Episode 2 can't choose ride

in Tales from the Borderlands

In episode two when you get to Scooters and are going to choose your new ride, it says I have insufficient funds which I clearly have $1360 or something like that.. Then when I attempt to exit out it won't let me.
I started the game over from the last save and re played it up till scooter, where it did it again. What am I supposed to do? I need to finish this episode to understand the new one. How can I over come this glitch?

This is on Xbox btw.

    Uninstall episode 3 and see if that works I did that and it worked after I chose my ride I reinstall episode 3 it happens my guess TellTale will have to fix that glitch and I play Xbox too
