  • A racist that sticks to his statements, also believes that his statement is right. Of course i am not comparing this two things here, i am just trying to give you an example.

Yes, i am satisfyed. Let's both stop discussing about this now and move on.

i know this was a mistake for you but not me. i don't know how saying what i think is wrong is a mistake. maybe i fucked up according to you and others i did and next time i'll fix whatever was wrong. does that satisfy you?

  • who's side are you on? you don't have to pick but its kinda hard to tell after all these comments.

It's quite astounding how ignorant and misguided some people in this thread our, not to mention offensive. But Kenny is a Redneck so you know what that might entail.

  • I dont think you were wrong to bring it up. If a person has an issue that bothers them, they should feel free to express it and you did that. I doubt anyone hates you, people just get worked up over controversial topics like this. I hope you can close the thread without feeling like you cant say what's on your mind.

  • i don't think i was wrong for bringing it up because it needed to be addressed and i know the forum doesn't like to talk about stuff like this but i was hoping maybe i get them to hear me out. didn't work.

this thread was closed once already but i got it back open and i would close it again and i kinda want but i can't because everyone didn't understand what i was trying to say and it sucks because i felt like they're were painting as villian but i guess you can't please everyone huh?

  • I mean no harm when I use the jokes. I know it's not right to say it on the internet regardless, but I'm comparing it to how bad racism is in real life, whether a joke or not.

"Many members of this community would not use this term in real life scenarios." Just because you don't say something in real life doesn'

  • Are you like heartless or something? Do you not think a joke can be hurtful? Are you that pig headed to think that you can just say things and people will just be okay about it. Your "just deal with it" attitude is ignorant. Its all fun and games till somebody gets hurt not the other way around.

Oh boohoo, someone got pissed off or offended by a JOKE. Well that's not my problem, I'll just look back and laugh.

    Oops double post

  • No, it's not ignorance, it's called humor. If you take offence then don't listen, just ignore it. Let other people have their fun. Honestly, I've heard homophobic jokes from all over and I honestly DO. NOT. CARE. A joke can be hurtful if people take it the wrong way, sure. But to others it's funny. If they get offended by it then oh well, sucks to be them, I however find it funny. And if they do it with intent of being harmful then they are idiots and we don't listen to idiots.

  • The thing is everyone's different. Some can't handle or are not okay with those types of jokes. That doesn't mean to stop making those jokes but to know your audience. I'm not gonna just laugh at someone else expense if their clearly irritated.

  • It did not need to be addressed, nobody has ever complained about urban jokes or Clem's race besides you, at least in the 3 months I've been here.

  • I know you might feel offended, but if we took everyones offended feelings into consideration we might aswell be monks.

The urban thing is a very funny joke to us, can't take it? Then leave. We don't mean you any harm.

I know I'm being slightly racist but I'm gonna keep the thread going.

  • I think they left her ethnicity slightly ambiguous.

  • i don't think so. its kinda obvious.

  • It'd be obvious if we were told, but we weren't, hence it being ambiguous. Sure, we can guess, but that's not really knowing for sure.

no they told us. right here: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2012/12/26/creating-clementine.aspx

  • here:

    Changing Clementine

Lee Everett wasn’t Telltale’s first idea for a main character. Originally, Vanaman planned for Clementine to come from a single-parent household where Clementine’s brother took care of her due to her mother not being up for the task. With this idea, Clementine’s brother became the lead, but Vanaman decided a pre-existing relationship would be too much to ask a player to take on in The Walking Dead world. The decision led to them changing Clementine’s race because they wanted her to look like she could potentially be Lee’s daughter.

I'm urban and I don't mind the urban jokes. It's all in good spirit.

I don't care if people refuse to accept that Clem's black either. I know that she is, and that's all that matters.
