Racoons

So, the Ep 5 Trailer came out and there were baby racoons in her tree house. You think this symbolizes anything?

  • Mike would eat the shit out of that raccoon.

  • Telltale knows everyone here likes raccoons so they put it in there to fuck with our emotions

it kinda reminds me of the racoon bonnie clem and mike found...at the civil war site

  • I think it somehow adds to the fact that ep 4's raccoons had a special meaning, althoguh I am not sure what it could possibly mean.

This is what I found on a website: Raccoon's Wisdom Includes understanding the nature of masks, disguise, dexterity, seeking guidance and confidence, questioning without fear, balancing curiosity, shape shifting, secrecy.

    There's more here: Click herehttp://www.shamanicjourney.com/article/6092/raccoon-power-animal-symbol-of-our-many-masks-dexterity

  • That raccoon is actually named Lori and it survived the entire apocalypse and you end up seeing her in season 2 episode 4. True story. The difference from a certain television show Lori is that the raccoon gives a shit where its children are...

  • I think they already had raccoon models and it's just more presumed symbolism.

  • I'M SO HYPED !!!

  • Hang on what if the raccoon's start the walker outbreak?

  • The secret origins of Rocket Raccoon, brought to you by Telltale Games.

  • The loss of her innocence and the tiny spark of the girl she was possibly still inside her. Little Alvin is the only innocence left now. Thats my theory off the top of my head

Lori cared about her children. She died so one could live.

Hey, could you please place a spoiler warning? :) Some people might not have seen the show yet.

    Edit: Thank you!

I'd eat the shit outta that Raccoon.

  • "What's the most important thing in this world? Listen, what's the one thing a guy would walk hundreds of miles to get back? Clem, it's family."

And then we've got that family of raccoons in Episode 4. So yeah, I think this is supposed to be foreshadowing. They're probably hinting at something that'll be in the ending.

You know... In some culture, somewhere and from some time period or age, raccoons represent something.

  • Sometimes a raccoon is just a raccoon

  • Raccoon is OP. Needs nerf.

I think that's what most symbolism is. Authors will include something seemingly important and fans will go apeshit to try and find hidden meanings. You can find "symbolism" in real life, if you look hard enough.

  • Oh gosh... what if it's the same Raccoon that appeared in Season 2 Episode 4?

  • What if... the Raccoon is an alien creature?

I think Luke misspoke. He meant to say, "Clem it's raccoons!"

If only someone like that already existed...

What if... the Raccoon is an alien creature?
