What are some things you've done recently, that you are really proud of?
For myself: I'm most proud of that I turned down an affair with a married woman.
I was raised to think of marriage as a sacred deal.
"Till death do you part."
Even though I was very tempted, I did not go through with it.
And by not compromising on my principles, I am able to maintain my self-respect.
And having self-respect, is like having a pot of gold.

LOL
I hope you told the husband of the cheating ......
Oh and tell your wife what happened because if it comes up later she might doubt you if you dont tell her anything about it
I would've told her husband.
But being a complete stranger, it would've not been a smart move.
The only thing that would've accomplished is me getting my ass kicked.
After all, would you believe a stranger that made such a serious accusation about your wife, especially without any proof?
After all without any proof, it's just his word against your wife's, and of course she'll deny it, as the consequences of admitting to it are to costly.
And also, if she didn't cheat with me, she's gonna do it with the next handsome man that comes along.
I guess make people laugh?
Getting a top comment on Youtube. My life is pathetic.
If you don't like the way your life is, you can always change it.
You are responsible for how your life turns out, no else is.
That's completely untrue, people ruin the lives of others' all the time.
Yes thats true, but at the end of the day the person who decides how you are going to be is you no matter what happens
The fact that mental health and sectioning exists shows that also to be untrue.
First off, I just wanted to say that I read your entire post in Kenny's voice.
Now... post pics of the married woman in question so we can all collectively decide just how much you fucked up.
Lol I did too, not only because his pic is of Kenny but it just sounds like something Kenny would do and say.
And yeah, I wanna see how she looks, but I doubt he has pics of her.
I haven't done anything recently since I've been in my house for like 2 weeks because I'm on winter break. I did get more brave I guess because I went to my neighbor's house and confronted them about a problem we were having. That previously I wasn't able to do because I was really nervous, but yesterday I just walked over there.
Finishing the Spider-Man 2 on PC like 5 times :P
I wrote IMDb's plot summary for Jurassic World on the official page. Now basically all news wires use IMDb as a source, so I see my summary in the news.
But the person's mental health is still apart of the person. Their view is just different, but it's still there's.
Plus, if you don't think you decide your future, you can ruin your own life. Not a very good way to live, you know?
I didn't kill anyone last year.
You're a good man George.
That sucks, sorry man.
Thank you!
If I would've accepted her offer, I risked the repercussions from her husband, if or when he found out.
And the last a guy wants, is an angry husband after him.
If her husband ever suspected something, all he'd have to do is have a P.I follow her.
Besides, stealing another man's wife ain't right, and it never will be.
Think about if you were married, and how badly you'd feel if your wife betrayed you like that?
Like I said, by not doing so, I still have my self-respect.
And at the end of the day, I gotta be able to live with myself.
But I did......It's too late for me....
But they aren't responsible for it except in very rare circumstances.
I think you CAN decide your future, but murder shows us plainly enough that you don't always.
Wouldn't you have had to marry the woman before sleeping with her anyway, as you believe what the Bible says is correct?
Delivered some puppies the other day, and saved the life of the runt. Poor thing had too much liquid in her lungs and wasn't breathing, she would've drowned had I not worked on her for two hours. I'm really proud of myself for not giving up on her.:)
Uh... I went outside.
I was kind of making a joke, guys.
Are you a vet?
No, but my mom and aunt used to breed German Shepherds, and I've helped deliver a few litters. My friend's dog went into labor at his house, and he asked me to help out just in case there were any complications.
Cool!
What an amazing experience.
You should be proud of yourself, for not giving up on that pup.
Kudos!
Out of curiosity, what exactly did you do, to keep the pup's lungs from filling up with fluid?
I'm considering having my dog, a Golden Retriever, sire some pups.
And that kind of information would be invaluable to have, in case anything goes wrong.
Thanks!
She was one of the last to come out during a 15 hour labor, and the strange thing is she was sharing her amniotic sac, which had broken on it's own, with her sister. Usually puppies have separate sacs, so this wasn't something I've seen, not that I'm an expert per se, but I think that may have been why she had so much fluid in her lungs. Her sister obviously got more nutrients, due to her being so much bigger, so the tiny pup had a lot of trouble moving and crying on her own. I had to alternate putting a bulb syringe aspirator down the little one's throat to suction out the fluid, and rubbing her body with a towel to stimulate movement/keep her crying to help her cough up the liquid. It was a pretty stressful experience, she was just so small and every time she cried you could hear how hard it was for her to breathe. Not gonna lie, I was very close to crying because I thought we were going to lose her. But thank God we didn't, now she'll get to grow up and be someone's best friend.:)
I caught my first shiny pokemon
I ate a kitty cat.
I can definitely understand your being scared through that whole ordeal.
If it's any consolation, I would've been scared too.
But you fought through your fear, and did what needed to be done, and as a result that little puppy will hopefully have a chance to grow up and have the future you described for her.
Have you ever considered working with animals, professionally, like perhaps becoming a veterinarian?
The reasons I ask is, A: You're obviously a very intelligent person. And B: You stepped up and accomplished something that not many people can do. So if you were able to save a newborn pup from drowning in it's own fluids, I would think that you would probably be able to do well at something like veterinary work.
If I remember correctly, I believe you once stated you were going to college, or something like that?
If so, I imagine it would be pretty easy to transfer into a veterinary school, after completing college.
I know if I had gone through an experience like that and come through it successfully, as you did, I might seriously look into veterinary work.
Or some other type of work like that.
I don't know if this is a good thing, but I did an entire book report without reading the book.
I liked your joke, that is why i gave you +1 Yesterday.
I'm proud of managing to civilly resolve a physical 'dispute' I had with a close friend. With some help from a few people here in the forums, of course.
This reminds of me of the Kenny and Lee 'fight' on the train. I pictured that when I read your comment.
The 'dispute' was actually quite similar to the Kenny and Lee fight, yes.
Except my friend's a female.
And we weren't on a train.
