Luke's never going to shoot someone in the face just for insulting him...
unlike lily luke won't murder anyone just for being put in his place plus he is more loved than lily either way
To be fair, I doubt people thought that Lilly would be the type to shoot someone in the face when they first met her in Episode 1. People can change and all that jazz.
To be honest, I think we've already seen Luke at his breaking point - it led him to having sex, which was irresponsible but ultimately harmless. There's a possibility that he might come to blows with Kenny if he was responsible for starting the gunfight, but I don't care for Kenny the way I did for Carley.
Here's another way to look at it.
Luke was needed, and he didn't come through.
He was fucking around with Jane, and not where he needed to be, which was helping a pregnant Rebecca; who had gone into labour, and helping Kenny defend the group.
Luke acted totally irresponsibly.
He put his wants, ahead of the group's needs.
There is no "I" in team!
So I do not blame Kenny one bit for being pissed off with Luke.
I'd know I'd be.
But no, I don't think Luke will turn into Lilly.
Sure he disagrees with Kenny.
And the way I see it, Luke will either man up; and work with Kenny.
Or, the two will eventually go their separate ways, with Clementine having to choose who'll she'll go with.
In a state of grief he made a mistake that put his friends at risk but didn't actually hurt anyone, and he apologized for it. Kenny also 'abandoned' his group for hours until Clementine pulled him back.
I do believe Clementine has the right to feel betrayed that Luke decided to put his trust into a stranger than with her - the fact that he quickly brushes off Clem saying that she isn't okay indicates to me that he still isn't comfortable with releasing his emotions onto her.
