I've been building a collection of cities and towns on a number of different worlds for about two years now, and I plan to use them as a set… moreting for a Minecraft machinima I'm planning for 2015-2016.
For my first town (which is the oldest developed city): I used the demo seed for the pre-1.6 versions. I built this crappy little ship near the shore and named it after the RMS Olympic. Then as I began clearing away the forest I built a second ship, which I called Britannic (named after the British hospitial ship for WW1). I only just finished my third ship (currently unnamed) and the town this year.

Thanks. I'm working on another project now that's gonna take awhile. My other skyscrapers don't have much of an interior since they're so small, so I've made a 73x73 box which is gonna be the size of my next build. I'm thinking of trying to build one floor a week, and I'm looking at thirty floors for this one. Plus, it's gonna look far more decorative. I'm also going to expand this world so that my two towns are connected.
A airship with a nuclear reactor,a quarry ,a Portal back to ground base and a pull laser to get me back up to the ship,it was really fun to fly around with it stop let the quarry harvest the riches from the ground send them home where they are automatically processed,while i explored the surface,until my computer crashed now it is lost.
