Silent Hills not dead after all?
Apparently Microsoft is in talks with Konami to purchase the rights of the game as an Xbox one exclusive!

I heard about this today, too. It's actually pretty cool, although I feel kind of bad for anyone who got a PS4 for the main reason of playing Silent Hills. I'll be keeping my eye on this and hope it pulls through.

I hope this doesn't happen, honestly. Silent Hill was always a PlayStation franchise, and one of the reasons why I even bought a PS4 was for the new Silent Hill game. I would hate to see it on Xbone.

I brought a PS4 so that I could play Silent Hills (among other games) before it was dropped! And now, to add the proverbial salt to the wound, it might end up as an Xbone nought exclusive! Ach, so annoying!

It could still be true. Realistically, that would be better than the game being simply...well, not made. It would still annoy me since I bought a PS4 so that I could play it.

Confirmed by Xbox boss to be untrue. It's too bad really. As a longtime Xbox owner, I never got to play a Silent Hill game, and I would have loved the chance to play it. It would be a shame for a game that's 80% done to go to waste.

Microsoft would have just ruined it anyway, silent hill is j-horror at its best (japan does the genre so well) an american company would end up somehow making it humorous like they do with all j-horrors
You can always wait until the end of the console generation to pick it up cheap. That's what I usually do when I pick up a second gaming console from any generation.
Plus, since the generation is almost over by that point, you'll have the benefit of having a larger library to choose from, so there will almost certainly be more than one game on the console that you'll want then.
Meh... I don't really know if XB1 is a god Idea, but I'd do anything to Bring our Beloved Silent Hill franchise back to life.
