The Field
Do you think we will ever find out what happened in the clip after season 1? Or do we assume it was Omid and Christa?

I'm 98.99% sure it was Omid and Christa .
I will raise your percent by .02 and say I'm 99.01% it was omid and christa.
It's Bromid and the Christanator.
What I don't get is why are they all out there.
Christa and Omid were under strict orders to either find a boat, meet by the train or find Lee and Clem. Why was they in the countryside?
Cause they thought a boat was gonna be in the field.
Savannah was being overrun by a herd. So just like Clementine, the only option for them was to get out, no matter what you told them to do.
Kenny "died", so I guess the boat plan went out the window. Maybe they were heading to the train or looking for Lee and Clementine. If they were looking for Clementine, technically they DID find her. Lol.
Exactly, why would they be walking in a field? They should be by the river.
No, it was Rick and Carl.....:)
But in doing so, they left Clementine to escape the city by herself. Which goes against everything they said.
Read my comment below this discussion, I clicked the wrong button, sorry.
EDIT: I don't believe this, this is for mr.quality.
They probably assumed Lee would be capable of leading her out of the city.
I'm pretty sure they were looking for her and did probably stay by the train, but most likely Clem didn't show up, and I'm sure they tried to look, but needed to get out as soon as Savannah was being overrun.
You could still say to them when your on the broken sign to look for a boat. The train was overlooking the city, and not in the middle of nowhere. And only by enormous luck that they found her Clem.
This probably is true, but I still can't understand why they would abandon Clem after promising Lee they'd look after her. If they were going to look they'd stay near the city and not in the middle of nowhere. (Technically they did find her in the middle of nowhere but that is irrelevant).
But they knew Lee was bit, and would turn soon. They knew that on the sign it was the last time they would probably ever see Lee again.
Yeah, but their whole plan was thrown out the window by the walker herd. So, no matter what, their first goal was to get out, and hope that the two made it out, or at least Clem.
At the end of the day, what were they going to do against a whole city of walkers?
The Herd was in the city before the plan was made...
It seems out of character for Christa to save herself first and then hope a 9 year old girl can do the same.
I always considered Omid and Christa loving and trustworthy characters... but I never put much thought into why they were walking in a field out in the middle of no where when they found Clem. This has me rethinking their positions on my list of characters.....
Like I said, what options did they have?
Going to the Marsh house? Maybe they did, even though I can't see how they've made it past the walkers. However, even if they did made it somehow, they wouldn't find anybody, so what's next? Search the entire city for a little girl? Maybe they even assumed that both, Lee and Clementine, are dead.
'Maybe they even assumed that both, Lee and Clementine, are dead.'
This is probably most likely. I don't know... its always just a question I ask myself whenever I see this scene, if I can see through the tears...
That was Omid and Christa, I don't know if you remember this but in the first episode of season after Lee survives the car crash and kills the cop that turn into a zombie. you see a shadow on top of hill, Lee shorts at to get help and but it rans away. Its clear now that shadow was Clementine before we officially met her. the shadow is small, and it has the outline of her hair and her father's cap. Tell-tale was teasing us with the two shadows in the hill. Clearly its Omid and Christa, I just don't know how the recognise Clementine form that far of a distant, then again not everything in a game makes sense.
