They even tried to get one of the original voice actors on board.

If you threw some Fanfiction at me, I'd probably read it. I just tend to not like ships forced onto cano… moren material (ex: Destiel, with fans claiming that there was "queer-baiting" done beforehand and so on) due to the fact that it is often unfair and easily rips fandoms apart.
