Rose does love Blue, she realises after he dies that she should've made her move sooner, and that she loved him for being him and not just because he was a hero.
Blue brushed off Rose because he found out she was attracted to him for being a man of action, but after his death she regretted being such a bitch and wanted to make amends, hence her long depression and isolation...

So sad Fables was so good foe so long but this last couple arc have been easily the worst fables have ever had. So much so I feel like the story will be tripping over itself in the finally and the change for Rose from wanting to be a better person to plotting to murder her sister was so immediate that it was ridiculous. It's like Bill wants us all to think that she's a complete b'&$# which he's succeeded in my case.
Exactly my thoughts, they threw all of character developement they did since the first issue out of the window just for sake of entertainment. If they wanted something like this they should make proper build up for it. Well anyway this issue will be full of deus ex becuase there is no way they will tie all those loose ends without it.

The ghost of Blue did appear again in issue 146 very briefly...
I don't think Blue will return, but I do think Rose will see him again somehow
I believe that there will be a lot of deus ex machina in this issue becuase I dont see any possible way how to end all those story arcs without it.
