TWD tv series. who are your favorite character/characters?

edited September 2014 in The Walking Dead

And what would you like to see happen to them in future episodes?
And who would you like to see introduced as a new character in the series?
What actor would like to see on there?

Rick Grimes.
I've always like the guy!
Rick is a tough, but caring man.
He looks after his own.
Plus, Rick has respect for others.
For example, when it cam to Herschel's barn, even though storing walkers in there was dangerous, Rick refused to do anything until he talked with Herschel. Rick, even with everything happening around him, showed Herschel respect and dignity.

Daryl.
Probably my favorite character in the series.
Two things I'd like to see happen.
1, I'd like to see him get an eyepatch, as I think it would be a totally badass look for him.
2, I'd like to see him and Beth Greene reunite.
It was nice to see those two interact.
She brought out a lot of Daryl's good qualities, more so then Carroll ever did.

I know some have speculated that there was a "love-story," developing between Daryl and Beth.
And I can see why some might suspect that, given the way the two sometimes interacted.
Whether or not was was true, or will be true if the characters should reunite, I don't really care.
But I did enjoy seeing those two interact, as Beth seemed to bring out more of Daryl's humanity.

And I've also heard a rumor, that the writers have toyed with the idea of making Daryl gay.
Whether of not that is actually true or not, I don't know.
I personally don't see Daryl as gay.
What I do see, is a character who obviously came from a broken home, and therefore has a hard time relating to other people.

And the actor I'd love to see on the show, would have to be: Bryon Cranston.
Bryon Cranston was amazing in Breaking Bad.
And I'd think he'd be incredible into TWD.
Though unlike Breaking Bad, I'd like to see him in the role of a protagonist.

  • Sorry, I don't really have a favorite. They are all boring to me. No one has any personality besides acting serious. IN MY OPINION.
-A single exception would be Carol. Melissa McBride is great as her. "The Grove" was the best episode The Walking Dead show has ever done, in my opinion.
I would like for someone to give the characters some personalities and some interesting "perks." Other than that, each character acts pretty much the same; dead serious.

The game is 9000 times better than the TV show.

  • To be completely honest, I don't like anyone.

  • Michonne.

    I also love Carol.

Don't know what I want to happen to them except live, really.

    1. Carol
    2. Shane
    3. Rick

TWD would feel very weird seeing Bryan Cranston on the screen.

Spoilers but you should have watched up to season 4 if you want to go on this thread :P

"And I may not have what it takes to last for long, but that's okay. 'Cause at least I can say when the world goes to shit, I didn't let it take me down with it"-Dale Horvath

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpuQjUWPPzA.

"Dale could... could get under your skin. He sure got under mine, because he wasn't afraid to say exactly what he thought, how he felt. That kind of honesty is rare and brave. Whenever I'd make a decision, I'd look at Dale. He'd be looking back at me with that look he had. We've all seen it one time or another. I couldn't always read him, but he could read us. He saw people for who they were. He knew things about us... the truth who we really are. In the end, he was talking about losing our humanity. He said this group was broken. The best way to honor him is to unbreak it. Set aside our differences and pull together, stop feeling sorry for ourselves and take control of our lives...our safety...our future. We're not broken. We're gonna prove him wrong. From now on... we're gonna do it his way. That is how we honor Dale."-Rick Grimes

R.I.P Dale Horvath, my favorite character.

  • I liked Shane

    R.I.P. ;_;

    1-The Governor.

    2-Merle.

    3-Shane.

    Honorable mention: Tyreese.

I'm not a huge fan of the show. To be honest with you, I think a lot of characters are poorly developed or plain boring. Not to mention the annoying/overrated ones. Only these four characters managed to get a positive reaction out of me.
