Kenny and Sarah

  • A stable, clever group of people who'd survived for over two years all died in the span of roughly two weeks after meeting Clementine. It's like she's some kind of apocalyptic death omen.

Because they can survive two years, but not Episode 4. Nice going, Telltale.

  • It's the hat, man. I know it.

  • Unfortunately it wasn't Nick. He didn't have a single line in Episode 4, and in fact wasn't even in the credits at the end.

There's unused audio of Nick saying "Get Sarah!" in the herd. I think it was Nick? It sounded like him, but at the same time, it sounded like Luke too.

  • It might've been in Episode 3 when Sarah actually ran off.

  • I personally think that this is both a way of showing how much Sarah was "babied" if you like by her father, and how badly Kenny had started to change. Before Kenny goes nuts, too me it always seems like Sarah is never far from her father, that includes inside the lodge and Carvers camp. Kenny always likes to take the place of the "father" role model when it comes to children who are on their own, guess it reminds him of Duck. However Sarah was not on her own, her father was always there (up until he died of course) and the same goes with Clementine, in season one she already had a strong father figure in place. However when Carlos does die, Kenny of course doesn't really care because Sarita happened to die at the same time, and then when Sarah does go crazy with grief, he doesn't acknowledge her because he is so focused on the baby. I personally think Kenny had become obsessed with the baby, simply because it was the first bit of new life he had seen since Duck basically. I think in Kenny's mind he was so obsessed to have some kind of family even if it wasn't his, that he ended up becoming so focused on it he ignored the fact there was a child in the group who pretty much had no family of her own left. I also think the fact she was about 14 or 15 also influenced this. I personally think this was deliberately done to show how losing everyone had changed Kenny and how focused he was on those who he had lost, instead of those who were still here, and how obsessed he was with this new baby coming so if you like he could have something to "live for" or to protect. That's my theory anyway

I just wish they'd had Sarah use ANY of the stuff Clem taught her in the game. For instance, it would have been a good time for Sarah to fire a gun through the gate literally seconds before she meets her horseshit death scene and it is proven yet again that there are zero REAL influence being exerted by your character at any point during the game aside from the last episode.

I know a lot of people disliked Sarah but I was hoping you could help her through her issues and honestly thought (by the way she was written) maybe she could be helped in a similar way to Clementine when Lee found her and be coached into a better survivor.

Then again I had hoped that you had some effect on the story with your actions this time around so maybe I'm just naive.

  • Then why did she wait until Kenny freaks out to start crying? I think it is because Kenny scared her.

I think she was crying because she was GOING BACK TO CARVER'S.

  • I agree with you. I was really hoping that Sarah could be changed, or maybe Clem could of been of any help to her. However it is a little bit realistic, as I guess not all people would be able to adjust if they had been sheltered from the world going to shit.

I did really hope that she didn't die, I saved her once but on the second time I couldn't really do shit to save her. I was kinda pissed there was no option for her to be saved and I did hope she might end up shooting a gun or something, like Clem did in season 1, or hoped that any of all that stuff Clem said in the cabin might build her back up and help her.

  • It's her BACKPACK!

It's the hat, man. I know it.

  • I think that Carlos probably wouldn't have wanted her around Kenny as much since both groups initially distrusted each other and had growing tension. I also think that Carlos didn't like the way Kenny dealt with things so he wouldn't want his daughter to talk to him since Carlos didn't even like the idea of Clementine talking to Sarah when she first came to the group. When Carlos (and Sarita) died both Kenny and Sarah were too broken to interact with each other, Sarah didn't want to talk to anyone so I don't think they really would have wanted to interact although, you can see Kenny look sympathetic for Sarah when; Carlos has to slap Sarah and when she starts crying in the truck, you can see Sarah react to Kenny getting beaten up by Carver as she looks on in shock.

  • But he did give her a funny look when she commented on the Christmas tree

  • They were talking about Walter's family.

Only thing I can remember, it's when Sarah finds terrible that Kenny lost his whole family.

  • Nop. Walter told them about Kenny´s family was dead and they talked about it

They were talking about Walter's family.

  • Fun Fact: Appearentaly Kenny told Walter about his family , but not Sarita XD

Hmm, must have misinterpreted that conversation then. Thanks for the info.

  • Its cool dude, i'm always re-evaluating the story in games/books i read. Its how i figure out things.

Just thought it was kind of interesting.

  • That is what makes me mad about S2 the most, is they develop these cool characters like Nick/Sarah/Luke ^^ and they kill them off, and they expect us to be okay with that. I mean i would be ok, if their deaths didn't feel wasted/cheap W/E. I didn't really think much about Sarah until she got slapped in Episode 3, then i felt protective for her. Then we have to slap her to save her, (this part really made me mad) then she dies 5 minutes later after professing to Clementine that she has lost her mind...

She dies in one of the most bone chilling death growns, man i heard it happen in real life. That one i still still remember. It gives me the creeps to be honest. Then i find out Clementine didn't even care that Sarah died, she was like whatever. I don't care.

    Thanks TTG :)

  • Yeah that's some real nice work. :) A++
