People of mixed race are called African American all of the time. I have no idea how you overlooked this. You do sound angry. I have no idea how when people are giving their opinions on a nonexistent character is offensive or annoying to you.
Did I say it was offensive to me? No. Was I angry? No.
Let's look at this differently, what if I kept continuously stating that your Avat… morear (next to your name) was Lilly?
Despite it not being and you give me proof, I still continuously say it's Lilly. How would you feel, tell me?
Oh,nice.Everything's slowly turning to shit in this forum.People complaining, bullying, arguing and now we can't even have the fucking jokes.J… moreust, why?
You want us to be all serious and mature on the forum or what?THIS is not a cemetery, okay?THIS is a forum,a place for people to talk about the game, have fun, stuff like that. You are making a thread complaining about people making jokes. What do you want us to do?!Just wait for the next episode to release?!
If you don't like it,then there's nothing to do about it,'kay mate? You can't tell people how to act on the forum. This is not a military school. This is a place, like I said, for people to have a good time discussing about the game and other things.

no i thought it was funny but some people don't understand that it was comedic purposes and then its offensive. like people that make fun of asian accents.
It annoys me when people are repeatedly told and maybe even given proof that she's black. But they still state that she is Asian, etc. Perhaps its just because I'm one of those people who don't like it when people say wrong facts.

And again I'm not angry at anyone, I'm not annoyed if a person mistakes Clem for Asian, etc.
I'm just 'annoyed' (can I still say that) at the people who keep posting and posting and posting, saying the wrong things over and over again. Despite having proof against them.
I didn't say you are soo wrong, just wrong,

no African- whatever country isn't the accepted term in other countries, skin colour and nationality don't have the same connection in england as it does in america, from an english perspective saying someone was african british, would mean they have dual nationality, so saying a british born black person was african british would be implying that they weren't wholly of british nationality and that wouldn't be the case for a black person born and living in britain.
if you are black you are black and if you are white you are white, and if you are british you are british, the terms aren't mixed with a so called origin of the colour of skin, because after all if you go back far enough we all originate from africa, it is only in such a young country like america that you would even think of a term like african american, italian american or even irish american because the large population movement of those origins were so recent (relatively speaking) and so few generations have passed.
basically the terms used are different enough that if an american said a british person was african british and (hypothetically) they weren't aware that americans call people with black skin "african american" they might think they were implying/asking that they were born in africa.
i hear americans proudly say (and that is a good thing) that if you live in america (legally) you are an american, but from our perspective saying someone was african american seems to somewhat negate that assertion, from an american perspective i would imagine that it doesn't seem like that at all because to americans "african" in that context mean black/brown skin, but to us (except in an american context) it means origin of birth or descent, basically mixing up nationalities when describing someone only describes their citizenship (eg. african british could mean a white person born in africa but also had british citizenship) it has nothing to do with the colour of their skin.
I actually know a lot of my friends who are African American that prefer that term. If you do not live n America than African- whatever coun… moretry. Same thing with every other race. It just kind of made me think when you said black was a race. Is yellow a race? Is red a race? White isn't even a race!

Swag.. if you don't know what we are talking about why would you come here..
No one made a big deal out of that.. again read the thread before you post..
Okay, I see your point there, but it's hard to tell whether user's do understand the joke. Technicalities aside I agree with you on this one.
race is a tough subject.
I understand, but you guys flipped this whole conversation into black vs African American thing. Why make such a big deal outta that?
Read the thread before you reply. that is all I can say..
you didn't understand me.
He's born in American
Ok I'm done. enough internet for today...
I just ignore it and still make jokes. Its best to go on posts in which people aren't screaming you are the people i will meet in hell ^_^
you can't say african-american for all black people because what if they come from somewhere else other than america.
I didn't say you are soo wrong, just wrong,

yes this is not what wanted this thread to be.
I know, but I find it annoying that someone bitches about it in a thread.
yes, that's why it's african-italian, african-mexican, african-chilenian, african-canadian. You get it now?
Sorry for this little spat here, I just don't want people putting words into my mouth and saying things I'm not. Sorry.
well sir i'm very sorry for bitching in this thread.

Uhh...

Don't call me "sir",I'm not that old.
right sir of course.
It doesn't really faze me XD
yes seriously person that likes to use gifs instead of words.
good for you
this is not what i wanted to happen.
sigh...All I see are a bunch of people up in arms over a simple term.
sir doesnt imply old age
I cannot use words to explain how stupid your reason behind saying that is..

i don't think its stupid at all. i know you can't use words because you keep using gifs and pictures.
That's not even at all what this thread is about.. again read before you post.
