  • I think that she has a basic idea of what sex is but she doesn't understand the concept of casual sex and when she asked Jane about Luke I think that she thought that they were trying to have a baby.

When Jane is leaving, Clem has the option to say "...Aren't you and Luke..." then Jane will say something like "No, it's not like that, and it will never be like that". So I think she knew.

  • I would think at some point in her travels with Christa and Omid, she got the talk. I don't think Christa would've left her in the dark about that kinda stuff, I mean especially since she was pregnant.

  • Yes.. They were playing patty cake. I dont know why nobody understands this

I mean. Christa and Omid played patty cake in the bathroom

  • Luke and Jane were getting funky

Wait.... what were Luke and Jane doing?

    She knew.

  • Didn't think of that :P

"Knows what he meant". I don't think she thought of the ... Adult vertion or that line. xD I think she though of the literal"I'd eat the actual shit out of that raccoon."

  • I can see Christa having "the talk" with Clem, for some reason.

  • She must off. I mean she wouldn't think they were cuddling.

  • humans only animal on earth whom does out of greed and the unnecessary then necessity. Wonder if its because its just the downside of having a certain amount of intelligence for our kind.

I think Telltale left that to the player...do you want your Clem to know or not?

    Mine does ;)

  • lol yeah. Supposedly Bonnie laughed at the adult one, and clem laughed at the regular one.

Wait there's an adult version of this line? I always thought about the literal shit.

  • It's probably because I'm only 12 years old, but what do you mean by the adult one? I can't think of any sexual meaning of this phrase.

  • loooll Id rather not be the one to tell you. xD you're too young to know what I mean by adult version. xD you'll find out, one day.

i doubt it, i didn't know what sex was until i was traumatized in health class by that wonderful video of babies being born. Since one girl got pregnant at the middle school, they decided to scare every kid senseless with that gross health video.

  • clementine should just ask them one by one lol just to fuck with them

I live in Australia too, but for me Primary School was prep to Grade 6, and I kinda consider Collage and High School the same thing because you're technically going to the same school.

But to be honest, I hated Primary School at an older age. I got held back because of a house fire and so I was 12 in Grade 6, but we couldn't even say 'crap', and not get in trouble. We got treated like five-year-olds.

Also, the first time I remember anyone at school talking about sex was in Grade 6, but I already knew it all anyway lol

I live in Australia, things are different here. there is primary school, high school, collage and then Uni. Primary school goes from Prep t

I figure Clementine must know where babies come from, given there's all these pregnant women she keeps seeing about, so she must know the stork doesn't just go and deliver them [come on, even Christa must've said something on that.]

Personally when I look at that scene, I get the impression Clem in that instance just didn't understand why Luke and Jane were sitting there snuggily together. It seemed like her annoyed/confused reaction was one of "Why are you both just siting there? Why aren't you on watch? There are walkers everywhere now!" rather than a "I swear if Luke junior is on the way and I've got another little sibling to care for, I am done with you people!" reaction.

Also there's an option later where you can have Clementine say "Luke didn't do anything wrong." and I can't remember it exactly, but I think Kenny says something like "I'll talk with you later." Now clearly Luke did do something wrong, but for Clem to say it like that, it just makes me think she didn't get it, that maybe she thought Luke and Jane were simply sitting down talking and was annoyed at the fact they were 'taking a break' rather than keeping an lookout for walkers.

Again, I still think Clem must have some knowledge of where babies come from, but in that moment her young mind just didn't connect the dots,

Edit: Plus Clem saying "Aren't you guys..." to Jane on asking 'what about Luke?' to the woman leaving might've been her assuming they liked each other with how close they were sitting together, or maybe she thought they were K-I-S-S-I-N-G than P-O-R-K-I-N-G.

  • This all makes perfect sense now. Thank you for sharing.
