Follow a moral decision or take Jane`s advice ?

  • That's not the point. The point is that the Stranger blamed the group for taking the food and that's why he targeted them. Clementine getting kidnapped led to Lee getting bitten and him dying.

If they didn't take from the station wagon everybody would have starved to death, it had to be done.

  • It's been two years after civilization's collapse, and Carver's son was initially conceived in the "safety" of a militaristic community. But lest you believe that leaving his community was an inherently selfish and short-sighted idea, remember that you first find Rebecca's group in a cabin. It's a very sustainable living area, with fresh water, food and wood all around them.

If it weren't for Carver pursuing them (partly because their escape caused some damage to his community), they would have been better off in the cabin. Rebecca could have had her baby there, and had a doctor to help facilitate its birth and keep her alive.

Yeah thats exactly how Alvin and Rebecca planned for it. Hey lets Die and drop our baby on an 11 year old. WTF? Whats the alternative? Av

  • Part of me wants to take Jane's advice xD

  • Yes. There's also the implication that Carver raped Rebecca so it was completely out of her hands anyway. These people just tried to make the best out of a shitty situation. Child birth makes it more complicated but a zombie apocolypse doesn't just delete the need to reproduce. If anything thats when it would be the most important.

  • If the baby was born, chances are he would have been taken away from his mother and brainwashed into being Carver's heir. Poor kid is better off not being indoctrinated into becoming a monster.

  • Good point. Besides Carver doesn't tolerate weakness of any kind. What if the child grew up and was allergic to something? Or had some mental disability?

  • That would be poetic justice. Carver would either have to kill his own child, or rethink his philosophy.

  • True that would be more humane, but geez just imagining that is horrible...I really hope Clementine won't have to do something like that. :/

A sharp object to the head is humane compared to starving, freezing, or being eaten alive.

I would leave the baby in real life if I had too. It's chances of surviving to a good age are very slim. No point everyone dying over a baby which can't do anything to help and is a burden.

Me too. if it were real life and the walkers were after the baby, I'd sacrifice myself to save him.

Fear is the most powerful emotion. We all fear. Even when we are in love, we fear. When we are happy, we fear. We fear losing our good emotions. That is how powerful fear is; it seeps into our other emotions.

I refuse to let fear drive me. Think of it like this: You are in a car with fear. Fear is in the back seat. Fear says, "You can't do this. Don't risk it. Let me take the wheel.". You can choose to let fear drive (drive your actions) or you can keep driving on your own. Fear is still there, but you don't act out or do things because of it.

Risking yourself for even the smallest of moral things shows a lack of fear. Beatrice, for example. Risk your lives to end her suffering? That shows a lack of fear driving.

Isn't that just a fancy way of saying you fear living in fear?

  • I can't believe that there are so many who would leave a baby behind. A baby!!! If Clem dies, it should be because she did something worthwhile that caused her death - like saving a baby.

  • Telltale really did work hard to make you hate him. In testing more.than 90% of players saved him, and to get more people to drop him they just added the scene of him abandoning Clem.

Yeah, Telltale worked overtime to make Ben unbelievably stupid in that episode. Nevertheless I could forgive him because he panicked rather

  • I would save the baby even if it meant that Clementine had to die; meaning when the baby grows up, he will know that young Clementine (if informed) sacrificed herself hoping that he would have a head start in restoring humanity.
