TWD Forum Comic: Tales from the Forum: Character Designs(Heroes)
When I first started making the characters, I wanted people to have the… more freedom over their own designs. They gave me description and I merely just picture it in my head with a few of my own preferences. But some just wanted me to draw them in anyway. I also used their own personality to help me make their appearance relate to them. When I was given the picture of what 1Guy was meant to look, the figure looked right but I was spectacle of the outfit. I didn't have the proper leader feel I was looking for when making the main group(Upvote Revolution), so I looked into some manga and used (NARUTO SPOILER) Madara Uchiha's Junchuriki cloak as the reference.
For Pokedme, it was really difficult to find a proper outfit as I'm not into furries, but I looked at Star Fox games and used that as an inspiration. Plus I made sure his eyes looked "light" to represent some of his light … [view original content]
Really hard to tell I don't think stache did it but it seems like a coverup and that he knows who truly did it but why keep it a secret? the plot thickens
Good news is, that the inking has started. And that Ep2 should be completed before Christmas.
And here's the bad news: There have been complications with my life right now. I have to do some favors(some of them literally just asked out of no where without my consent) for people that needs to be done, and they're bugging me about it so I need to finish them before they get more impatient. Plus I got a bunch of house chores that also needs doing. I need to do them before it gets worse. And with those in the way I won't be able to finish the comic by the 20th. I will have to delay it a bit. Believe me, I'm very upset about this but I have no choice. I'm deeply sorry. I will promise you that it WILL release this month. That much, I promise. I'll be leaving the forums until then so I can divert all my attention to it. Maybe I'll be on Steam, or Skype? I dunno, probably. Again, I'm sorry for the delay. I'm not proud of this at all.

What's Homestuck? It's a dumb but for some people (Including Azlyn) funny comic on the web created in MS Paint her character is based on Sollux a character from the comic.
Yeah, I'm real glad I'm getting the hang of this myself. Their faces doesn't feel out of place like it used to be. And it took me a long time to get Poked's head drawn right. lol
I've been considering romance for some time now. Seems possible. But uh... I thought I made it clear by showing New Threads that it's in the action genre. So yeah, expect tons of fighting in the future. But there's not just action, there is character development too, ya know. I've been doing a lot of focus on that too.
So good news. Much later on, in the night hours, I'll be releasing Mind Games Part 4!

I forced myself to finish cuz hey, I like doing this and I can't stand being lazy for more than 20 minutes(anymore and I get freaking pissed). I enjoyed doing this one. I was laughing my ass of with the deathstar and ayylmao easter egg, a silly little joke Ohyoupokedme and the EAT SHIT AND DIE SMACK XDDDD awesome
I enjoyed seeing the friendship developing between Tobi and ohyoupokedme learning and connecting more with his character was just awesome
The writing and story flowed superbly I liked that it didn't follow one objection till the end so you couldn't predict the next moment like my favourite writer horowitz they had no objective just constant action and different scenes the objection was always in the moment you couldn't predict what happens next it was so exciting and fun to read really edge of your seat stuff.

I loved the constant movement everything was at such a fast pace and I was in awe and fascinated with everything getting the message, stranger, death, flashback, Clems etc
CLEM WITH THE HAMMARS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I loved it the fighting sequence was so awesome ahh seeing Clem was a fanboy overload great writing and drawing in these scenes
Cursing so much of it I love it eat shit and die, annoying fuck I was laughing so hard I like that it makes the story more unhinged and realistic
I loved the drawing of the deer, clem and death I just stared at each for about 5 minutes in awe O-O
Friend red killing his father then ohyoupokeme piercing his heart with an arrow was just epic my favorite section was the flashback was just so beautiful to look at and we learned poked has to made a moral choice of killing a friend who killed his relative by accident was it right who knows? you can still see he questions that decision everyday I loved it
The ending was pro writing making stache say sorry making the reader question his guilt and be hungry for more
My interpretation would be asking myself but what is he sorry for?

Ayy I don't even remember drawing a deathstar. That was supposed to be the moon. lmao
Yeah when I look at the speed of the issues, it kinda reminds of old DC cartoons like Batman The Animated Series how they quickly moved through the story but made sure the story was still good.
Still hurts seeing the Clem triplets get kicked in the face. Ouch...
Truth is I hate drawing animals cuz they're such a pain to draw. I had to look at my Naruto manga books just to find an image of the deer. I had to look at and draw from there. And death was actually risky to draw cuz one mess up in making the shadows and I would have to start over.
The interesting things about Poked's backstory is that as he developed through phases, you can see that his outfit becoming closer and closer to his current appearance. I liked the steady transformation I did for that part.

This is the piece of music I used to help me bring out the atmosphere of the mysterious figure. Really brought out the intimidation of its presence.
Oh and in the scenes with the mysterious figure, I actually mixed the old style a bit with the new style to add more of a dark atmosphere.
