Little update. I decided to spread out the chapter a little more. 6-2 is about 12 pages (it's been another wild month) and 6-3 is about 18 pages (that's next month). 6-2 will be shocking and amazing.
Some some things I like to clear up. I counted up individuals that I'm aware of who reads the comic and it's approximately over 110 users. All these people will be notified directly by me in a group pm. Now about the progress:Part 6-2 is not entirely complete yet, but it's NEARLY FINISHED. By tomorrow I'll be finished the lineart. Then it's straight to grayscale, dialogue and the cover! I know I am noticeably slower than I started out but I can assure you I'm working my ass off. I kept myself away from everything as much I could to focus, to keep my concentrate on this issue and the next. I still am going to be on less until I get this chapter done. One thing is for sure, you're going to get some good stuff to look at very soon.

Life caught up to me and i got a 5 day everyday job and i just couldn't find the time to go on these boards to check out the comic and how you people are doing. Actually, wait. Scratch that, i just didnt find the time. I could've. I kinda feel bad about it.
It's not like i owe something to random strangers on the internet, but at the end of the day i've been provided with a lot of entertainment out of this fanmade comic, and i guess it was time for me to write something. I'll try checking the page at least once a week, but i can't hold any promises. And now, i will provide you with some info on what i've been up to.
So, the last time i checked this forum was in the summer, just before the release of S2EP5. Not a lot of people were on, and the computer at my summer job (receptionist in a 3-star hotel) was pretty darn slow. I couldn't download anything on it and there was no sound, so all i could do is read some stuff when i didn't have clients. I read some other game forums, chatted with friends and so forth. Sometimes i was busy going out with friends, because isolation can drive anyone insane. After that job wrapped up i went to my new university (i study journalism), met a lot of cool people, studied, partied and generally did your average things for every 19 year old. As far as gaming and my "computer life", i played some games i still play to this day from time to time, mainly L4D2. I got into Payday at some point, and it was awesome too.
But the coolest thing i did online is what many of you would consider extremely boring. And it really was, at times. But for me it was the best way to escape reality. (Note: I don't want to escape reality, i am actually quite good with handling it, but TBH movies and games are mainly used by people who want their brain to calm down after a hard day of work/frustrating experience)
You all know Garry's Mod, i would presume.
So, there are these servers on Gmod that are basically "Serious Roleplay Servers", in which you create your own character. You write a name, description, think of a backstory for him/her, choose a 3D model, edit it in an ingame program(if the server has it) to make him/her look just like you want them to etc. And the character i created became pretty famous in the community i was in. And i came here to tell you some stuff about him. Let the nerdy-ness begin.
All Serious RP Servers have a theme to them. Like Halo RP, Medieval RP, Starship Troopers RP, Real-life like RP etc.
The server(s) i was on were Last of us RP. So basically, you're in the TLOU universe with a character you created and you develop him more than TV Rick Grimes on steroids. You have to be In Character all the time in the chat, but there is an OOC(Out of character chat) that you can use to write anything you want. The regular chat however is like everyone on the server is writing a book, meaning all their dialogue and actions go there. Yeah, you can't go around shooting people, and even if you did have a gun, you need to RP shooting someone by writing everything while keeping some rules in mind. Its nothing hard to learn, and if you're that kind of person, you will enjoy this.
Meet Mark Cassidy. A guy in a black leather jacket who wears a latex zombie mask with half of a skull attached to the mask's front. Edgy.
His story, well, it's a long one, but here is the simple version. He was originally created because i was tired of my previous characters(I recreated Negan in TLOU and he was awesome, but nothing can beat mark) and i wanted a generic bad guy cannibal. You heard me right, he was a cannibal. My first RP with him was actually one of my best RPs ever. I stalked three people, trapped them in a house and when they tried to escape, i captured one of the girls and wanted to do a hostage trade type of thing. Pretty fucked up, you would think. Mark's name at the time was "Carcass" because why the fuck not. It evolved from Carcass to Marcass, because it was a bit more like a real name. And from that, me and my ingame friends went for Mark Cassidy in the end. His real name doesn't matter, because Mark Cassidy does the trick. So what happened in that situation was that after getting stabbed in the shoulder with a knife, the girl he was holding had Mark's meat hook signature weapon slit her throat, and she died. I did a visual recreation in gmod for my original character post which got lost in the deleted RP forum boards.
So yeah, he got dragged inside while the girl was left out there to die(the other two didnt know her, she was just travelling with them) and he was surprisingly not killed that day. Instead he got interrogated and his backstory touched the same girl that stabbed him in the shoulder, and they made out a deal that he could follow her around, act as a bodyguard and whatnot, and she would make him human again. See, Mark was 25 at the time, but his psyche was that of a 10 year old. You could say he was uh...pretty dense. Anyways, he travelled with the girl, earned her trust and eventually stopped eating people and even joined a major faction. From that point on, there was a server change and everyone had to remake their characters for the new server. I wasnt the only one who migrated to the new server, so i would see some old friends from time to time.
Weeks passed, and i played him almost every night. I met a ton of other characters, joined a big group in the end and became something similliar to Daryl on TWD TV Show. At least that was my reputation. I made other characters, who were blood relatives to Mark, who wanted to bring him back to his old ways and make him kill his new friends. You could say i roleplayed a whole family of redneck cannibals.
Mark made a lot of friends, killed a lot of bad people, dealt with conflicts with other factions, comforted his best friend when he'd lost his wife, helped a 15 year old girl with her anxiety problems, helped a girl who had lost her mind find meaning in life again, resulting in her becoming his girlfriend(see picture 1 #imnotbraggingitsjustafemale3dmodelplayedbyaguy) and he also never tasted human flesh again. He became smarter, and could form full sentences. He learned how to read, too. He was always a stand-in leader when he had to. He was kinda like my character in Tobi's comic, Pete/Nekrocop/Peterocop. The guy with enough leverage from his past to pull everyone else around him forward. Talk about a random bad guy character designed to die in the first hour of play becoming fucking Jesus in terms of development.
So you might be wondering why im sharing this with you. Well, the server is down and i dont think anyone has made a new TLOU rp at the time of this post. So yeah, Mark is still alive, but i can't play him. Most of the info i have of him is in my head(i can write a book about him, really) and screenshots of him and some of his friends on my Steam page. I just thought that i would put him here, since i am quite attached to the character and what i did with him.
Enough about gaming and storytelling. As far as my real life, i got some university exams coming up so i took a break from my current job. I work at a company who does outsourcing for eBay, basically the guys who sort the products on eBay and make it so that whenever you search something on the website you get the right results. I get files for the german locale of eBay most of the time, but i get US and UK too, even Australian files. It's and 8 hour job, and you pretty much just sit at a computer looking at Microsoft Excel for most of your day. I just do my job mechanically while listening to music, self development seminars and creepypastas. P.S If anyone knows a cool audiobook, preferably on Youtube, send me a link and i'll check it out when i'm working.
After work i just go out with some people to some bar or something, talk to random women and generally try to have fun. I also do movie nights with my main group of friends, and we usually watch some retro junk like They Live. Anyways, i guess that about does it on my life/occupations update, both IRL and in the World Wide Web. You can find me on Steam sometimes, and i will try to be on these boards more often. Also, keep your fingers crossed for a new TLOU server, since i stopped playing for a month and the server was gone. Now Marks stuck in oblivion, A.K.A my head. It would be cool to see him again in some way other that old screenshots.
