Not sure if I 'ship' them, but Rhys and Vaughn are super endearing. I'm a bit biased though since my wife and I cosplayed as them. We've always gravitated towards characters who are super loyal friends (for instance Newt and Hermann from Pacific Rim or Roy and Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist, who we've also cosplayed as), because the dynamics of a quality friendship are the cornerstones of a healthy relationship.
Sometimes it's embarrassing how many parallels I find in characters like Rhys and Vaughn (watching Regular Show is hilarious doubly so because how Mordecai and Rigby are basically cartoon personifications of my wife and I) but it's a lot of fun too, since couples don't really get depicted as pals much in media.
I know this is a bit of a digression, but just wanted to pipe up in favor of those two Hyperion dorks.
