Yeah,I know that we're talking about comic MIchonne but I guess it'd be cool if they get the show actor to voice her..Just my thoughts

Son of a gun! I just asked this and I'm not sure. They got Nick Herman a Telltale employee yo do Glenn's voice probably because it takes place in he comics not the show

i don't think so, they didn't get glenn and hershel's actors to voice their characters so i don't see why they would do it for michonne plus imo it will be better if they don't that way people won't think it is part of the tv show

Whoever is chosen for the role, it doesn't bother me. But Danai would be the logical choice.

Lol she's not supposed to emote, as the character Michonne is trying not to show any emotion. Probably Michonne's thought process is that showing emotion is a form of weakness. The only time Michonne does show emotion is close to when she's breaking down, or when she has her guard down.

If they can get her, yeah. She has a lovely voice, kind of smoky and deep.
She has a "someone farted and I'mma find out who" face, and that's about the extent of it. What's scenes in particular are you talking about?
Doubt it. It will be just like how Nick Herman voiced Glenn in the game.
There are plenty of scenes where she is smiling and joking, particularly when she's with Carl. She emoted plenty when she was with Andrea during her last moments. She cried when she found Carl and Rick and when she held Judith. She has flirted a little bit here and there, like with Daryl. She was compleltely different in that dream sequence she had. She doesnt just scowl every moment. As she has been more and more part of the group and opened up more, weve seen more of her personality.
Why wouldnt they if shes available and willing? If they can get the cast of Game of Thrones for that game, no reason why they couldnt do this.

I said she can't emote, not that she doesn't try. All I'm saying is I think she does a poor acting job on the show, and because of this I predict Telltale will go for another actress who has more range.

You didn't ask me but ill answer anyway.I think Danai does a wonderful job on the show with what shes given.Shes definitely shown range all you have to do it compare S3 Michonne to S5 Michonne.
I doubt they'll get her to voice this Michonne since they've already made it clear that they're trying to bridge a gap between the comic books and the games not the TV series.
Danai Garai, from what i read, is an award winning actress and playwrite. She would do just fine in this.
Yes, I do and I dont see any reason at all why she shouldnt be able to voice a character she has played for three seasons. If they can get her is a different story, but i think she would be more than capable.
Danai is great, but this is not tv Michonne that's why i don't want her to play this Michonne.
difference here is game of thrones is set in the tv shows world so it was appropriate to cast the tv show actors unlike twd and even she is available they shouldn't cast her to set the fact that this isn't michonne from the show
Yeah, but Telltale isn't what it used to be. The Walking Dead put brought them a much bigger fanbase and made them a lot more money. Money that they've used to hire the actors from Game of Thrones, so it wouldn't be too out there if Danai Gurira did end up voicing Michonne in the game.
Although, I'm totally cool with the voice being done by someone else.
Seeing as how Michonne(TV) and her comic counterpart are very different, it'd kinda be confusing to have Danai do the voice.
Yeah, but you have to remember that was in the early days when Telltale wasn't as famous as they are now. After the success of the The Walking Dead, they expanded their company, hired more people, and made more successful games. Using the money they made off of those games, they were able to hire some of the Game of Thrones actors to voice their respective characters.
Now, whether or not Danai Gurira will voice the character is entirely up to her and Telltale.
Glenn was voiced by a different person in the video game than the actor on the TV show. So was Herschel. The game is based on the comics, and bringing anyone from the team into involvement with the game's development brings Telltale and AMC closer than I'd be comfortable with. We should be grateful that Robert Kirkman gets to do whatever he wants, being involved with the show and Telltale's games separate from each other. Bringing in an actor from the show would just invite trouble. Why, because she's cool? Most importantly, it would be an attachment between the game and the TV show when the game is supposed to be based on the comics separate from the show. That's not what Telltale wants, I don't think any of us want that.
This Michonne looks different, plus it's possible Danai may not want to.
