Ok, so if you don't want to read it all, here's what it's message is: all Australians of non-Aboriginal descent should leave and go back to their country of origin, because of what their ancestors did. Because they're white.
I was born in this country, so I probably do have British ancestry, so why should leave my life and home because my great-great-great-great-great grandfather or whoever committed genocide on the Aboriginals? Does this mean the Germans should pay the price for what hitler did? Should we lock up all Muslims because of 9/11? Fuck no.

You get this BS in the US too. People say "oh it's so awful we stole their land, oh it's so awful." Yes, it was awful, but the point of their complaining is simple white guilt - and not because they think the past was wrong and we need to do something about it, like go back to their country of origin or even just financially support places like the Navajo Nation, which suffer from massive issues of poverty (nearly half of families below the poverty line); no, they want to keep living where they do, with all the advantages they have, but complain about it so they 'feel' progressive. It's just trying to have your cake and eat it too. The most they'll actually do is 'raise awareness' about a racist football team name. Did this reverend actually put his money where his mouth was? Doesn't look like it.

No, I generally consider myself a liberal when it comes to economic issues, the environment, gay marriage, marijuana legalization etc. (especially economic issues.) There are just some positions I think liberals either go overboard (especially identity politics), or some select issues where I'm, while maybe not conservative, not particularly liberal. It was just some online quiz I took but I really liked the term; I'd probably be best described as a New Deal Democrat. Actually, last election I voted Green.
