I mean just that - most people were satisfied with female Shepard's romances, and not so much male Shepard's. Thane's romance is simply beautiful; admittedly even better than Garrus'. (Not to mention it makes ME3's ending that much more tolerable.) No comment on Jacob, but he's really the only exception. From what I've seen, a lot of fans found the choices for male Shepard shallow and unfulfilling in the end.
Thanes romance is great, but at the same time really sad and yeah Jacobs was just awful in my opinion. The best maleshep romances have got to be tali and liara without a question.

First off, My thread is older. So if the mods decided to merge them, They'd add the other one to this one.
Secondly, The other thread is … morefor Mass Effect memes and fun. This one is strictly for discussions. So, I don't think they'll be merging them.
I liked Mass Effect.
My favorite characters were: Shepard, Garrus, Wrex, Miranda, Ashley, Thane, Kelly, and Grunt.
I my least favorite game in the series was ME3.
It felt to much controlled.
Like there was not enough dialog options.
Ad plus the ending wasn't good.
When I first picked up the game, the way it ended was with a man telling a little boy a story, and the boy questioning whether or not it was true.
It didn't bother to explain what happened to the characters.
( I picked it up the night it was 1st released.)
And another thing I didn't care for, was that in ME2 and ME3, that when it came to the sex scenes, they cut out the nudity.
Doing so was incredibly cheesy to me.
Wait for Mass Effect 4 is killing me, curious how they're going to tie in all of the possible endings if it's a sequel. And please put some old friends from ME 1-3 in it, even if its just small cameos. I was to see Liara a few hundred years later still staying loyal to Shepard even though hes dead. I wish Shepard had a kid somehow.
I liked the destroy ending the most.I heard that if you have EMS bigger than 6000 or something Edi's name doesn't appear on the wall, meaning that only the reapers were destroyed.

I just found out that this ending works only if you don't have the extended cut.The writers changed it when they created extended cut.Anyway I saw a disscusion about how the geth and edi can easly be reactivated by people even if they are destroyed.

I'm not at all a romance guy, but I liked what went on between Sheppard and Liara.
Particularly during ME3.
In ME2, Sheppard and Miranda were great.
In ME1, the deal between Sheppard and Ashley, it was a good storyline, but in my honest opinion, the designers did a poor job with making her look appealing.
In ME3, that obviously changed!
But what puzzles me is that if Ashley was suppose to be a potential love interest for the male protagonist in the story in ME1, why didn't the designers go just a step further to make her look more attractive?
Cause compare Ashley to Liara, it's really no comparison.

Just curious who was you guys/girls favorite romances?
Male Shepard: Tali
Female Shepard: Garrus
Tali is awesome, even though Liara was my first
Haven't played as femshep, watching my sis do it.
Tali, of course :P
You know I always thought it was unfair that femshep didn't have as good of romances as maleshep.
Really? People seem to say it's the other way around.
I did that it posted this -_-
Male Shepard - Tali
Femshep - never played with femshep xD
What do you mean? The only femshep one I thought was great was the garrus romance.

First, thats what I meant, of course yours will be the original.
Secondly, okay then I shall participate on both of these great forums.
Finally someone revived this

That's just a rumor, sadly. The geth and EDI die no matter what if you pick Destroy.
Never heard anything about that.
Alright, Gonna post some questions in order to keep this thread active.
Deploy or Sabotage the Genophage cure and why?
Deploy, even when I had Wreav. The krogan deserve it, plus I hate Dalatrass Linron.
I'm quite the opposite. I don't think the Krogan deserve it even if Wrex was around. :P

I haven't played Mass Effect, but I should one day.
Cool video. You should buy the trilogy, You won't regret it.
Yeah, I need to make money first, I'll probably get an after school job soon.

To me, It's not about who lives and who dies, It's about the weak plot.
