Smoking is bad.
But taking a little sip of that rum wouldn't do her harm. I'm sure a lot of children do it, ask their parents if they can… more have a sip. And their parents let them, because it's a sip. I've had sips of alcohol. I'm perfectly fine.
Clem didn't seem to like it.
Because it makes them less efficient as survivors. Obsessing over discipline can be creepy when it leads to hurting children, but there is a point behind not drinking on the job.
Oh forgive me great European overlord. Your obviously so much smarter than everyone, except Russia.
Cool story bro.
Petty Stra… morew Man tactics don't work on me.
Right.
I can make up my own mind, about things i don't need others to tell me what to think.
This just goes to show how ignorant you really are. Thinking for yourself is one thing. But downright refusing to believe anyone other than yourself.. well, that's just stupid really.
You mean how drug companies will do whatever it takes to earn a buck, like charging 200 dollars for a pill to someone who is dying. Yes they are thinking about the kids in Africa i'm sure....
I'll say it again: we don't all live in America. Some of us live in a magical fairy-tale land with this thing called free health care! Where I come from, nobody charges dying people 200 dollars for a pill. In fact, they don't charge them anything. Tell me again what medical rese… [view original content]
Cool formatting, bro.
I'll tell you what should stop you from getting drunk during the apocalypse: your drunken ass stumbling and getting eaten by zombies who are more agile than you.
It's a game. if it would be a real zombie apocalypse and if you were in this situation then "Clementine" would know what to do. and even if she tried, would'nt she be smart enough to not do it again?
Honestly, I face palmed when Bonnie offered a cig to Clem. Really Bonnie? Offering a cig to a 12 yr old girl...
First and only drink Clem … morehad was with Nick in that shed. That scene reminded me way too much of the scene with Daryl and Beth in the shack. Beth drinks alcohal for the 1st time there with Daryl. That's on of my favorite scenes so I had to.
The drinks are alright, as long as she isnt getting drunk or anything, it wont effect
her, however the smoking is a bad choice, Clem will get addicted to Nicotine and will make her desire more, and smoking at a young age could easily cause damage to someone who's brain is still developing.
Smoking? No! No point in starting lung cancer that early. I don't think anyone should smoke. But drinking is different. A little sip here and there. Give them a taste of it can't hurt anyone. I think its fine in very tiny doses and never on a regular basis. Even outside of a zombie apocolypse it should be ok. But especially Clem who has been through so much shit and has had to kill people... I think a tiny bit of a drink would be fine. Just the little bit to make her cough is the line though.
You sound like one the guys who think everyone on the internet must be American, and therefore watch American commercials
You sound … morelike a butt hurt European, who always tends to bring this issue up wherever they go.
common sense and scientific research.
What research have you done? Or are you believing what your told because your just one of those people.
Study after study indicates that drinking, smoking or doing drugs while you're still developing is exponentially worse than doing the same as a full grown adult.
I'm scared of what will come of this/next generation.
Wow people are so mind controlled. It is Clementine's choice if she wants to smoke you can't stop her especially when you been treating her … morelike a adult when you need her help, then treating her like a child because she does something you don't approve of, hippocrates.
That character has bad genes to begin with, did Walter get cancer from smoking? Since cancer is also genetic and can run in the family. Smoking is ok if Clem was bit older like maybe 15 or 14, but even then when she tried not a big deal rlly, she wont get addicted like that

That was one of my favorite parts. While Clem drops her fork and everyone else is questioning Lee whats going on Duck is sitting there just going to town on leg o Mark lol.
as CrazyGeorge pointed out. Everyone in the game is fine with treating Clem as an adult when they need her help with something. Yet in this they treat her like a kid.
Well, she's still 11... No matter how much you hate Kenny, at the end of the day, he didn't want Clem drinking while everyone else was perfectly cool with it.
Thats not my point though. Excessive even for adults is bad. I'm not a professional or anything but Walter has straight up cancer. Smoking adds more risk of lung cancer... Different types of cancer right? Too much of even good things can be bad and smoking and drinking isn't exactly good for you. Walter made his son drink until he was throwing up. You shouldn't be doing that even as an adult!

I learned its always disgusting. I tried my first beer when I was 18 (/shrug living in heavily Mormon and being raised that anything fun is bad would do that to ya) and I hated the taste so much I could never imagine getting drunk. Maybe I'm weird but I never acquired the taste as people said you do. Every time i drink I feel like I'm drinking pure ass. Cannot stand it. Then again I can't even stand the smell of Coffee.
They didn't allow headphones at my old job for safety reasons. Because forklifts were around and other shit. Yet I worked so much harder when I didn't have to hear the same crap over the speakers every fucking day.
What is the point of surviving if you can't live a little? And this is coming from someone who hates smoking and drinking.
Because it makes them less efficient as survivors. Obsessing over discipline can be creepy when it leads to hurting children, but there is a point behind not drinking on the job.
I wish Bonnie would have shared a cigarette to my Clem.... Sounds so much nicer than blaming me for Luke's death while, being factually responsible for it.

PS: didn't read lol
smoking at 13, wtf
Smoking at 13 is bad for you.
Lee: "DON'T EAT THAT!"
Duck: -Keeps eating-
Starved for Help was saying that. I still miss that dumb little kid, though
Pete never let Clem smoke, so I turned down that cigarette in his memory. Had a sip of rum, though. In Nick's memory, of course...
agreed, a very!!! small sip of alcohol won't hurt an 11 year old, but smoking, no fucking way, that shit shouldn't even be done by adults
Opinion.
Cool story bro

Nice.
Is the story as cool as you say, or is it just a nice story. Bro?
Hopefully next season we will get a chance to let her smoke crystal meth.
Straw man tactics, What if situations.
Nobody but Kenny seemed to mind either 0_0

How come nobody smokes weed in this series. I'd be high all the time and running away from my problems.
Clem said..."don't judge"

I'm 31 and never have touched a cigarette. I think most people are referring to the drinking.
lol I R EDGY! The only truth is the truth I chose to believe man! Fight the propaganda!
Sorry, but my protective nature took over. Get da hell away from drinks and smoking, Clem! xD
And I'm sure you know 3 out 8 of their names
Kuz they will be hungry as shit, and food is already near none or scarce haha.

.... But quick enough to have everyone do everything for them and watch Kenny beat Carver to death.
Bitch please! My Clem was doing Meth back at the motor Inn when Lee wasn't looking.
Eddie at least does!

It would be pretty interesting, if you let Clem smoke/drink you might see her smoking and drinking without giving you a choice.

TOTALLY POSSIBLE IN A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE .
