My # 1 piece of advice for surviving high school is to not even worry about being in with the cool kids, and find some people who you can really be friends with despite what people may say about you. I wish I would've, since I had no friends out of high school because I was so worried about trying to climb the social latter. I had a horrible reputation in high school and was avoided like the plague, all because my mother worked at the high school I went to.
