  • Honestly, it isn't that bad where I'm at. Where do you live?

  • Its not that bad where I am but its not good either. I'm just enjoying my extra days off from school because of it

  • It's not bad where I'm at, I am enjoying these days off though.

  • Haven't had any snow here. All the nothern fuckers are getting it.

  • My folks are still in Boston. It doesn't matter because God forbid my mother actually throw anything out- even if the door were to get stuck shut they still have enough food until about 2017.

Though my father said that the snowbanks were taller than him, and I immediately regressed to being a 9 year old and my first thought was "TUNNELS!"

  • Never snowed here.

  • By living in the South. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • no such thing as bad weather only bad clothes

  • I live in Victoria (AUS) so I'm just watching you lot get buried and Queensland get hit by Cyclone Marcia.

  • It doesn't Snow where I live, so...

  • I'm just here burning in the hot beachs of Brazil...

  • Where I live society comes to a screeching halt over a centimeter of snow

  • Its sunny and 50 degrees fahrenheit.

    Not bad.

  • Can't get out of my house, been snowing all day.

  • Haven't been hit too hard by snow, but its been freezing for the last five weeks plus. When I don't have to work, I stay my ass indoors. I'm just about done with winter. I gotta find work in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale or something.

  • Lol come down under! It was 35 degrees Celsius today!

  • The coldest it got here was 6 ºC. No snow and hardly no cold.

  • I had to scrape ice off my driveway yesterday. Today it's warmed up to 26F so far, higher than forecast, and the sun's out, so that's helping a lot.

  • I need to think about moving far north, because 40 degrees is when it starts getting too warm for me. Winter is my favorite season, and I love the snow. I love ice, and piercing wind. No matter what the temperature is I never wear more than an unlined flannel over my t-shirt, and I rarely wear gloves or a hat.

  • I've invited several of my friends to stay at my house so we can all survive together and wait out the storm. When the storm causes the collapse of civilization (I crunched the numbers, we have precisely 2.64 days left until this event), I will be able to save my canned food for even longer once I cannibalize my friends for sustenance. At the rate temperatures have dropped, the cold can perfectly preserve their delicious meaty bits without any help from an actual refrigerator. If I ration them out well enough, I should have several months of food at my disposal. Taking it to extremes, I won't even need to break out the canned food until mid 2017.

  • Want to trade places? It's a brisk -4 where I am. Going to be -11 by the time I get up in the morning. And of course there is snow too, though it's not bad at all.

  • You need to be like all of the other preppers that nearly start riots in grocery stores, and turn 15 minute drives into 3 hour drives. You need to stock up on milk, bread, and eggs. Things that are perishable and will go bad on you so you can die. You're prepping wrong.

  • It's been just like that a lot of days here, but yesterday it went into the 40's. I was roasting while shoveling the snow lol.

My pilot light on my furnace kept going out on Friday after constantly relighting it, and I had to buy space heaters to keep warm until it could get fixed after the weekend. They were only warm enough to heat two rooms, so I bundled up and stuck to those two rooms as much as I could. It wasn't fun considering we're in the middle of the coldest winter I can remember (it's been going to 40 below zero Fahrenheit here at night due to the wind chill factor).

They fixed it this morning, and the house is finally warmed up. It's so nice to have heat again. Although, I'm definitely now more determined than ever to move to a warmer climate.

  • Well since we live in generally the same place... it sucks and still sucks. going outside = hands dry as fuck. But... I got high school called off like 6 times and even had a 2 day school week so yeah. Ohio has batshit crazy weather...

  • It isn't too bad here. Just pretty cold, thankfully the snow let up some recently.

  • No more snow where i live....

  • But I've had all these delicious friends for years, and they finally have a chance to be useful.

  • We're just now seeing bare spots poking out of the snow on the ground, but that's going to be short-lived, as another 5-7 inches of wet, heavy snow is expected tonight.
