kenny after all. Sarah is railroaded to die horribly no matter what you choose, for them she was nothing but a nuisance, like how many saw Ben, weak, not like Kenny and Jane, the embodiments of badass who obviously would survive alone in the apocalypse no matter how much risks they take. Rebecca dies almost immediately after completing her plot purpose - give KENNY will to live again.
And Jane, Molly 2.0 gets a free pass and lives, because badass independent loner chicks are hot.
Mumblemumblemumble. I am indeed still bitter.
Please Telltale, fire the people responsible for the writing of Episode 4. If we have these people around during Season 3, more great characters will be destroyed while the writers' "personal favorites" live on with their death shields. Get professional once more, please.

Second of all, she's innocent, putting someones life on the line not on purpose doesnt mean you're not innocent.
All of you sarah haters are sick, maybe you're just happy that the group has one less liability, but some of you are happy that an innocent, broken down 15 year old died.
Then again, this game figuares out how to inject insanity into your bloodstream, so i can't blame anyone happy someone died
First of all, she clearly wasn't happy, she was an idiot. Second, she wasn't "innocent", "innocents" don't put other people's lives in dange… morer. She wanted to die and she deserved to die. And I have to children, neither of them are idiots like her. My children wouldn't do the stupid shit like her, so yeah.
Sarah's annoying, but she had the possibility to grow up like Clem, and if we had a Chuck 2.0 we could have had a Clementine 2.0, but telltale just killed her off while Mike,Bonnie,Luke, and Jane were playing rock paper scisscors up on the deck.
It's fine if you disliked her but if it's at a point where you're laughing at her death or calling her a "bitch" or useless, then it's obvious you haven't played the game yourself or you're immature as hell.
We have:
Ben 2.0 (Nick)
Duck 2.0 (Sarah)
Lee 2.0 (Mike)
Katjaa 2.0 (Sarita)

Katjaa: Sarita is kenny's replacment for her.
Ben: Nick is always screwing up and was seen being stupid at multiple times even tho i feel for the guy
Lee: Mike is like Lee in a number of ways. Especially the Urban
Duck: Sarah is really annoying but helps you during the game and does nothing wrong.
Duck is so much smarter than Sarah. Look how he figured out the crime scene about the missing med in Episode 3. He was enthusiastic, and wanted to help Lee solve the case as Robin. Duck is also like 8 years old, where Sarah is twice as old as him.

Ben 2.0 (Nick)

Yeah. Few people are critical of Carlos for being so close-minded and self-righteous about his paternalistic attitude. He was willing to let a little girl possibly die rather than let Sarah see another child, and has the gall to threaten Clem when she calls him out on his mistake. Sarah was a socially retarded, physically inept woman-child because Carlos refused to move on. Since she was 13 when the apocalypse happened yet acts like an 8 year old, I get the sense that she was highly sheltered long before civilization collapsed.
For contrast, Christa is introduced after the 16-month skip by telling Clem that the girl needs to learn how to hunt and cook for herself, with her lines implying a certain fear that she would die before Clem without teaching her enough to survive. Carlos' unwillingness to ever let her experience pain, while well-intentioned, gave her a mental shock when Carver made him hurt her with the misguided notion that "pain teaches". Carlos didn't seem to consider the possibility that Sarah would ever be separate from him, which backfires when he dies and two whole years-worth of trauma is thrown upon Sarah in the space of a few days.
Sarah did show a willingness to learn and resist her father's smothering benevolence, but was simply not given enough time to recover. She hasn't been allowed to adjust to horrors as Clem had been. She doesn't have the years of experience that the adult survivors have. Her behavior is due to circumstances that she hadn't been allowed to control, and there isn't much criticism of the fact that two authoritarian men messed her up.
On a side note, I'd say that Nick is the male equivalent to Sarah and an example of how 'manning up' doesn't work for all men. Pete claims that he constantly gave Nick a hard time because he 'loved' him and wanted to make him 'grow up', yet he apparently never explained that to Nick. Nick, once a sensitive young boy, becomes a hot-tempered alcoholic nihilist because he's expected to take on a role that his personality just couldn't adapt to. In the same way, Carver's use of violence as discipline evidently doesn't work on improving the performance of a scared person - it just makes them more paranoid and unstable.
People defend Kenny for throwing a tantrum and attacking Mike, causing zombies to break through the defenses. Yet I've seen a lot of people have no sympathy for Sarah for sticking to herself and freezing up when her beloved father hurts her for the first time - this not long after she just saw Carver murder a good man, threaten Alvin and Clem/Sarita, and torture her father. Yeah, I might be inclined not to work for such a slime-ball.
I'll reiterate that Kenny attacking Mike out of pride caused zombies to invade the compound, and that was defended by many fans. Yet the same 'courtesy' isn't applied to when Sarah fails to snap out of her state of shock and cut berries, prompting Carver to overreact and kill a man.
Violent over-reactions are glorified, crying isn't. Pain and self-pity is acceptable when men do it, yet not when sheltered girls do it. I really do wonder if this is because a lot of the vocal fans are young men themselves?
Duck is so much smarter than Sarah. Look how he figured out the crime scene about the missing med in Episode 3. He was enthusiastic, and wanted to help Lee solve the case as Robin. Duck is also like 8 years old, where Sarah is twice as old as him.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Sarah, and she was kind of annoying sometimes, but, like Duck, when their time came, I felt so shocked and saddened. You end up realizing you really cared for them.
Sometimes I found her annoying, but I also felt sorry for her and was sad that she died, especially the way she did. My Clem did save her in the trailer, but on the deck I misunderstood the situation and thought I had to choose between saving her and Jane. I picked Jane that time, because I got the impression that Sarah was too far away for Clem to be able to do anything for her.
If you had children then you would understand, and you would feel obligated to look out for Sarah. Innocent is a person who does actions without the intension to harm, so yeah... That...
First of all, she clearly wasn't happy, she was an idiot. Second, she wasn't "innocent", "innocents" don't put other people's lives in dange… morer. She wanted to die and she deserved to die. Well, really fun to fight with Sarah-Haters, they just ignore what we say and respond with; "I h8 SaRAH, 'cause SHE suCks and she's diffeRENT fRom the othEr pERSONS, sO I wiSh with all my heart A viDeogame character (Sarah) dIED. LOLz!!1!!1"
no. shes a tard for being in a somewhat safe spot and yelling at the top of her lungs drawing all the zombies to the trailer. even when zombies busted in she was just sitting there.
I disliked Sarah all season. At first she came off as this spoiled annoying brat, but then it was clear it's not her fault but her fathers for his over-protectiveness which created this helpless lamb in a world of wolves.... walking dead wolves.
Clementine had no duty to her, to protect her, to risk her own life for her. Nor for anyone else in that group, for that matter since E1S2, and the hostility she was treated with. Apologies later on are pointless, when they were willing to let her die or even kill her, instead of lending a hand when she was wounded and in need of help. - that's why I usually sided with Kenny. He has proven his loyalty in S1 and surviving this long after what he went trough - that's a man you have to respect, in times like that.
So, like my Lee told Clementine in his dying moments: trust nobody.... and like Jane said: don't let them pull you down with them.
Also, for the people who try to pull similarities between S1 Clem and Sarah - there are little to none. Clementine was not an overly sheltered girl. She was rational, level headed and a quick learner. Sure in the beginning she was very scared and seemed helpless, but she was never one to have panic attacks, or to put anyone in danger, even by accident. She had great potential to survive as opposed to Sarah who had very little considering her deficits.

It was also his fault that she would cease to function. Carlos never showed Sarah how to take care of herself without him there.
i felt nothing when she died other than shock followed by the words "really?"
Who is more lost Sarah, or Anikan?
Don't be hating on the Indian accent, man. x)
ME 2!!!
I receive emails from older people. Sometimes they would be in ALL CAPS, i would just sit and laugh for a few minutes.
WHAT DOES THIS GIF EVEN MEAN!
I LOVE THIS GIF

I played the game and don't have a high opinion on Sarah. She was a broken child.

Morals have no place in the Apocalypse.
You should see what people say when you tell them you don't like Clementine. Its funny.
It's fine if you disliked her but if it's at a point where you're laughing at her death or calling her a "bitch" or useless, then it's obvious you haven't played the game yourself or you're immature as hell.
ive noticed most of the hate for Sarah comes from new fans of the series...which says a lot.
I'll have to disagree with that bens death in episode 4 looks like one of the worse way to go down (at least Sarah didn't break her legs then get chomped)

Are you responding to me, because i didn't call her a "bitch or useless" as you put it, i said she was Broken.
I literally said "if it's at a point". I'm clearly excluding you, that's why I said it's fine if you disliked her.
Hey it isn't the apocalypse yet, put the rifle down. I'm friendly.... Sometimes
Ben 2.0 (Nick) Wrong
Duck 2.0 (Sarah) Wrong
Lee 2.0 (Mike) Pls stop
Katjaa 2.0 (Sarita) fairly true kudos

R.I.P Sarah she was my BFF in the game i can't forget her death when she called out for her dad

Well i saw her as a burden, but when i left her at the house, climbed up, and actually saw her get devoured.. Man, I still feel guilty..
I'm saying similarities not age or smartness.
Sarah is childish and annoying.
Ring a bell? Duck

That depends on how you see them. I never found Duck nor Sarah to be annoying.
me either,

It is not Jane or Sarah. Jane lives regardless.
