My Sims Story: WELFORE
In the Whatever's On Your Mind megathread, over the course of several months I've worked on making users into Sims in my Sims 4 game. I made them and built their home. I posted their sims and homes there. But soon I felt the inspiration to make a story out of it. Which I did. And that story is this one called Welfore. So let's bring up the details, shall we?
Setting
Welfore. A large suburban town with cheery blossom and long pine trees, farm lands, and a mountain in the back in which mines are worked within. Near the mountains is a large pond, serving as home to many animals. The college is the most successful college in the county and is huge. The town is large and vast, with rough streets to beautiful beach houses. A large shore resides in the front with many small islands in a distance, a cozy beach for everyone to relax in under the sunset. On the beach is a lighthouse with a circus nearby.

Story
The story has four perspective stories that will connect. It's not all about the action, it's more about interaction with people, and life.
(@Azlyn)** Marissa Captor**: Marissa finally moves into Welfore with her brother to seek success in Welfore College after succeeding in high school. She struggles to become accustomed in the college with the work load, and drama in which she got involved in, causing a target on her head by some other students. However she makes some new friends and tries to make something more out of her life. Bonds are formed, and trust is tested, suspicion arises, causing her to rethink her actions and those around her. And she asks herself; what's meaning in life if we suffer?
(@Dont_Look_Back) Elisa Byers: Elisa is a resident of her friend, Madison, living in her beach house with other friends, partying and enjoying life. Life is fun in the beach house but life sucks outside of it. Especially school, and when she finds out that a relative gone missing. Desperately, she searches for her brother, as well as trying to succeed in college, struggling emotionally and mentally. And to be icing on top, she must help her best friend, Rebecca, in trying to save a pond that served as memories of her family. But things are a lot more complicated than just memories, as they'll soon find out.
(@Gustav_Kenny) Aaron Colleti: Aaron is another student in College, living in the dorms. Aaron is aiming to win the football tournament to bring glory to his college, and gain respect and recognition in the sports industry. However he must face several complicated in the mix. A rival team trying to sabotage his team, Timothy trying to steal his girlfriend, Kaitlyn. And speaking od Kaitlyn, he finds out that she is in major debt to a gang and must find a way to get her out of it.
(@LeeTheProfessional) Lee Cordevar: Lee has recently opened the Investigation Team last month, making a record of successfully resolved cases. He and his colleagues, work on solving one case they haven't succeeded in yet. There is a gang, the Holland Mafia, that's been untouchable for a long time. Lee is determined to finally take them down. But another problem arises as word of disappearances occurring. As they delve deeper, they learn things are more complicated than once thought to be.
Some food for thought I am releasing a chapter (or maybe more than one? hmmm) every Friday. I'll work on the chapter(s) on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights. I also got a comic I'm making, and with this I can keep motivated on both and not got bored on doing the single same thing all the time. My comic thread is right here if you like to check that as well. But anyway I hope you guys enjoy this.

First chapter will be released SHORTLY this morning!

Chapter One: Settlement
It's so cold. All I see is black bark from trees dead in the freezing atmosphere. Water streams below my feet, rolling down in front of me a river flows. Where am I...? It's so dark, I can barely see. I keep turning my head around, left and right, looking for something to stand out in this darkness. I stand still, holding my arms tightly, breathing heavily. Don't panic. There must be something... CAW! a crow made a sound behind me all the sudden. I quickly jumped, and turned around, expecting to see a crow fly off. But... I don't understand, there's no crow! Where is it? I notice something in a distance down the long dark path in the woods. A squinted to look closer at it. It's shaped a little like a cabin, there's these square shapes glowing yellow light from it. Maybe I can go--
'Marissa...'
Huh? I swear I heard a voice.
'Marissa.'
Now I see black. As if my eyes instantly closed on its own without my control. I open my eyes a bit. Ugh, so blurry! I can barely see crap. I try to look around but everything is so smudged out. Sigh.... Ah, now I'm getting vision back! I look at a figure next to me in what we seem to be in our jeep. I look a little harder, and it was my older brother, Toby.
Toby, is like... uhm.... 7 years older than me. Shit, how can forget my brother's age! He's 25! Nice, Marissa, you sure know how to keep track with your family members. Toby's still looking pretty young still. His skin is almost as pale as mine, we both don't go out in the sun that much. He lost some weight finally and he's pretty proud of it. I'm proud of him too. He's got medium long hair, letting the bangs cover his forehead and part of his right eye. Thankfully he wears them glasses. His hair also covers his ears a bit, causing him to get itchy. He likes the hair though. He always keeps his face shaved 'cause he hates his "shitty beard", it goes bit curly and misses a few patches. His eyes are brown, but they always look like they're on fire. Tense but warm as well. Under his eyes always look a little purple, and they look like they have scales. Weird. His cheeks are a bit plump, and I enjoy pinching them. Heheh. He always wears blue plaid button up shirts with sleeves rolled up to his elbow. Under his shirt is a t-shirt, then a tank top. God how can he wear so much! I'd sweat like crazy, but he's not! And he always wears different colours of jeans, he says their useful for holding stuff. And he loves his black laced up leather shoes, since they're comfy and fits his giant, size 15 feet. Unfortunately he doesn't know how to tie laces so guess who's got to do it. Finally, on his wrist is his anime watch that has a laser with it. I gave it to him on his birthday I never see him go without it since then. Darn it, I spaced out again.
Toby has his elbow against the edge of the door, with his fast gently on his face which lays on it, looking straight at the road. He turns to me with a soft, gentle smile. He asks with a light, youthful voice 'Hey, Marissa. Slept well?' he turns back to long road, that has rocks and cliffs to my side, and a slope on his left with a forest down below.
I shift my body, sitting up straight. My poor back hurts, it's so uncomfortable when you slouch on these seats. Yawn. So tired. I'm still bothered by that dream. It happens all the time; something like that one. Still... it felt different. I shouldn't tell him though, he'd get worried. I look at him while trying to look bothered, I speak with a little crackly voice from the dry throat 'Okay. Nothing special.'
Toby glances at me with a curious look. But he shrugs the thought off and looks back at the road. I almost thought he suspected something. Oof, I feel something on my face. I look at the sunblind, or whatever you call it, and I flip it down to block the sun from the windshield, and revealing the mirror to me. Sigh, there's my ugly mug again. Long messy black hair, so messy that a kid said I had "woosh hair". He made my day, hehe. Still, I get so many tangles. But I wear a black "NY" cap to cover the mess, and well, I like hats. My big, wide, brown eyes just staring deep into me. My little, soft nose filled with abominations of my insides. My wide mouth... yup, totally can swallow a rabbit whole. A little dimple on my chin. And my big, squared, brown glasses. I hate them but they're helpful. And I'm wearing my grey Walking Dead Hoodie with "CORAL!" on the back with majestic beard king, Rick Grimes on the front. Under it is a black shirt which is so comfy. My dark, dark blue jeans with a little tear on the right thigh. I wear a black belt with silver studs to make me a little flashy at least. And my black and red Nikes, gotta love these shoes. So my clothes matches better than my face basically. Oh....
Toby speaks to me, he's got a proud, joyful tone. 'Still... I can't believe you're finally going to college. I'm so proud of you! My little sister, all grown up.'
I turn to him, making an awkward smile, he always does this when I do something that's big to him. 'Please, you're embarrassing me.'
Toby looks at me 'Aw, don't be like that. You deserve all the praise. You worked long and hard, and finally you won! Now, we're on way to your next step...' he turns back to the road with a prideful smile 'Welfore.'
Yup, we're moving to this town called Welfore, it has a college I entered. It's the cheapest yet best we could get. I hope it's worth it, I have doubts. Toby is pretty optimistic about it but I'm not entirely sure . Will it be good? Tough? Hellish nightmare? I dunno. I will just have to wait and find out. All the other schools I've been to... I never really fitted in. People always looked at me weird and laughed at me for being different. I doubt it's going to be any different. Sigh I hate people.
'So how do we know where to look? The college? Our apartment? You got a map, don't you?' I ask him. I have no clue where's where.
Toby responds to me, thinking carefully on what he remembers. ' It's a pretty big place. We got a circus, beach houses, a forest, a pond, mines in the mountains, a beach, and islands. Our home should be in one of the, I guess you can say, "messier" streets of the town. The college is near the beach and downtown, so you can have a good time during time away from class.'
'"Messier"? Shit, sounds like a trash heap. Great. Well, at least the college area sounds pretty good.' I say with some exasperation on the first part.
'Don't worry. It's not THAT bad at our home. They got a pizza store down the street, so we can have pizza every Friday!' he says excitingly. He sure loves that pizza. He never gets tired of it, he once ate 2 boxes himself and he never gained weight! How the hell?!
He reaches for me, I gaze at his hand coming towards me. He taps my forehead with his two fingers, they stung a little. 'We got this, Marissa. I believe in it.' He looks at me with a reassuring look. I look at him, just wanting to believe in that.
Something catches the corner in both of our eyes in the road ahead. It's a town. It's so beautiful. I can stop staring in awe. The town looks so homely, a mix of aging and new buildings. Further in the distance is the college, with a big mall next to it. On the left of it is the beach with beach houses nearby and a circus. And a lighthouse next to the circus but a little up the hill. In the ocean there's little islands. The farms are past the town with a mountain and forest in the distance as well. It's really something, I haven't seen anything like it. I heard there was a pond here but it must be out of sight.
'Well, Marissa...' he speaks and look to him, 'we're finally here.'
It's been at least 3 hours since we arrived this morning. We finally are here in our apartment. On the way we passed some pretty cool places, like a anime store, and arcade, and this "all you can eat" place. Yum! The streets were a bit rough looking, the roads gone to shit with the cracks. Surprise we didn't went into a hole on the way. The apartment is actually pretty clean, only a few stains on the carpet in the main the room, and a cracked window in my bedroom. The whole living room is spacious and is connected with the kitchen which has the appliances already installed. The living room has a beige-brown carpet and the walls are sky blue, the ceiling is the colour of the carpet, and there's a large window at the end. In the back is the kitchen with similar colours for the walls and ceiling, but the floor checkered with black and white floorings. The cupboards are pretty big with a nice brown colour, next to the is an old stove with stained grease on top, and next to that is our big fridge that opens the doors in a vertical split. Past the kitchen is the hall to the exit, our bathroom, my brother's room , and my room. My room is pretty cozy. The wallpaper has red waves on it all around, a wine red rug, a window on the front wall with white curtains, and opposite to that is my door and my closet. In the middle is my uncovered queen size bed my brother managed to get in thanks to the help of our neighbour, named Elian. He seemed nice. But I wouldn't put it pass me that he's actually a dick. It's so hard to trust people. I got a bunch of boxes on my bed. I gotta organize stuff while Toby is busy carrying up stuff with Elian and another guy who brought the trailer full of our stuff. He was there before us. He looked kinda... creepy.
As I was looking through one of the boxes I noticed a framed photo. I took it out, examining it by holding it straight out. It's the family photo of me, Toby, and our parents. Sigh. Just looking at it makes me miss them so much. I sit down, stopping all I was doing, looking at the photo. Our parents used to argue a lot when us two were younger, it kept getting worse and worse. Eventually one point Dad cheated on her, and when she found out... it wasn't pretty. They got divorced and Dad moved out. I haven't heard from him since. Years later, Mom died from breast cancer when Toby was 20 and I was 13. Toby took care and raised me after that. He tried real hard for me and got into his dream job as a manga artist to support us both. Just... I miss Mom and Dad so fucking much. I can feel my eyes getting watery and I wiped them off. I stopped staring at the photo before I get teary again, and lay the photo on the side of the bed. I stood back up off the bed and turned to all my shit laying on it.
I muttered to myself, 'Well... this is going to be fun.'

Chapter Two: Life Educated
Here I am, sitting at my desk. My math notes scattered with my equipment, other classmates bickering non-stop and the teacher trying to get everyone's attention. We're supposed to be learning advanced algebra, which is really the easiest thing I've ever done. The room around me has calm blue paint on the brick walls, white ceiling with energy saver light bulbs in the lamps. Our desks are clean, wooden, and the chairs are suprising comfortable. There's about 24 desks in the whole room; I sit in the far corner on the right of the room. Behind him are shelves full of notes and assignments, text books and other things. And a file cabinet at the other corner in the end by the windows with blinds blocking the sunlight all across the left side of the room. At the end of the room is the teacher's big, shiny, wooden desk cluttered with pencil holders, writing equipment, papers and books, with behind the desk is the chalkboard written with our current lesson on it. The room is filled with many students chatting, and using their phones to text, the teacher, Mrs. Almagene, is trying to get their attention while I'm just sitting here working on our current lesson.
It's been 3 days since me and Toby finally settled in this town, and I just joined the college yesterday. We finally got everything unpacked and enjoying our new home. Tobi is getting to know our neighbour; Elian is a bit of klutz. He broke his lamp as we entered his apartment. But he gave us a good meal, he doesn't often get visitors. That kinda sucks, none of my friends ever visits me either. Toby right now is working on a new chapter of his manga, it's selling big so we're getting plenty of currency to keep us going. As for me, the college is basically the same as every other school in my life, just more wild. Aren't we supposed to be mature? No? Okay. But I can say I met some people that seems alright (keep you gaurd up, Marissa), who's in this very classroom. There's this guy who's apparently a quarterback in the college's football team: the Buffalos, his name is Aaron I think. Then there's this girl named Kaitlyn, she's pretty quiet but I've seen her with Aaron a lot. Maybe they're...? Nah. Probably not. And a guy, who's pretty relaxed and funny, his name is Malcom. I heard he does parties, not like I'm going to any.
After some time, class ended as the bell rang. Everyone quickly got up, packed their shit and left. I took my time packing up, I had spare so why should I rush? Besides... it's not like anybody's waiting for me. I packed up everything except my assignment which I finished. I took my book bag , left my desk and headed up to Mrs. Almagene. She looked at me, noticing my approach. 'Ah, Marissa! Finished you're assignment already?' she says with enthuasiasm.
'Yeah,' I hand the assignment over, 'it was pretty easy. ' I said confidently.
She looks at my assignment, carefully studying it for any errors. I look at with a raised eyebrow, curious if I screwed up somewhere. Mrs. Almagene originated from Maddagascar she told me. She has dark skin, a bit chubby, around her 40s, light brown curly hair tied in a pony-tail, small stern eyes. Almost like they pierce into your mind for answers. She always wears elegant clothing when I see her, a long sleeve sweater that holds onto her shoulders loosely with a white shirt underneath it. She wears a green jeweled necklace, and larged hooped earings, and her diamond wedding ring on her left hand's finger. And a long purple skirt with dark high heels. I can tell she tries to look professional and takes pride in it.
Mrs. Almagene's face wrinkles up as her face shifts to that of being impressed. YES! 'Very good, Marissa. Everything's perfect. You really know your stuff.' she looks at me, impressed, as she puts the papers on her desk.
I look at her with a calm expression 'Thanks. Just doing what I know best.' I shrug at the boast.
'Now that's the attitude, girl. Do what is the best move for you. Remember: life is like chess; strategy with opportunity is the key to have a fulfilling life.' she says to me, pointing at me to gesture a point I should take into consideration. I never heard of anyone say something like that before. Kinda cool.
'I'm need to get going now. See you later, Mr. Almagene.' I say to her as I turn to walk to the door. I think she
s okay but I don
t like to be in a dragged out conversation right now.'Oh, okay. You behave yourself now, Marissa.' she says to me with awkwardness from my sudden departure. I leave the classroom, I didn't see her face. I hope I didn't bother her. I just... sigh.
I close the door behind me, and take breath out. I feel so nervous around strangers, I just want to have a moment alone. Just remember what Toby said to you; everything works out eventually.
I just stand in the busy halls of the college. Lots of students walking around, talking to each other, playing, studying with teachers walking to the teacher lounge after a long day's work. The hall is lively and clean. Posters on walls and corkboards. Automatic doors between halls. Red lockers on either ends. Many doors to classrooms. And a staircase to my right with an elevator nearby for the ones who gotta use wheelchairs. Everyone's doing something and I'm just standing there looking like an idiot.
'BOO!' a voice yelled into my right ear. It stung so bad and I panicked, closed my eyes as I swinged my left hand to the sound hoping to shut it up. And SLAP! I hit a surface of soft skin; someone's face. I opened my eyes to look.
I see a male wearing a denim vest with a black hoodie under it and a red button up shirt with little of the chest visible. The pants were grey chinos with a black strip on either end. Black and white sneakers. I look up to get a clear view of the face. He's got blond hair with some of it pointing up like a mohawk. He has a strong looking face with large cheekbones. His eyebrows were brown and his light hearted eyes were hazel. His nose was a bit crooked. Wait a minute... OH SHIT! IT'S MALCOM!
I quickly remove my hand from his face in panic. 'I'M SORRY! I didn't know it was you!' I sorta squeeled. His right cheek is all red with the hand making a mark. He looks ready to tear up from the pain on his face. He sniffs up some ick from his nose that was knocked out. Ew.
'Ummm, good to see you again, Marissa.' he says with a dumbfounded look of what just happened. I feel so horrible for doing that but he shouldn't have scared me. We recently met the other day.
'So...' he massages his cheek, 'what's up?' he asks me.
'The ceiling.' I said with no interest. He chuckled though. 'Why'd you scared me?' I ask him.
'Well you looked spaced out so I thought I'd get your attention the easiest way.' he says with wide eyes. I give him a dull look; clearly there was other ways to grab my attention.
'But anyway, I wanted to ask you if you want to join me and some others in playing Magic in the cafeteria. You'd like to play with me and the others?
Could be fun.' he looks at me with a hopeful look that I would join. Please don't look at me like that, Malcom.
'Malcom... I'm sorry, but I can't join you. Things to do.' I tell him. I'm not confortable being surrounded by a bunch of people.
'Aww. You sure?' Malcom tries to get me to join.
'Yeah. Sorry. I'll see you around.' I say to him, trying not to get my nerves to build up.
He stands there, disappointed. 'Alright. I'll catch you later then.' He walks off to the left end of the hall way and turns to the corner, until he's no longer in sight. I walk the opposite way and head up stairs. I end up on the first flight of the staircase where a large window as the wall stood before me.
I walk over to the window and put my forearm against the cold glass. I look out the window to see sunny, green yard of the college with trees, benches down there. Students doing random stuff in the yard. Past the yard is the road, and past that are these tennis courts that the college is allowed to use.
Ugh, just... Look at yourself, Marissa. You keep turning away from chances to meet people and make friends. You can't make friends if you're going to hide in a hole forever. But how am I supposed to do that when I get nervous as fuck when I get in crowd? I lay my head against the window, just feeling so confused. How am I going to do this? Damn it.
I look out the window by peering my eyes, I see a blonde girl and a brunette looking up at me from down below on the yard. The fuck you looking at?

CHAPTER THREE: WALK WITH ME
Me and my friend, Rebecca, looks up to a window of the college at the right end. There's a girl with dark wavy hair and a cap, who's looking back at us.
Rebecca asks me 'What's up, Elisa?' while looking at the direction I'm looking at.
'Hm? Oh, it's just I recognize that girl in the window. She's that newbie; Marissa Captor I think her name was.' I reply to while continuing to look for a moment at the girl then I turn to Rebecca. 'Anyway, let's just get moving.'
Rebecca nods with a little smile, and then we walk aimlessly on the courtyard. On our right is the college. It has an ultra-modern design to it, many windows that reflect the sunlight on our left. The college has the four buildings. The one we're at is the main building with all the classes and such. It's got an ugly light brown colour or whatever the fuck it is. The smaller building on the left of it is the greenhouse, with a fence connecting from it to the building. Trying to make a prison? Behind both of those buildings is the place for athletic activities; the gym, swimming pool, weights room, etc. And the right of the main building is the dorms, which is shaped liked an 'L'. On half is for boys, one half is for girls. But does that stop any boy and girl going to each other's dorms? Nope.
I look at the fountain next to us to see my reflection. A Caucasian girl with long blonde hair with some black streaks, blue eyes. My eyebrows are brown instead of blonde. Thanks, genes! Soft looing face but I got hard cheekbones. Still pretty thin for since I was a kid. Mother fed me well. I'm wearing my loose over the shoulder green shirt with black stripes. Black tank top under it. Wearing a undone grey denim jacket with rolled sleeves. My shiny steel necklace with a celtic cross. It's wearing out though. Distressed dark blue jeans with some holes at my knees and one on my right thigh. And black and blue some skater shoes.
Next to me is my life BFF, Rebecca Edwards. She's a mix of Caucasion, Mexican, and Asian. She has long black hair that was gracefully groomed, some of it hangs on the right side of her face. Covering it. Thin-ish eyebrows that arch at the ends. Slightly angled eyes with black-winged eyeliner. Wearing purple stretched sweater that hangs by her shoulders, with a little pattern of... something on it. I have no clue. She wears a wite v-neck t-shirt under it. Bangles on her left wrist. Blue jeans and some puffy red and white sneakers. We've known each other since we were little. We always had a fun time and always had each other's backs when trouble could be around the corner. Out of everyone, I trust her the most. Always.
'So, how goes the swimming lessons?' Rebecca asks me. We were busy talking about our classes before I saw the girl. I look away from the fountain and back at her.
'Pretty dandy. I basically outswam everyone today. Ha ha, it was great. That bitch, Lilian was jealous. Her face was priceless!' I respond with pride. Lilian Caul is some red head jerk who acts like a-know-it-all, tries to make herself look superior, will get jealous if you're better at something than, and so on.
'Hey, don't swear!' Rebecca pouts for me saying "bitch". I keep forgetting. She never liked that word since she was called that herself by some of her so-called friends before we met. One day when Bec was fed up, she threw a filled trash can at both of them, knocking them down and not only getting trash all over them, but mud as well! LOL! And that was the last time she was with them.
'Sorry.' I say with an apologetic smile 'It's just... ugh! She keeps pissing me off!' I clunched my fists feeling like I want to punch Lilian if she was in front of me.
'I know, I know. Just try not to go Michael Myers in front of me.' Bec jokes.
'Do you really see me weilding a knife around with a mask?' I joke, not feeling much anger now.
'Hmmm....' she actually thinks about it.
'Oh my god! Ha ha!' I laugh about her even thinking that possibility.
We walk up to a buildboard between these two trees. We both look at all the cluttered papers, posters, and other... well... clutter. One large poster stands out though. It has has a black background. It shows of a man with grey-turning brown hair tied back, a scruffy beard that's the same colour as his hair, thick eyebrows, strong looking face, large chin, brown eyes, in his late fifties. Wearing a black suit with white stripes, light blue shirt with a purple tie. And a red diamond broache on the collar. He's smiling with pride with arms crossed, as he looks up. This guy's the chairman of that mining company who takes base here (been here even before I was born). The guy's name is Tucker McCavish. Below him is the name of his company "Welfore Mining Corp." in bold yellow text with a metal look. And on the left of the poster says "November 1st, take a tour inside the building where our land began. Come to history teacher, Mr. Rogerbills, for more information and signing for tour.'
Next to that is... oh, fuck me... It's a missing person poster. It's a 12 year old boy. He... He has short wavy blonde hair, freckles on his cheeks... soft blue eyes that's just full of light. Smiling with his braces, not a care in the world. He's wearing his favourite green polo with white stripes. It's my brother... Alex. He's been missing for a month. He went out with his friends to a restaurant for someone's birthday but when he split from the others. He disappeared... I.. been searching for him ever since. And still no luck...
Bec slowly turns to me with a worried look 'Elisa...?' I just stare at it with guilt. I should've been there!
HONK! HONK! 'Hey, girls! We're here! Ready to go home?!' A jeep signals us, and one of our friends, Brandon Jamerson, called to us.
'Come on. Let's just get going.' I tell her with an empty voice, turning to our left and heading to the street across from us. Rebecca soon followed me as we head to our friends who are across the road. Me and Bec walk up to our friends.
Brandon has short chestnut hair with bangs that covers a little of his forehead, just the top anyway. Like my brother he wears braces. He's got a little scar on his right cheek. Bushy eyebrows and hazel eyes. He's kinda.... cute... actually. Umm.... yep. Ahem He's 19. He's wearing a beige button up shirt with an eagle design that spreads from his chest to his shoulders. Dark blue jeans, with black work shoes. And a silver watch on his right wrist. His uncle gave him that. He likes to have a Hawaiian kind of look. Brandon and I met here in high school. We've been good friends. He's pretty relaxed, loves to work out, a good cook, and loves to host a gaming channel on Youtube.
On his right is Madison Wright. She's got this beautiful long black hair that has bangs covering the right side of her forehead, looped onto the side, with hair often on her shoulders, looking all wavy. She's got big black eyes with sort of thin eyebrows that looks fierce. Her lips are kind of plumpy. She often wears eye shadow and wears light pink lipstick. She's 20 I think. She's wearing a strapped blue dress with frills on the torso that hangs down. Blue high heels. Some earing studs, and a 3 green gem necklace. Madison is pretty rich and owns a beach house. We met in middle school long ago and were friends. When she got a house of her own, she took me, Brandon, Rebecca, and Jake in. I'll be forever grateful of that.
Oh, speaking of someone. On Madison's left is Jake Hurley. His brown hair is short and curly, he doesn't let it grow too much. Soft eyebrows, green eyes. A moustache. Small ears. In his twenties. He wears a black zipped up hoodie with a orange t-shirt under it. Distressed blue jeans, and some colourful sneakers. Like a rainbow, sorta. Jake is.... "different". He had an accident that changed his life forever. But he's always so happy and fun loving. Like a little kid. Maddi and him go way back. He couldn't get a job and was homeless so Madison took him in.
We walk across the road with Rebecca a little behind me. I was half way across when I heard a vehicle that was parked on the side started moving. I turned back to Bec and noticed a dirty, banged up blue Chevrolet truck was moving at her. My eyes widened. The driver isn't paying attention! SHE'S GOING TO GET HIT! The others noticed too. 'REBECCA! TRUCK!' I screamed at her to warn her as soon as possible.
Bec turned her head by the alert and saw the truck coming at her. She gasped in shock and me, the others too, moved to her quickly. Then the truck driver looked back at the road and was surprised by Bec being in front him. I noticed immediately the guy stepped on the brakes and the tires screached as the truck slowed down. And then it stopped at her where she pressed her heads on the bumper. Thank god! Me and the others ran to her.
'Hey, dipshit! Watch where you're going, will you?! You almost hit me!' Bec bangs on the truck in frustration for almost getting hurt. I don't blame her. I'm pissed too.
'Hey, girlie! Ya weren't even 'round when I looked! Maybe if yer looked to see if there was someone in a ride or something maybe yer wouldn't have almost gotten hit!' the trucker yells back at her with this awful accent.
'What?!' Bec says in exasperation.
'Are you kidding me, geezer?! You started the truck and went without looking, you fucking dumbass!' I yell at him in disbelief of what he's saying as he looked at me with a dirty look. I wanted to beat the shit out of him.
Brandon grabs my shoulder and I looked at. 'Come on, you two. You aren't going to get through this guy's skull.' He says to us while looking at me with calmed look. I just look at him, thinking. He's right. I shrug his grasp off my shoulder.
'Thick skulled you mean.' I say to him. I turn to Bec who's still pissed, 'Come on, Bec. Let's get home.'
'Yeah.. okay.' she says to me, trying to calm down. We all head to our red SRT8 jeep. While we walked I felt the old bastard's glare on us. I grinned and threw the middle finger at him while still looking forward. Must've pissed him off as he screeched his tires and drove off. Ha ha, screw you. We all got in the jeep. Me and Bec were in the middle row, Brandon was in the back, Jake and Madison were in the front with Madison being the driver. We all buckled up, and I turned on the little tv in the vehicle so we could watch some Walking Dead. The engine started and then we went. Can't wait to get home.
