Photosynth at PAX 2014
In case you missed PAX 2014, I took a few hundred photos of telltale game's Tales from the Borderlands booth and created what are called Photosynths, a Microsoft technology that takes multiple images and calculates how to let you walk around in the photographed environment. For your viewing pleasure, I present:
Take a walk around the outside of the Telltale’s Borderlands booth!
Sneak inside and move around!
Or, just stand in one spot and turn.
I hope you enjoy!

This is so incredibly awesome.
I love you.
Ummm what...im pretty sure jack is dead as a doornail
Thanks all!
I forgot to mention the interior was done using High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography, which blends 3 or more photographs together into a single representative photo. This allowed me to combine the very dim room and the very bright monitors, while accentuating the low-contrast high-saturation cellshader theme. It turned out better than I'd planned.
And special thanks to the telltale crew, for letting me pop in early so I could take the 300 photos without a moving crowd... even while they were busily getting ready!
wtf i was scared since I saw "2014" I cannot believe it's 2014
Mind blown!
...Jokes aside, that's really cool! Thanks for sharing!
