I will admit what I said was rather rude to everyone when I said it's a lot of people's faults. I said that cuz when I looked at other threads about it, there was fighting and insults and threats everywhere. I want you all to understand. I said this because I am being honest and it is the truth. Sometimes truth hurts. If you hate me for that I won't defend myself anymore. I will accept responsibility for it. I will even take a temporary ban if you guys want. I want people to look at each other, to see what they've become and what they did. To show that no one's better than the other. I want to make this place better in any way I can. I want to make this place better for all of you. I said those things in the OP because I care. I care about the people here even if I fought or didn't talk to many. We need to look at ourselves and see where've fallen and then rise above hate and start working together. We can't let our differences get the best of us here, no more. I know I might sound cheesy and dumb but I'm a guy that strives for hope.
A lot of you seem to forget some important things. Lemme me remind you what they are: Respect, Loyalty, Unity. Respect each other. Stay loyal to those around you. Unite and become a strong community.

I must have good timing, because every time I read one of these threads, I never have any idea what the posts inside are talking about. I log on here every few days to post my opinions on TWD and read others' (I used to read other boards but haven't really done so after the redesign), but I can't say that I've ever really felt much maliciousness on this forum. Maybe I'm just inclined to tune out social issues or something, but this forum actually seems like a pretty friendly place to me, at least compared to other boards I've been on.
Maybe it could be that I'm just used to it at this point. I mean it is the internet, after all. It's not all that uncommon for people to be dicks to each other here, it's happened to me more times than I can count. But this site has never felt any more hostile than any other site. Again, it feels friendlier than most.
Granted, I've been gone for a few days, and judging by the lack of the dislike button, I take it something pretty serious happened. So in that case.. I guess I'm glad I missed it?
Also, not to be too disrespectful, but if you're on a forum that's mostly full of teenagers, don't be too surprised if a little "drama" happens every now and then!
I agree that we all need to move past this. The people lumping all the Forum of the Dead Lounge people together and calling them names is not right. As I said in another thread, I had posted in the Forum of the Dead Lounge before the merge, and a lot of people there were supportive decent people, and still are. Plus I have received apologies from many who were involved, so it really is time to move on.
I've stepped down as mod, but I will be here to help out in the transition until they find someone to replace me. After that, I will be taking an extended break from the Telltale forums. I haven't decided if I will return as a regular user after that, but that's partially what the break is for.
If another moderator merges a thread in the future (and they will, since merging is a regular form of forum maintenance that happens all the time), please don't take it personally. Merging does not delete any posts, the only thing it does is add posts to a thread. No conversation is lost, people can still reply to any and all posts in the thread, and since all conversation in the thread still exists, no bonds formed need be broken.

I am one of the most active members of the lounge but I missed all the drama I just woke up logged on and the lounge was moved and closed, Jen resigned and all the hate threads.
Very few members were even involved so it sickened me seeing all the people I talk to daily here very nice people who weren't even involved receive the most terrible abuse some even left because they feared if they ever show their face again they will just receive more abuse off the whole forum for something they never DID. retarted, bullys, dumbasses, death threats etc it was sick everyone on the forum ganged up on them.
The way they never mentioned the names of the few involved it was always just LOUNGE this LOUNGE that putting us all in a bracket making very personal statements one user I never heard of for example thinks calling people retarded makes him stand up against bullying or sending death threats is ever the right thing to do.
I sent one Mod out of respect I won't mention his name 3 paragraphs PM message asking him to close a thread that went way over the line and gave quotes etc that it made some of my friends to scared to ever log in again over the abuse they received WHO WEREN'T EVEN INVOLVED.

That's when I knew this was going to explode out of proportion and the Mods would allow it
I sent Jen and made other members send apologies through PM even though I wasn't involved and recommended that users send Jen a PM of support to help her not abusing your fellow members how could that ever help in any way.
Passwordsucks is not a bad guy he just made a mistake bullying was never his intention I know him well and he never deserved death threats and no one ever deserves death threats EVER whoever sent them is sick in the head and I would recommend urgent treatment and that they send a full apology over their bullshit.
