  • He could be dead but she could have still missed her shot and he can come back as a walker maybe.

    God bless.

Nope telltale confirmed it themselves Lee's DEAD no disrespect

  • Impossible. She couldnt have missed from point blank range, unless it was deliberate, which Clem wouldnt have done because she had to honour what Lee requested.

  • Lee is Frozen in Carbonite... thats my theory... I bet Clem was about to shoot him, and then froze him in carbonite just in case. I'm just sure of it.

  • So that means in your head....Kenny confirmed for season 2!!

Because I've watched so many movies where it's happened I don't really trust a death scene unless I see the person die. God bless.

  • he can't, goddamit!
i hate blind people like you :[

But he may still make a cameo as a walker. God bless.

  • YES, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, GODDAMIT. SHE-SHOT-HIM. HE-IS-DEAD. THE END.

    But not impossible. God bless

  • The only way Lee would appear again I think will be in Clementines dream or imagination, like when Merle appears to Daryl on the Tv series at some point in S2.

    Just my theory:

Based on season one's decisions, Clementine has never been a killer unless absolutely necessary. For example, Lee sneaks into her backyard, she could've dropped a hammer on him, but chose not to. Next, the teacher bleeding in the back of the pickup truck, although he is pretty much done for, Clem is still worried whether he will make it or not. Next, Lily's douchebag of a father Larry collapses while they are trapped in ohshtville with a 300lb, 6 foot, angry semi-zombie, and even still Clem is AGAINST killing Larry. The cannibal St. John brother who almost made her eat a human being, whether you kill him or not, Clem would rather him stay alive. She's against stealing from the abandoned vehicle because of the indirect affect it may have on the living. She is against harming Lily, she freezes up to shoot in the train station when Lee is being attacked, she stops Lee from killing Molly (a stranger at the time) in the street, she supports Ben in the school after his like 10th time fcking up, and she shows major concern for Omid when he's injured before the field trip to Crawford. After literally just seeing her dead mother and father, and watching the next closest thing to family that she has slowly withering away, I am 100% inclined to believe that no matter how good of a shot she is, as witnessed in the encounter with Lee and his stalker, she does not have it in her to kill, unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. At this point, Lee is like a dying kitten, and Clem doesn't strike me as Rambo all of a sudden. Besides, Lee is not an absolutely necessary situation. First and foremost HE'S LEE! Besides that MAJOR fact, he's tied up, she's optimistic about there being a cure, she closes her eyes to shoot, and there is no blood spatter on her hat or body... nothing fresh at least. The fact that you had options on how you would describe Lee's fate is fishy in it's own, especially when silence IS still a valid option. Granted, Lee coming back ALIVE is about as likely as the cop in Season 1 episode 1 knocking on the door asking about Lee's case in Macon, but Lee coming back as a walker, I can, and do believe.

Let me make this FINAL POINT. In both season 1 and 2, in the Episode slides, never has there been a slide which centers around a zombie, only a main character at the time. Why does it do so in Season 2 Episode 5? I'm willing to bet, she will encounter said "zombie", compare this "zombie" to the picture of Lee she holds onto, find the comparisons undeniable, and do what she should've done the first time around, and by doing so, there'll be "NO GOING BACK". Also, if you'll notice, that same crappy blue Levi's shirt that Lee wears is the same one the "zombie" wears in the picture. HIRE ME AS A WRITER TELLTALE GAMES!!! SUBMITTING APPLICATION NOW... LOADING... STILL LOADING... connection lost :( lol.

P.S. - Kenny sucks b@lls. I hope he does not return, he was nothing but a burden to everyone. I love Lee, I love Carly, the homeless guy was even cool for a minute, and although she lost MAJOR points with me for killing Carly, Lily is STILL a boss. If you ask me, the return is of a St. John brother, which should make for an awesome he said she said between Clem and the Cabin group. Think about it, a stranger with a busted face vs. a girl who killed a dog, escaped a walker, and "supposedly" shot her friend!

"I believe the St. John brother, this chick sounds like a 51/50 to me" -something Rebecca would say

  • Except she confirms in Season 2 that she killed him. "I had to shoot him to prevent him from coming back". If they bring him back after that it'd be cheap and I think Telltale is better than that.

    God bless.

However he may still come back as a walker. God bless.

  • You People might not have notice but if u listen carefully when clem shot lee, u can hear lee breathing like ahhhhh

  • Wow that was quite a rant. Just a quick point. Clem doesn't see her dead parents until after Crawford, in episode 5 when she and lee are leaving the marsh house. But regardless, her wanting people to be ok and lee asking her to do the right thing are two different things.

This discussion is silly. Even if she missed, lee is chained to a pipe. And isn't going to walk 400 miles to find Clem up in the mountains.
Lee is out of the story and whether you want to admit it or not. He is dead and Clem shot him.

  • Totally agree. I don't want Lee to be dead, but I and pretty much everyone here know he is.

  • Lee is dead. His story is done. Over. Finished. Ended.

He's dead. Gone. Stone cold. Dead. Gone. Dead. It's over. We have to move on.

  • But the gun jerks, Also Lee's head we see slump against the radiator if you choose to leave him. Perhaps that happened right before she shot.

    God bless you.

"It's temporary blindness, a side effect from being in the Carbonate so long."
    "Who are you?"
    "Someone who cares about you."
    "Carley?"
"What?... No, it's Molly... who's Carley?"

    God bless you.

  • I wrote this months ago, Lee would have died if Clementine left him and he would have turned into a walker, walkers are dumb so unless he ripped his own arm off he wouldn't be able to work out how to get out of the handcuffs :P

  • so molly saw a walker Lee and thought it would be a good idea to uncuff it, dafuq, dont you think she would have put him out of his misery?

Not that hard. Perhaps Molly was on a rooftop and saw them enter the store. Who knows. God bless.

  • Yeah but sadly it didn't happen. However the no going back thing with the whole memory of Lee. I think that had more meaning than first glance. I mean why would Clementine remember that? If she wanted a happy memory I think she would have gone father back. And at the end with the promise. I think there's hope to see Lee yet, even in Zombie form.

Thanks for the very thorough and well written comment.

    God bless you.

  • I'd like to think Clem has the guts to shoot Lee and shoot him in the head if you make that choice. I won't agree with any alternative explanations or technicalities.

  • just wondering, why do you finish all your comments with "God bless" ?

As utterly ridiculous as I feel making myself a part of this complete waste of words, I'd like to rebut the gentleman with the theory on Clem's not being a killer based on S1 points alone. With S2 to take into account, that changes. Something hardened inside Clem. MY Clem is stone F-ing cold but I'd imagine that even with more benign choices, like not deliberately watching a man get his face caved in in cold blood and being glad about it afterwards, it'll be hard to argue that Clem isn't, well, different now.

Maybe some of that's Christa's tutelage, maybe some of it was seeing what happened to Omid, maybe some of it was whatever happened in the time between The Marsh House and those two finding her. I think the biggest, first, and most obvious catalyst though, is having to [string of expletives]-ing KILL LEE!

He's dead! Gone! Extinct! He's off to join the Choir Familiar! Bereft of life he rests in peace! He's pining for the fjords!. Furthermore, as was mentioned earlier, anything less cheapens and sullies the entire experience of both amazing seasons and any left to come. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

If by some absurd twist of fate it does, it will be sickening. That would be poor, hackneyed, infantile, dimestore storytelling.

Oh, and the long, pronounced wheeze Lee emits immediately following Clemmie's shot? That's called a "death rattle" and should not be miscontrued as evidence of anything other than that LEE IS MOST ASSUREDLY DEAD!

I can't believe I let myself get this worked up. I mean, I know the outcome here. You haven't listened to a lick of sense all day but goodness gracious... to think it could happen is utterly ludicrous, and to want it to just defies all reason.

YOU: "Gee, I liked Romeo and Juliet, but it'd be cool if there was a sequel where it turns out they're both OK after all, and they want to honeymoon at Ft. Lauderdale where Mercutio has a beach house but the only way they can get in is to dig him up and pretend he's still alive and vacationing with them. Lots of wacky hijinx could ensue and then they would live happily ever after... at least until R&J3: Which Wunna Ya'll Sumbitches Stole My Cheez?"

    Bless you.

[POSTSCRIPT: It should be obvious, but as a literal reading of this text would indicate otherwise, for the record, at some point early on I stopped directing my comments at cLEEmentine and began addressing the OP.]

  • She didn't want him as a walker, She didn't miss guys... Trust me ;(

  • He likes God

why do you constantly say "god bless"

  • Even on the small chance that Clementine missed her shot, the chances are even smaller that he ends up where season 2 takes place.

  • edited September 2014

Clementine can shoot very well, I don´t think she missed a target right in front of her, That and she can mention how she shot him multiple times.

  • It's happened a few times that walkers that became old managed to uncuff themselves.

so molly saw a walker Lee and thought it would be a good idea to uncuff it, dafuq, dont you think she would have put him out of his misery?

  • I changed my mind. lee is worms meat. dead. dead. dead.

Think I already answered you before. Unless there are two people with the exact same theory. Thank you for commenting and God bless.

  • You can say anything.... And you are. But if you say things without using your brain, people are likely going to comment. Lee is dead. Get a grip.

"Why can't I see anything?" "It's temporary blindness, a side effect from being in the Carbonate so long." "Who are you?" "Someone who cares about you." "Carley?" "What?... No, it's Molly... who's Carley?" God bless you.

  • Actually, he can be a completely intact walker. If you kept his arm, handcuffed the security walker, and left him, he would be a regular walker.

It's happened a few times that walkers that became old managed to uncuff themselves.

Nope, Lee's dead, it wouldn't make sence to go back to Savannah that place is overun by walkers

  • He's a person of religion.

    Is that a bad thing?

  • It's not just a bad thing, it's much worse than you could ever imagine.
