Yeah, but it still ruins the concept of choice to an extent. Seeing some of the outcomes made me rewind almost every time, I would rather not being able to fix my own mistakes and live with them.
Dark Souls because so many nerds worship that damn game and act like it's the best thing ever, when in reality you literally have to go seeking out the story. Also, the aspect of absolutely no directioning is not good game design in my opinion, but the fanboys of that game always manage to defend that very pathetically.
Kingdom Hearts because it has the most immature writing I've ever seen in a video game. People say it's for littler kids, but there's no way kids of an age on par with the maturity level in that game would be able to play it that well.
Halo because I find the atmosphere incredibly boring, and that series never drew me in.
Dark Souls, Kingdom Hearts, and Halo.

I was actually going to buy it till I saw the last trailer for episode 1. I feel more likely than not if you're not a teenager, or can't relate to that setting you probably won't like the game. (hence why I didn't buy/play it)

Original gameplay has never really been Naught Dog's game, they mostly borrow other elements from other games and either update them or perfect them for another audience, their games are pretty fun and engaging though from what I've played, and I haven't played TLOU.
Battlefield, Titanfall, Destiny, Call of Duty Ghosts and Advanced Warfare, Sports Games, Slender, Five Nights at Freddy's 1 2 and 3, and finally, The Stanley Parable.
Skyrim. And this comes from an Elder Scrolls fan. Oblivion and Morrowind were far superior.
I don't like being part of the crowd, but The… more Last of Us is one of mine too.
Finally (and I know I'll get flack for this) but The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. And once again, this comes from a Zelda fan.

I still find it shocking that I don't like TLOU as much as most people. Especially with how much I love Naughty Dog.
As for OoT? I honestly think that nearly every 3D Zelda that followed it was better. Heck the game's direct follow-up Majora's Mask is one of my favourite games of all time.
I guess the reason why I didn't like it as much as most people though was because it wasn't my first Zelda game. A Link to the Past was.
Agreed with you for the first point
Don't agree with you on the second, but it's understandable
Third point, not trying to start a fight, BUT WHAT!? Why may I ask?
I personally don't think games can truly be overrated, from my experience it's just an excuse some people use for disliking a game but for other people they provide reasons for why they think a game is overrated. But I truly believe overrated isn't really a thing, for some reason people just dislike popular things, I know ALLOT of people who hated something as soon as they heard it was popular :v I personally think most of the games of today are underrated by critics unless those critics are positively biased.
I understand you. It can get annoying when people start dry humping TLOU and consider it the greatest video game of all time. But, that doesn't mean I don't love the living shit out of it. I know it seems like I'm contradicting myself greatly, but it actually is one of my favorite games of all time. It's just annoying when people express TOO much about it. You get me right?
Oh, well Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda game. As a matter of fact, it was actually the first console game I've ever played. Whenever my sister had me play something else, I would tell her to put Ocarina of Time instead lol. I played that game ever since I was 4! I sadly wasn't able to play the other Zelda games because of money issues, and I turned to Playstation. Need to get a 3DS XL to get Majora's Mask.

I probably should have looked into the game a little more before buying it. I honestly only bought it because of the amount of people around here that seemed to have enjoyed it, and it was cheap.

All of these for me
* The Last Of Us - God, I hated this game.. I got so bored of it. The only person who I somewhat liked what Sarah,… more but other than that my interest was minimal. Ellie really bugged me also..
* Grand Theft Auto - Grand Theft Auto's a really good game but its talked about WAY too much, its fun but I get bored after playing it for more than a few hours in a week.
* Assassins Creed - Meh.
* Tomb Raider - Tomb Raider is also good but Lara (new version) is bland as hell and almost like a damsel in distress imo. She's not really much of a badass and doesnt really have a unique personality.
* Far Cry - Far Cry 4 is overrated in my opinion, my friends wont stop talking about it.. I played it and it was good but gaming websites seem to freaking have sex with this game.
* The Walking Dead (in many aspects) - Yeah... Sad to say I think The Walking Dead is kind of overrated, especially Season 1. I re played Season … [view original content]
people just hate popular shit. well destiny. i never played it and i really dont intent to. but it just won the BAFTA for game of the year, bullshit. fucking money grab from what ive heard.
The problem is when your led to believe that a game will blow your mind and you think you wont be able to stop playing for hours and then you go out spend your hard earned on it only to discover that its not amazing at all just average, maybe above or below average, when you were promised something special it doesn't live up to expectations thats what annoys me

(ʖ ͜° ͜ʖ)
Skyrim and GTA. Fun games, but I don't get how people think that they're some of the best games ever.
Call of fucking Duty
Skyrim. I enjoyed it a bit, but not fully. I think Fallout is better lol.
COD and halo
Dark Souls, Kingdom Hearts, and Halo.

How exactly is Kingdom Hearts immature?
The dialogue is immature. It's unbearable at some points.
I couldn't even finish playing through the first episode. It was cringe worthy.
I was actually going to buy it till I saw the last trailer for episode 1. I feel more likely than not if you're not a teenager, or can't relate to that setting you probably won't like the game. (hence why I didn't buy/play it)
I know lots of adults who like this game. c:
Well then its probably not your type of game, I like it because its so different than most games that have you make choices.
That's why I said "more likely than not"
Its meant for kids and teens and is often only played by older gamers for nostalgia
"Gameplay was boring and unoriginal'

Yes, the dialogue, but the story is fine.
Kingdom hearts 358/2 days has one of the saddest endings in gaming.
I agree with you that Ocarina Of Time is overrated. It is. But it's still my most favourite game of all time.

Yeah, I do still love the game though. But I wouldn't consider it one of my all-time-favourites.

Life is Strange, so cringe worthy.
With that said, I still find the concept interesting.
you hate everything
people just hate popular shit. well destiny. i never played it and i really dont intent to. but it just won the BAFTA for game of the year, bullshit. fucking money grab from what ive heard.
How is Heavy Rain overrated? I feel like people missed it completely I felt like it wasn't as known as it should be same with Alan Wake
Halo. Another great series spoiled by corporate bullshit.
Yeah xD
