Patch is not compattible?

in Tales from the Borderlands

patch is not compatible with game version? Don't really want to reinstall the whole thing again? Will i lose my saves?

    shouldn't really happen when its been delayed like 2 months

    When you uninstall you get an option to save your old saved files. I did it and reinstalled the game. Now the patch works..

    Sucks to wait another 5 hours downloading an episode you've already got tho
