I'm sure plenty of people (Most people) would vouch for your side of the argument, if they bothered to read the entire wall of text (Which I don't blame them if they don't want to.)

Yes. As I've admitted. Your point?

Sigh. This won't be a lecture, will it?

or doesn't know how to respond in a civil manner that they start to claim they're "loling" all over the place in a desperate and sad attempt to make themselves look superior.

I have no idea why you think I'm trying to be superior when your comment makes me laugh. It's not a sad or desperate attempt at anything. I literally laughed at that because it made no sense. And don't go on about "you don't understand my posts, be civil, blah blah." because I do. And it's laughable.

Either that, or they're a child and don't possess the skills to conduct a proper discussion.

I'm pretty sure I choose when I want to be civil or not. Hell, it's Christmas, being civil can wait until a few days since I'm in quite the mood.

Look, we're clearly not only on different pages, but completely different books

So is the book your reading "Women's instincts are finding a man that's strong, capable, tough, etc. 101"?

I'm not interested in fighting with you over something that isn't even in my post.:/

No, I think I see what the problem is. You don't realize what you type. Some of the stuff you said to me whilst explaining was pretty sexist. Like basing women's instincts on animal instincts. Saying that their instincts are based on one type of man. I've even said that it depends on the environment you grow up in, and as it came to be just before, your sexuality.

  • Alright, I was a bit overly entertained by some of the things you said, so I said a few things that were rude, and over used capslock a bit and for that I apologize. Anyway, the point is, humans are animals.

"Sure. If that's what you believe in, go ahead. I believe in God, and don't believe that we came from animals. Sure, we have similarities, but need I remind you that we live on the same planet as them. We don't live in trees, we don't shit on the ground, we speak words."

Alright, first of all, humans used to shit on the ground, and live in trees, and speaking words is nothing special, as many birds are able to. Not only that, but many people, including Korowai tribe in the amazon (I believe they are based in the Amazon Rain Forest, but don't quote me on it.) still do live in trees. Plus, there are many MANY people in all parts of the world that are less fortunate than me, and (I'm assuming) you, who are forced to shit on the ground, because they do not have plumbing, or toilets.

"Are you completely for fucking real? Are you?! No one even criticized you. You being ignorant and saying that to obviously get on the nerves of both of us is foolish. It's unneeded. I don't see any purpose it gives you in life other than coming off rude. Don't victimize yourself when you aren't even in this.

    Smh."

Yes, I am, indeed, "completely for fucking real." You said under one of my popcorn comments "Have fun trying to achieve whatever purpose in your life that this gives.", which led me to believe you were criticizing my motive behind making the comment, evidently I was wrong.

Anyway, this entire argument sprung up from a comment Tinni made about human female instincts, which was taken the wrong way. Now, a moderator has asked everyone to stop this discussion, which has escalated into an argument, and now many of us are going to walk away with hurt feelings. So, now that religion has been brought into this (Which is I guarantee you is going to cause more stress and hurt feelings) I think we should stop this debate/argument/shitstorm altogether.

My opinion is. Tinni is correct about women being NATURALLY attracted to males who are more dominant, and stronger than others, because of f

The moment you admit you are angry or upset in a debate is the moment you lose credibility, because you aren't thinking clearly. I myself have experienced this when I get heated, and then I look back and realize how immature I was acting, and that I was being selective in how I chose to interpret my opponents stance. I'm only trying to point that out to you, because of how transparent you are being, fumbling to regain your composure and maturity status when you've already thrown it away like a child.

I said humans share similar instincts with animals, meaning both males and females. The thread was asking for the female perspective so I decided to exclude the male perspective from my post. And if you bothered to read my comments without being emotionally compromised you would know that I said our core instincts are dulled due to the environment we live in, and that unlike animals we have the power to defy said instincts and decide what kind of man we want because of personal preference. I stated several times if we were to be stripped down to nothing but natural instincts that these are the specific traits that we would look for in a man. And furthermore, though we are not controlled completely by instinct, it still does play a part in our mating patterns on a subconscious level. That doesn't change the fact that we are capable of free will, conscious thought, and usually consider personal preference more important. I honestly can't believe you're still confused about this, I've restated my post in a myriad of different ways in hopes of helping you understand something that shouldn't even be difficult to understand in the first place. The point is that humans and animals are fundamentally similar, especially on an instinctual level. It has everything to do with science, and nothing to do with sexism.

..So basically what you're telling me is that you're offended by factual information. Ok then.

It's quite clear that you were upset from the minute you replied to me Yes. As I've admitted. Your point? It's common knowledg

I've already told you that is not what I said. You are choosing to ignore that.

It's true. When you are having a conversation with a person, and they are failing to understand the main point, it is very difficult to continue the conversation. I'm saying you aren't understanding, because my post is not an opinion, it is a fact. You can't disagree with fact. There is no need to get so angry.

You have though. It was quite a while ago, but I have a good memory, and I remember this exact same thing happening in an old thread. It was the only other conversation we've had, and it was equally unpleasant. It had to do with my dislike for Luke, you got upset and said I was being hypocritical, when there was no sign of hypocrisy in my post. This was pointed out to you, and you proceeded to get even more upset.

I only insinuate that your comprehension skills need work because you failed to understand the point of my post. You basically said

Sorry for budging in here but humans are animals...it's just a fact even if you are religious.

Anyway, the point is, humans are animals. I stopped reading there.

  • The fact that we have similarities to animals does not mean we are animals. If I have brown hair like someone else, does that make me them?

To me, we are not animals. It's not a fact that outstands all, I think that it might have something to do with your religion.

For the record, I am in fact religious, but that doesn't affect my ability to acknowledge fact. Humans are basically very intelligent and sentient animals with souls.
