How do you play your Clementine
My Clem is mostly friendly towards people who are kind to her,(Luke, Walter, and Matthew) very hostile towards people who talk her down(Rebecca in EP1, Carver and Troy) always tells the truth(Told Walter about Matthew) Doesn't like to quit,(Went to find Kenny in EP2) and if she hates you enough, she will revenge for what you did.(Watched Carver die)
So how did you play Clem?

I play my Clem mostly friendly. If people treat her like shit, then i treat them like shit, because no one treats Clem like shit without getting something back (Rebecca in episode 'Whose baby is it?' Carver in episode 3 'I wish Kenny had killed you' because he hit Clem in my playthrough. Mostly i play badass Clem, because it's fun to see Clem as a badass. I usually try to calm things down if people is arguing. I try to stay on Kenny's side as much as i can, because he's Clem's friend, and i trust him more than anyone else.

I play Clem as if Lee were watching
with a bit of sass
Damn right.

i play as if i was in clems shoes. i dont want to be sassy, because thats not who i am in real life.
I try to play her as I did with my Lee.
my clementine is the same but she doesn't pick sides she trys to tell it how it is if two people are being assholes she will say so

Overall my Clem has a kind heart, but a survivalist mind. The trick is trying to play Clem how we want but being limited by Telltale's story/choices.
I was prepared to let Arvo go on his own way, but it was obvious he was lieing about a sick sister and my group really could use the drugs.. So I was hoping Jane would have killed him. Because she didn't, Arvo was able to return with his group in the end.
I made the decisions I would make myself if I was in that particular situation.
What were your choices then? I'm curious.
"We shouldn't take stuff from that wagon. What if the owners come back?"
"Ben is nice. He's my friend. We don't leave friends behind!" - That's my Clem.
Hasn't let go of her humanity yet. Tried to save Sarah twice, and didn't steal from Arvo.
BUT, did you watch Carver die?
This is exactly why I hate to play as Clem. Because you don't know if your decisions and choices should be based on you as a person or as a kid in the apocalypse.
Well, to try to make this short, I did what the majority of people did in most of the choices. I saved Carley, tried to help Larry, killed Danny out of rage, didn't steal from the wagon, shot Duck myself, had Kenny kill the boy in the attic, left Lilly behind, cut my arm off, and had Clem shoot Lee. I obviously forgot a lot but wanted to keep it short.
My Clem is nice to everyone, except for people like Troy or Carver. My Clem is honest to those that she can trust like Bonnie, Kenny, Mike, and Luke. My Clem though does have a bit of sass, but Sassy is a good trait to have.
Kind to everyone, including even Troy and Carver. Sometimes I picked sides solely for the point of agreeing with someone. I've found that I'm also using silent options much more than S1 or TWAU.
Just trying to stay as closest as I can to Clem's S1 character. As long as Telltale gives me the options, anyways.
That I did. I felt like it would make her stronger. It's not like she hasn't seen bad stuff before. Carver's death was necessary because he himself said he would come after the group again if he were left alive, even willing to kill the baby rather than letting it escape again. I didn't think Kenny would go that overboard, but she had to understand that killing Carver was inevitable at that point.
She has to be strong, and not be afraid of violence when necessary, but still care and be loyal to the people close to her, holding onto her humanity. Kinda like Christa and Lee.
As Lee said to her once : "Fear is what will get you killed. Do not be afraid. You're gonna see bad stuff, but you're strong, Clem."
My Lee was always brutally honest with her about the apocalypse. He never sugarcoated anything.
I watched it out of pure vengeance.
Ruthless and cold, exactly how she's supposed to be.
Just like Carver huh?
I don't have a problem with Carver but not exactly like him. I only care about a few people in my group and I will help them but I don't care about anyone else. Let me give you an example, I personally didn't care about Sarah because she was stupid and annoying as fuck. But I played Clem as being sorta, kinda helpful to her at times when necessary, but am always honest and tell her stuff even if it makes her sad. But when she wouldn't budge in that home, I left her without a second thought. She was no help to me or the rest of the group and she could've left if she really wanted to live, no one needs to convince her. At her age she needs to be more mature, seriously.
Well I slapped the shit of her and that got her to move, she died anyway.
I used to play her as more pragmatic and slightly abrasive. Now, I'm all about that surviving, fuck everybody BUT Clementine.
I just make choices based on what I would do in TWD. I play her as if she was me.
I didn't watch it because Carver was like " go on, watch me die, show me that you're stronger than everyone, that you are able to make your own choice" and I don't give people who are horrible and are ruthless to others to get their way. Plus, I wanted to show him that I don't give two cents about him by leaving his ass.
I play as if its me, Lee and clem never exist it just me
Well, every other choice I made shows I will never be like him. And he really got under my skin.
Okay, it just how I roll with my Clem.
It's cool, have a like.
I played her with the wasd keys and the left mouse button mostly..sometimes when the situation called for it i used the shift button as well.
Usually friendly, but sometimes hostile.
Clem is...struggling, and my decision reflect that. She's usually quiet and civil, but the events of season two have given her a ruthless, pragmatic streak.
I'm not a fan of the 'sassy Clem' label. She can be cold or snarky, but sassy? Just doesn't sit right.
I know my Clem is all like " YOLO, LIK I GIV A FUCK"
Two Saves.
Think it fits. Hopeful Clem gets Despairing Kenny. Despairing Clem gets Hopeful Luke.
I play my Clementine the friendly version.
I play as "Good girl Clem". Why? Because I try to act as if I was in her shoes. A little girl, surrounded by adults with guns, and a high stress zone.
In the game it doesn't matter. But if it were real life you want their sympathy. Your youth is a tool to keep you safe. In the real world under those situations the adults might feel you are more trouble than you are worth or in a bad situation they might not risk their lives to save you. Or share their food, and water.
Some like to play as "badass clem" because that's how they wish they could act. In the real world that girl would be dead. She wouldn't gain respect. The adults would think she was an arrogant little girl who was going to get them killed.
Well. I mostly agree with you except that last sentence.
Clementine kind of proves that she CAN be a badass. And does do alot of shit for them.
Might be more of awe that she's not an arrogant little girl whose going to get them killed. Arrogant little girl? Yes. Getting them killed? Not with those moves.
Sometimes friendly, sometimes not so friendly! I just pick what i would if i was in her situations!
