I played it, it wasn't that good. IMO it was pretty repetitive, the voice acting imo was boring, i heard Troy Since Metal Gear. Once you beat the game, their isn't any reason to replay the game, the multiplayer was weak as hell.

I rather play Resident Evil 6 than play TLOU. That is saying a lot. The last of us they do stupid things in this game that makes me mad.
Like why is there a limit of how many bullets you can hold, that makes ZERO sense to me. So you are telling me Game , that i can only hold six handgun bullets?
I'd like a game involving Tommy. If they are going continue the franchise I want it to be cohesive. Jumping around from random person to person, random group to group, and random place to place would just be obnoxious to me.

As for your annoyance with the game only letting you hold so much ammo? It was quite a bit more than 6 shots if I do remember correctly. I want to say it was 16 for the revolver and 20 something for the 9 mm, but I could be mistaken. The combat was based off of a survivalist mentality. How do you get through the situation at hand with limited ammunition and supplies? It doesn't make sense to let you horde 500 rounds, because that defeats the purpose of a huge amount of the other mechanics such as stealth tactics and supply usage (e.g. when to craft and use a bomb vs when to blast fools with your shotgun). Is it the most realistic way to keep you low on supplies? Maybe not, but it was necessary. On harder difficulties you rarely ever reached the cap for ammunition. Besides.... Joel was carrying a shit ton of shit! Ammo gets heavy!

Oh okay, I was going to say that that probably wouldn't work. Flashbacks of Joel and Tommy could work, but I don't think they would really be necessary. We know what happened, vaguely, spelling it out would be like holding your hand through the story. I think those years are served better dark, where you can fill in the blanks with whatever horrors your mind can manifest. For example we know that Joel was a hunter for a time... now let your mind wander. Moving forward with Tommy, and his town, could be really cool. So long as they can make it pretty original (crazy people coming in and ruining the town, for instance, would be a terrible idea).

I know Naughty Dog very well. I've known them since the first Crash Bandicoot. They were the reason I took interest in TLoU in the first pla… morece. They've never made a bad game, but that doesn't mean they've never made a game I don't like. I'm not saying that if they made a sequel, it would be a bad game. It would most likely be a great game. I'm saying it wouldn't be as good, and it could potentially retroactively ruin the first game's perfect ending. I'd much rather they leave it be, than risk that.

No prequels, I don't need what happened in the past spelled out for me as its already made obvious in the first game, let's move forward with the story. Joel may have hit his limits but Ellie still has more room to grow as a character.

I feel at times I'm one of the few people that played through the game, had a blast, were intrigued by the characters and their developmental arcs, finished it, and then didn't think that a sequel was at all necessary. The game's ending was damn near perfect by all means if you're willing to sit back and analyze it. It's not a "To Be Continued..." ending, it's an ambiguously woven tense emotional standoff between two people who are most certainly going to drift apart and I don't really need to see where their journey will go next.
I just hope that the title is the only thing that will stick and they won't use Joel and Ellie anymore, I wish we could just have a single IP that doesn't get sequel after sequel.

There is much more there than "well, we didn't get a cure." Just as there was more to the ending of TWDG S1 than "well, we found her parents."
The negativity that faced Mass Effect 3s ending wasn't that it was a bad, or pointless, ending, it's that after 3 games of making so many varying choices there were only 3 possible endings to get. Not the same, seeing as TLOU never even remotely hinted at being anything but linear.

I don't think Naughtydog will do anything to jeopardize the first games integrity, at least I hope not.
I think they'll do a BO2, not a perfect sequel to the first but still great in it's own right.
