  • I don't get the hate for Roman. I seriously don't. He's a great wrestler, and people judge him on his fanbase and good looks which piss me off. Other than that, I don't get it.

    Cena is understandable, though.

    1) The only creepypasta that ever really creeped me out was the Russian Sleep Experiment with pics. They botched the end by making it too over the top though.

    2) The only shows I really watch much now are Real Time with Bill Maher, QI, and sometimes Crosstalk. I'm really fun at parties.

    3) Hard one; I watch The Young Turks every morning with breakfast; but I actually gave a donation to The Real News. They're totally pinkos, (in all fairness I'm probably a bit of a pinko) but I find their coverage a lot more insightful. For fun, probably Cinemasins...

  • I won't deny that he has the look wwe typically goes for, but he is awful on the mic (just like Cena) and meh okay in the ring at best (he has improved I will give him that.)

  • Cena's mic skills are meh. He just finds a reason to yell and make the crowd cheer.

Roman's barely on the mic, though. But I did manage to snag this:

I finally got around to watching this week's Agent Carter episode tonight. It definitely was a great character building episode for Jarvis. I agree that the setting and the characters are have a lot to do with why this is so good so far. I do like Marvel's Agents of SHIELD too, but this one just seems so much better paced, and so is a lot more fun to watch. I think the fact that they were only given an eight episode order probably has a lot to do with that. If they do get a second season, hopefully they don't pad it out as I don't think it would be quite as fun if it wasn't at such a thrilling pace.

You should definitely watch Quantum Leap a try some time. The "present" time of 1999 (which was the future at the time) is pretty dated now (it's funny looking back at what people thought the future would bring in the late 80's and early 90's). However, the rest of the show is timeless (since they did a great job making it look like Sam really was in the time periods which each episode was set). It got pretty creative in their fifth and final season to try to improve ratings to keep it on the air. Luckily the writers knew what they were doing and most didn't feel like a ratings ploy. Some of my favorite episodes come from the fifth season.

I hope Futurama manages to come back too, but if they don't, at least we got a fitting final episode (which wasn't the case for Quantum Leap, unfortunately. Their final episode was so rushed (because the network only let them know they were cancelled at the last minute) they spelled the main character's name wrong). I'm still holding out hope that one of the writer's ideas to have a new Quantum Leap TV movie in order to fill in the blanks left open by the series finale comes into play. It's probably way too late now, considering that it's been off the air for over 20 years now, but I'm ever the optimist. ;)

  • Kinda reminds me of the Goosebumps series.

  • Yeah, is something like that, just that most of them are very generic horror stories, and some of them are obiously based in other existing charactes.

For example that Jeff the Killer dude is obviously based on The Joker, not only in aspect but also his backstory
