For those of you that have seen this movie, am I the only one that thinks it would make an awesome Telltale game? It would be nothing but tough choices and deciding who to trust and who not to trust, which sounds perfect for a TTG. I don't want to say too much for the people that have not watched the movies. What say you?

    I feel that it all depends on how TTG would pull it off. A gane based off The Thing could end up like Jurassic Park and be mediocre, or on the oppisite side of the spectrum end up like The Walking Dead and be awesome.

    I kinda wish TellTale could make some interesting 1 episode games. So they can have sort of a small movie with choices in it, they could also even make the choices more drastic considering its just 1 episode

    I understand you there. I feel The Thing would have a better outcome than Jurassic Park because The Thing is all about trust. Deciding who to be allies with and who to single out. Maybe the people in your group can't be trusted and you have to get out or worse, kill them before it was too late.

    One episode could work for The Thing, but I feel it would be better if it were at least 3 ep's. There would have to some explanation about the alien, mini factions being developed and trust. Trusting someone is a big decision and there would have to be several choices to make you fully trust someone. An original story would be great for a one off. But what makes TTG so great are the choices that carry over where every decision you make could cost you later. Maybe a good one off could be like a slasher movie. 8 people in a mansion trying to figure out who the killer is. That way there is not much to explain. Just who done it. Maybe that's is too much like Clue....wait, that would be a great TTG!

    The Thing is one of my favorite movies. John Carpenter's The Thing, not the newer one or the much older one. And I have suggested this in the 'Telltale should make' thread at least once. Probably more.
