I'm not understanding the combat controls
I was able to figure out how to get a robot to fire a weapon, but I have yet to figure out how to get said robot to throw a grenade once it appears. I just keep getting killed over and over by a rocket-launching bandit without the robot tossing the grenade. The controls are not intuitive enough for me! Plus, it won't let me reassign keys (I'm left-handed).
Any suggestions?

What aren't you getting?
...How is pressing one button hard...Seriously what do you play on?
How to get a robot to throw a grenade.
Press 'Q' repeatedly.
Or maybe click on the bandits once and then press 'Q'
There's a point during the fight where you have to target two bandits at once in order to fire the rockets or grenades. If clicking on just one guy doesn't work, try clicking on another one as well.
Pressing 'Q' wasn't doing anything for me, and I was getting killed over and over. So I rewound the story and finally got past that part by using the rocket launcher. I'm not familiar enough yet with what does what in this game--very frustrating.
It's not the pressing per se, it's the not knowing what it will do, or it not doing anything useful for the situation at hand. I'm on PC.
Yeah, I did something like that after the rocket launcher wouldn't fire after targeting one. The rocket finally fired and I got past that point. But I didn't know I had to do it that way before hand.
Does TellTale have any documentation somewhere that discusses these kind of things, or do you just have to pick it up as you go along? This is quite different from the other 'Borderlands' game series, at least for me.
I thought the targeting was auto... I recall only need to press q and e.
Not sure if I click target by accident or not.
Now i understand why Telltale tries to make their gameplay as dumb as possible...
It says press a button.
You just need to press the button!
Yeah, like leaving out key reassignment.
The different types of combat I remember are:
Glad to see that you got past that part though. If you have problems later post a screenshot so we can see what you are talking about.
