Supposedly my father was trying to think of a name for me when he found out that my mother was pregnant. He dreamed of me, and in the dream he was calling me , "Elian." (Eh-lee-an). I think he dreamed of this, because in around this time, there was a big news story about this boy who came from Cuba. He went on a boat with his mother trying to get to the US. In the process, his mother drowned, but he got to Miami, where his father was. When he arrived, there was a huge controversy about if they should let him stay, or take him back to Cuba. In the end, he was taken back to Cuba.

I've told strangers who asked for my name that my name was, "Austin." which has a nice ring to it. What do you guys think? Should I change my name to that, or keep the name I have at the moment?
