How long will Kenny survive?

So I've been thinking seeing as to how Kenny has survived almost the longest from season 1 till now how long do you guys think Kenny will live? Do you think he'll be in season 3?.

  • I hope not. His return has shown how little there is to the character now, or rather, how little deviation Telltale is willing to give him. I'd rather not have him hogging all the spotlight again in season 3 from more deserving characters.

  • This.

I like Ken, and he's had more time in the spotlight than any other character than Clem.

Telltale needs to move on, and it's being heavily implied that in episode 5 they will.

Then the small percentage of non reasonable kenny fans that plague the forums need to move on. That'll be harder, but by the time season 3 comes out they will either have left in disgust or accepted it.

I definitely wouldn't mind if he is. I started to have some problems with him in episode three, but they were erased with episode four. One might argue his time is up and other characters should have time in the spotlight, but you cannot deny Kenny adds something to the game, and none of the current characters could replace him entirely.

No... Kenny has had 2 seasons to shine. I like him but I think No Going Back will be where we say our farewells, especially if the baby dies then he has no reason to keep living. He will be happier with Duck, Katjaa, and Sarita up in boat heaven.

  • Haha, Katjaa AND Sarita

That won't be at all awkward

  • If TELLTALE has some sense, he won't make it to season 3.

  • You forgot the period at the end of the sentence.

Ahh, I see the KDB (Kenny Downvote Brigade) are launching an offensive on this thread!

Gosh, mentioning Kenny possibly dying due to the fact that he isn't immortal is like throwing a stone into a wasps' nest on these forums.

    EDIT: quod erat demonstrandum.

  • I do that when I type casually. I use full stops when I'm actually making serious points.

You forgot the period at the end of the sentence.

  • Is that a joke because I overload on periods? Yeah, it's a habit.

You forgot the period at the end of the sentence.

  • As much as I would like to believe it. Somehow I doubt telltale will pull the same trick twice. But, you never know. Strange things happen at sea. He could get lucky again.

  • "Jesus, are you fucking kidding me?!?"

If TELLTALE has some sense, he won't make it to season 3.

  • What is a 'offensive' on this thread? It is offense not offensive. You have used the term wrong.

  • I think Kenny has a good shot at being in Season 3. Though I can't see him being needlessly killed off. I can only see Kenny bring killed in some form of noble sacrifice.

Clem has been around since season one and survived all this time, so why can't Kenny? If he gets killed it better be bloody amazing and a badass death because killing off a character just because "He has been there too long" is kind of stupid.

  • so you fucking mean that a man like ken wont survive to season 3 is nonsense ????!!! so if you think like that then if clem survived to season 3 thats mean nonsense i dont think he will die in season 2 he is a lucky basterd XD

If TELLTALE has some sense, he won't make it to season 3.

  • Kenny is my favorite jerk.

    Umm, no I haven't.

'Launching an offensive' is a well known phrase. Google it.

Offensive is both a noun and an adjective.

    offensive
    əˈfɛnsɪv

    noun
    1.
    an attacking military campaign.
"an impending military offensive against the guerrillas"

It means they are attacking it en masse through their favourite medium: downvotes.

  • PIZZA AND ICE CREAM LADIES AND GENTS

    YOU CANNOT HAVE BOTH.

  • Kenny's chance for a heroic death has already came and went. He's either going die a villain in ep5 or survive into season 3, IMO.

  • Then everyone will be like "#CHRISTACONFIRMEDFORSEASON3"

Don't you know? The thicker Kenny's facial hair becomes, coupled with his ever growing redneck rage, has given him the gift of immortality.

  • Ah Nate, I love that perverted psychopath.:')

  • "Kenny won't abandon us."

Kenny and Luke definitely won't die from the gun fight. They have been putting a Kenny vs. Luke since 202, TTG wouldn't just kill that off.

Though it is possible for Kenny to die in S2, but i have a feeling that he'll make it to S3. I'm gonna trust what my gut tells me and it tells me Kenny's confirmed for S3!

  • I think Kenny will be the longest running character IMO, and I can see him being there till the end of the game or maybe die and episode or too before the finale......I'm calling it now lol.... Wishful thinking?

  • Careful on the telltale forums if you show interest in Nate, people might try to get you on that watch list.

  • I'm not sure. I fear Kenny will at any given moment, just give up. He instinctively knows he has to survive, but we all know he doesn't want to. Considering how crazy things gets at the beginning and end of an episode, he will mostly perish in episode 5. It's a sad thought.
