I got so many loved and cherished games. My #1 choice is usually Resident Evil 4. Never heard about the hype for this game or played any REs before it, at the time. Just a random rent for a week and I thought I hit the jack-pot.
There are two types of games for me: competitive games and the ones which are all about story telling. Seen from the competitive perspective, FIFA and Hearthstone are for sure two of my favourite games of all time and I will probably keep playing them for centuries. Storywise, I would put up Alan Wake pretty high. After that (some for cinematic experience), Mafia II, Tomb Raider, the Ezio trilogy from the Assassin's Creed series, the Gears of War series, games like L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption and of course The Walking Dead and other Telltale games.
I must say I have enjoyed both Grand Theft Auto IV and San Andreas a lot too. At last, I am still a fan of Nintendo series such as Super Mario, Donkey Kong and Fire Emblem.
It WAS The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. But after some thinking, I'm going to have to go with:
Everything about this game was amazing. The characters and the interactions they had were great, with plenty of humor, and the combat is action-packed and you never get bored!
You can't make me pick just one because I'm a rebel and being forced to only pick one would break me. so here's three:
* Knights of the Old Republic 2 (With Restored Content Mod)
* Fallout: New Vegas
* Left 4 Dead 2
Oh no! You're mixing up your Scorsese films.
I was referring to when Sport told Travis he's a "funny guy" after telling him he doesn't look "hip."
Truly the hippest.

Basically any Bioware RPG I played, along with the RPGs their associate companies (like Obsidian) developed. Also, Bethesda's RPGs.
And Crusader Kings II. Man do I love that game.

If I had to choose a favorite game it would be bioshock infinite
Oh this is a hard one...With so many great series to choose from like Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Deus Ex...and each one having multiple games...
I got to go with Mass Effect 2. It's honestly just a really great game all around.

Oh, Christ. Don't make me choose....
I will choose three because I cannot choose a definite one.

Following that closely would be Half-Life 2 and Fallout 2.

I have quite a few. But I'll narrow it down to my Favorite 5.

Totally dating myself, but I still find this game challenging...Robotron 2084!
And Red Dead Redemption had some of the coolest open world play and plot I've enjoyed in the more recent games.
There's still hope for a sequel! It has to happen eventually with that ending ;-; I grew up playing this series.
This masterpiece
Probably Oblivion. It still gets binge played occasionally.
Three-way tie between Final Fantasy X, Bayonetta and Haunting Ground.
I love fallout new vegas! It would probably be my second favorite game.
JIMMY HOPKINS 4 LIFE
Grand Theft Auto 3 will always have that place in my heart like no other game
Crusader Kings II is probably my favorite game. Man do I also love that game.
Great Lord of the Rings game and it has great replay value:
Assassins Creed 2
that game IS FUCKING UNDERRATED
I like to say GTA franchise cuz i love them all but it probably GTA: San Andreas
man i always had a crush on those girls from FF X. so you can guess i exploded when i discovered Jessica Nigri
This and LA Noire are underrated for Rockstar games
