Tales from the Borderlands Xbox One Season Pass Enquiry!
Hi Guys,
Im really looking forward to play the Tales from the Borderlands on Xbox One here in UK.
Sadly, when i got home from work and checked my system, i can not find the option to purchase the season pass!!
The only options available are Episode 1 for £3.99.
Looking on the Xbox marketplace site Season pass is not found either in UK. However, i can see Season pass for xbox 360 only!
Please tell me what to do as i really want to play but don't want to spend £3.99 x 5 episodes = £19.95. When the season pass is going to be only £11.99.

Go to the episodes and there should be the season pass at the top.
No mate its not there. Thats why i was asking about it. Its not on the store or on there website. Atleast here in UK. You can only buy episode 1 on Xbox1 or on xbox360 you can get the season pass but its nowhere to be found on xbox1!!

oh! So you have to buy 1st episode for £3.99 and then spend another £11.99 (total £15.98) in game to buy season pass? That doesn't sound right?!!
Because the total price of all 5 episodes should be £11.99 and not £15.98.

I don't really understand pounds but... It's $4.99 for each episode and resulting in the end it will be $24.95.
For Telltale's newer, choice based titles, the subsequent episodes and the Season Pass both act as DLC for the first episode. The episodes are not individual games to launch, but instead, are all accessed from the game menu that you access by buying the first Episode. You have to at least buy the first episode to access the following episodes. Is that what you were asking about?
I should clarify that on consoles and mobile platforms, Season Passes only contain the rest of the Episodes after the first one since you already have to buy the first episode beforehand.
Only on PC/Mac do Season Passes contain all episodes - including the first - as PC/Mac purchases automatically give you access to every episode as they are released.

Yep that is what I'm asking but i don't believe what you are saying is true!
Take a look at the xbox360 release for example, you can purchase the full season pass for £11.99 without having to buy episode 1 first! The season pass can be bought as a standalone product giving you all 5 episodes as when released. However, xbox one seems to be the only platform where there is no season pass available as stand alone product. In fact, its the only console like this. Even on PSN network you can purchase the bundle without first buying episode 1.
Isn't this a goof up? Something went clearly wrong on X1.
OK Seems like i was right.
Microsoft have now seemed to make the season pass purchase available on the store. Seems like there was a Error/Glitch in there system. All this complaining to TellTales seemed to worked, as they put the product up today both in US and UK.
However, all is still not resolved
There is still a glitch in the xbox marketplace. When you click on the Season Pass it goes to:
"whoops , you found a glitch in our system". Well atleast you can see the Season Pass on the store now, yesterday it wasn't even there.

Think the issue may only be in the UK store and not US though.
Just an update, the issue is still not resolved. Come on guys whats taking so long? Mods please get in touch with who you need to, to get this sorted out asap! The issue is ridiculous!
I just spoke with a microsoft xbox representative and after investigating this is what he found and told me:
"Sorry if this is taking much of your time, I understand the frustration, as a gamer myself you just want to download this. However as we checked here, there is indeed an ongoing issue with the game the issue has been reported to our Higher team who is working with Telltale diligently."
"It does show released as well here on our end, but there is no description of it, as we checked the system."
It's not like you can play the episodes yet anyway, calm down and wait, it's day three since it's been released.
Yes day 3 since TellTales fisher price goof up! and they still have not bloody solved it! Great customer service they have.
Duh, I can't play the rest but atleast with the season pass i can play the first episode!!!
You should calm down, it will get fixed in time.
Just to let you know - you still have to buy this first episode even if you get the season pass. I bought the season pass thinking it would be for all 5 episodes but then when I read the terms and conditions, it says you need to purchase episode 1 which is sold separately.
