Resident Evil: Revelations 2
I played the first episode on PS4 and I must say it is a really good start so far. It was actually quite challenging at times, particularly the part after when you put the cog in the door (when a lot of zombies come out). Thank god there was a fire machine you could use to fry the bastards lol
I really like Moira, she's pretty funny at times, and Natalia is so cute.

Great episode and can't wait till next weeks episode
Going to wait for all the episodes to come out. Really not a fan of supporting MORE companies adopting the episodic strategy. I wish Telltale would abandon it. I like the first Revelations though, Jill is probably my favorite RE character. Claire and Barry are up there on my list too, but I'm worried from what I have seen that Revelations 2 is going to feel a lot like an escort mission. Should I be worried about this? I worry a lot.
I don't think there's a reason to be worried. It lives up to a survival horror game, in my opinion.
Well the RE games haven't really been survival horror since the Outbreak games, but they're still good action shooters.
I wouldn't call this one an escort mission because remember Claire and Moira was taken as hostages and trying to escape the island. And Barry and Natalia is looking for them as well as dealing with their own conflicts

Now if Claire was working with the enemy to escort Moira to her death place then it'll be an escort mission. RE4 with Leon was the only escort mission because you had to escape and send Ashley back to her father. You'll enjoy this series especially if you're a Resident Evil fan like us
, so no need to worry.
It's Resident Evil from modern day Capcom so that means it's going to suck.
On the other hand, it's got Barry Burton which means it's going to be awesome.
It's similar to their other post RE4 games, but for the price it's good fun. Also, hey look Telltale! A game much more complex that's actually got a release schedule...
Episode 1 is a good start with introducing new game mechanics and a new storyline, but my main concern is how short the first episode is, especially since there's only four episodes in all. I'm hoping that future episodes will be a little longer, otherwise we're looking at a roughly five to six hour long game.
Aside from how short Episode 1 felt, I enjoying the game so far. Item hunting is more fun and less tedious than using the Genesis tool from Rev1, there's more enemy variety and team tactics to use, and both scenarios plays out rather differently in terms of action, tension, and atmosphere.
Here's hoping that Episode 2 won't fail to disappoint.
I can wait to buy the full game when it comes out but I'm really excited. But I watched some game play footage of it etc. I dislike Moira, she is a total hipster and can't say one sentence without cussing. -_-
Plus, as much as I love RE games (mostly because the game play and mechanics are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING IMO) their dialogue can be SOOOOO cheesy.
Anyways, I am definitely going to play it when the hard copy is released next month!
Did anyone else notice that at the 13:45 minutes into the game Claire quotes Steve Burnside from RCVX? ''These guns are more reliable than any person.'' lol

According to the footage they showed in Raid mode with Moira shooting a gun, that's implying that she will grow into a stronger and more serious character. Right now she's a brat, annoying, funny, not as useful as Natalia lol.
I still have hope for her
, and the Resident Evil series always had cheesy lines so that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone

They did it just to piss me off. Just me specifically.
I know I saw her in Raid Mode in her...."Urban Ninja" outfit. So yeah she could be more of a fighter at one point. But, still she gets on my nerves right off the bat.
I know, like, that opening. The Terrasave commercial? WTF CAPCOM?
And I know the series has always had their cheesy moments, I've been playing since RE2 on the N64, but, seriously, this one has some of the worst already IMO. Or maybe that's just because Barry Burton is a cheesy guy..

I can't wait for episode 4. These last 3 episodes have been awesome and have given me faith in the series after the shit-show that was Resident Evil 6.
Yeah, I'm finally all caught up with this game and so far I'm really loving it. A breath of fresh air after RE6.
